Last night, after returning from an eight hour roundtrip to get my beloved old E350 4Matic serviced, my thought was, the experience at the car dealership was, simply the best. When asked why I would drive that far when there were other dealerships closer, the answer was, I trusted Bobby Rahal Motor Car Company and their team.
To a certain few, they may seem to possess an attitude of superiority. But when providing a good service and being busy and efficient, they quietly do an excellent job with confidence. It is impossible to please everyone, but these are my experiences, the first happening by fate.
While on a trip away from home alone, my car simply shut down. Mercedes Benz sent a car trailer with a nice driver to take my car to the closest dealership. It was Bobby Rahal in Wexford, PA. As it turned out, an inexpensive broken serpentine belt had caused the problem. BUT, while giving my car a quick check-out, they discovered another problem that would have potentially have been dangerous had it not be repaired.
My husband and I had been driving home from Manhattan on the New Jersey Turnpike and hit a terrible pot hole. We had to put a spare tire on out on the highway after it began losing air. What we didn't know was there was more serious damage. After that repair, it made me grateful it was discovered while in the hands of a competent service department.
When another thorough check-out and service was needed, the appointment was made in Wexford. Dave Gutherie did not remember us, it had been four years, but I told him, you are trusted to oversee this process and tell me what is best.
He called me and went into detail about what was found before proceeding with any work. Again, they found some items needing corrected, all with cause and effect being understood. I am grateful for being able to trust a business to do a good job. Each and every person encountered during the two day experience was the best.
Owning a Mercedes comes with the idea it is special. My car is a 2008 with 102,000 miles. It is Sienna Black, an interesting metal flake combination, with cognac leathers seats, and premium wheels. Driving it home after it being checked out and improved was magic. My old friend was good to go anywhere.
They didn't try to convince me to buy a new car, although it was quite possible. There was no deception in stating what needed to be done. They did their jobs with expertise and confidence, all the while being cordial and accommodating.
If I decide to buy another Mercedes, it will be there. Any service in the future will be there also. Often, customers are quick to write the bad reviews, I am pleased to report my personal experiences with candor, knowing a job well done should be recognized as well.

We purchased a pre-owned certified Acura MDX from Contemporary Mortorcar. Since we live 2,300 miles away, the purchase was made by phone. The paperwork was done via email and FedEx and was simple. An amazing experience and they were very warm & welcoming. The sales team made the process a lot easier than other places that I’ve shopped around at in the past.
I shopped for my first Mercedes-Benz here but I’ll definitely look to Danny when I buy my next one. He's very professional, super friendly, positive, and he makes sure you have everything necessary to be comfortable and confident.

I just purchased a 2018 S-560, manager was friendly & helpful, salesman had very little time to spend, concierge was good but waited over 1/2 hr for my appointment, had some protection plans added to the paint & interior. I picked up my car after the protection plans added & was disappointed again with not all work performed, the tires showing under deflated, the windshield being dirty that the windshield washer doesn’t clean.... not impressed, but I don’t have an hour or more to continue running back & forth. I’m not impressed so far & wouldn’t recommend this dealership due to communication skills. Too much money spent to be treated like this! My last MB came from Lancaster where they truly treat you as a valued customer. I would give them at most 3 stars. Dennis Burkholder

They say they can fix older Benz....but they can't, and will charge you a lot to "try and fix it". Go sonewhere else if you have an older car. They will siphon your wallet.

I had a state inspection done on my Acura RDX on Wednesday, June 5. After a ridiculously long wait and a bogus upsell on a pair of windshield wipers I "needed" to pass inspection, I left irritated at the price and the wait but glad it was completed for the year. I had an appointment with Baierl Acura Wexford but canceled in hopes of saving time getting it done close to the city. By June 10, I was sitting in the Baierl Acura Wexford service center, waiting on my transmission to be flushed, and was shown also both front and rear differential fluids and break fluid were burned completely black. Had I left for my previously scheduled 2-week work roadtrip without a visit to my faithful Acura dealer, I would have blown my transmission, or much worse. My Acura service provider was horrified by the fact that my car passed inspection a mere five days prior, showed me the fluids and said they should have been checked/easy to spot because of how badly burned. I expected far better from your dealership, in both speed and quality of service. I have always believed the Mercedes is only a label for people to drive, all flashy distractions with little internal substance. It is sad to find your Mercedes service center is the same. You could not pay me enough money to bring my car back there.
