My dealership experience!! - Luvmyhonda
I have never had a pleasant car buying experience from a dealership. I feel pressured, nervous and overwhelmed. Normally I try to purchase my vehicles from individuals outside of dealerships but this time I saw a vehicle I was very interested in at Honda of Bartlesville. I dreaded it but I thought I would try a dealership one more time. I cannot tell you what a pleasant and easy buying experience I had at Honda of Bartlesville. We got there close to closing time but they were happy to stay and help me with the purchase of my new vehicle. I could not believe how wonderful the experience was! There was absolutely no pressure from anyone there and I never once felt nervous, upset or worried about anything. If you want a seamless, no-pressure and actually a pleasant car buying experience...I absolutely recommend this place!!! And... I love my new CR-V!!

Terrible manager - JustAGuy
We came in for a simple quote and were made to wait over two hours while we were subjected to high-pressure tactics. The manager would hardly leave us alone even while we were making personal phone calls. He also threatened to give us a worse deal if we left to come back later. We are never going back, and are warning everyone we know.
Oil change and engine repair - Retired!
I took my Honda in for scheduled oil and filter change. While there the engine noise I asked about was diagnosed and repaired under factory warranty. My service representative, Erik, was very helpful in both explaining and expediting the repair. I have always had a good experience there when servicing my car whoever the service representative happened to be.
DISHONEST SCAMMERS - Chelsey292
DID NOT HAVE A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT, only a “conditional”.
Was told I would receive my vehicle back since the finance fell through, only to be strong armed and cornered by a black hearted incompetent sales manager with no empathy, JC and told getting my vehicle back was not an option. Then later bullied into paying $1200 for the SAME vehicle I was told I “couldn’t” get back, from the GM Dan, all because he didn’t want to undo the paperwork and certification for the vehicle he knew was supposed to be returned.
BUYER BEWARE! Go to another dealership, and stay away from these crooks. They prey on women, people of color, and the elderly! Save yourself the heartache and financial worry and GO ELSEWHERE!
Excellent Customer Service - abell21
My wife always takes her car their for service and has never had a problem. We have been looking for a car for our kid and decided to shop around. We found the perfect car for us and wasted time going to other Honda dealers nearby. Don Carlton Honda is the place to go. Sales people are very friendly and it was a quick and easy process for purchase.
Wouldn't go back - mark
Bought a used car, unfortunately I HAD to (no time) otherwise I would've walked out. Everything outside of the deal they didn't care about, I needed a full tank because for whatever reason they "didn't have the time" when I bought it to go fill it up so they said come back. A week later I did (30 minutes away), they at least honored that part and got me gas but were too cheap and put in about half of the cheap stuff which I've had the car long enough now to know it's 4-5 gallons. What bugged me the most is right before I paid for the car, the salesperson told me they didn't have a spare key, they'll contact the previous owner and if they had no luck they'd cut me one. Don't ever trust their word, next thing they told me was "oh sorry, no luck, were at the mercy of other customers, if you'd like we can give you an estimate of what a spare key costs" I wasn't happy and said you were suppose to cut me one if you didn't get one from the previous owner, that is what you told me before I bought it. Of course no response back. They're not gonna get another dime from me and don't expect them to treat you any different. I work on my own cars so they will definitely not being seeing my car again. Don't go to a dealership unless you have to. They haggled over a key and some gas, then I wouldn't dare go to them if I had a real problem with the car, as you can tell from the other reviews it gets worse.

I will just provide an excerpt from a correspondence I sent to the Manager & Owner (of which they did not reply to):
Sir (Mr. Mark Watts),
I am sincerely disappointed that we could not find a way to make a deal with my 2017 CR-V EX-L. I am not sure you will remember me. However, Mrs. Cynthia Stauder was working with me on looking for a 2018 Accord (Touring) - at one point you called me personally and told me that "you will do whatever it may take to earn my business"- At first, it appeared that Mrs. Stauder was working diligently to accommodate to me so that your company could earn my business from Patterson. I released my information to Mrs. Stauder on one condition, that the credit only be run "one time", and unfortunately that did not occur. I have an application through a credit monitoring system that informs me every time my credit is run, and was notified of three separate transactions on my credit report nearly within 15 minutes of me hanging up with her. Near the end of the day I received a text message from Mr. Stuader requesting "so you don’t care if I try a couple different lenders because Honda is not picking up..." at this point the credit had already been run three separate times prior to her request, and in the interest of full transparency, I did agree, since the damage had already been done. Needless to say, I never, till this day received a phone call or text message to follow-up on the deal. Not even a "no I am sorry we can't make this happen right now." I was simply discarded as a nonviable customer. Ultimately, I was skeptical that we could find common ground to make the deal happen and was ready to wait, should I of had to and still give your company the opportunity to earn my business. Nonetheless, this incident was my second attempt to bring my business Milo Gordon and unfortunately this will discouraged me from attempting a third time. I have written this correspondence in the pure interest of ensuring that you are aware of this customer service mishap and so that it may not happen to someone else again in the future.
Knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly! - Satisfied Customer 345
Scott Derrick helped me from start to finish. Brandon Mulligan handled the finance portion. I called Scott in the morning to let him know what I was looking for and the details of my trade-in (2014 CR-V). Scott put his hands on the vehicle I was looking for and let me know that it was available. He let me know what paperwork to bring in to the dealership. Scott was knowledgeable and happy to explain all the features of my 2018 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E. The entire process was ZERO pressure. Very professional performance by all involved! Thanks for the assistance.
Oh my gosh!!! What a fantastic experience! I drove away... - mgmaybe65
Oh my gosh!!! What a fantastic experience! I drove away the happiest woman in the world. I am the proud owner of a 2012 accord coupe. Everything went so perfect. I went in looking with a friend who was the one in the market for a new car and I was the one who drove away with one myself. I most definately will recommend those guys to my friends and family.
