This dealership went above and beyond in getting my Highlander to the dealership for the 1 year service by picking up and delivering my car.. This was important to me because I'm in the covid high risk category since I had had open heart surgery and a later heart attack as well as other prior surgeries

I have had several "Works" oil change and tire rotations - F100

I have had several "Works" oil change and tire rotations here and have generally been pleased, however the last one was not up to past standards. I watch people work on my vehicle when I can and observed some of this work being performed as I have in the past as well. I noted a few things that I was not pleased with. First no torque wrench or even torque stick was used, just a couple "ugga duggas" on the impact. Second tires were rotated straight back and forward on the same side, this is not the rotation pattern called for in either the owners manual or on Michelins site. The under tray was allowed to hang during oil change vs removing 3 or 4 extra screws to take it completely off. Because of this I double checked the wheel bolts with my Torque Wrench (a CDI which is a quality tool) and found that all but one lug nut was under torque and they were very inconsistent. Additionally I found a chip in the wheel paint near a lug hole that is undoubtably from careless placement or holding of the socket when working with the nearby lug. Lenoir City Ford is the only one who has had the wheels off, and I have never put a wrench on them prior so I know they did it. Giving credit where credit is due, they are always polite and accommodating of any request, the car has always gone in and been worked on and returned promptly a the appointed time and the waiting area, shop and dealership in general is clean and in good repair. Additionally the delivery when new was stellar and they went above and beyond on that. I'll go back, however I will be asking for Justin next time and I guess I have to look it over after every visit in the future.

We miss Ralph but we do like the serivce area. It is second to none. Glad they elevated Mike Fields into service manager when they did. Seneca Bradley is someone I have gotten to know over the years and know he is terrific when I take in our cars.

Just needed routine service. Have always had our Toyota vehicles Toyota-serviced. Never had so many expensive repair needs "discovered" during those services as here. If you're going to use them, come in determined only to purchase what you planned beforehand. Update: car began acting funny after previous visit. Troy, the service manager, took care of me and treated me like a VIP. I still wish I hadn't been talked into the other stuff last time, but I do appreciate his working to make it right.

I have another Subaru dealership closer distance- wise, and our whole family chooses to drive extra distance just to avoid the other location . We own 4 Subarus we service all of them in Gallatin . We had bought 2 last vehicles from them as well . Everyone we had come in contact with is exceptionally nice and helpful . Love this place !

I rarely post reviews but feel compelled to do so regarding Volunteer Chevrolet’s service department. The reason I’m posting this review at this time is that I heard some folks were complaining about the length of time Volunteer was taking to repair their vehicles. In truth, it took over a month for Volunteer to start working on my truck but, as opposed to getting angry, I became curious as to why. I started paying attention to the news and learned 50,000 Chevrolet auto union workers went on strike 9-16-19 so were unable to supply their dealerships with parts because they were busy picketing, as opposed to working. Consequently, it should be a no-brainer that no one can repair a vehicle without parts. I suspect Chevy mechanics and staff everywhere across the Nation were more than frustrated during this troublesome time. Back in 2000 I bought a brand-new Chevy S-10 4x4 ZR-2 pickup truck right off the showroom floor. I love it now as much as I did then. For 20 years only ‘Volunteer’ mechanics have worked on my truck and, no matter what the problem was, they never failed to fix it. The service manager, Paul, is a tremendous asset to this company. His coordination efforts are top-notch, as are his ‘people’ skills. Both of Paul’s qualities serve Chevy well. Under normal circumstances Paul has always scheduled my vehicle for repairs in a very efficient and timely manner. During the ‘strike’ he did his best to keep me hopeful that it would end soon. The parts department has consistently gone above and beyond to find obscure parts for my now vintage truck. I understand Steve in the parts department is relatively new on the job but has already provided me with exceptional service. He seems to be very organized and has extensive knowledge as to parts for even older models and, to me, this is everything when it comes to the needs of my old truck. Fortunately, some of Volunteer’s mechanics have the knack and know-how to work on older vehicles. It seems Ricky is one of those specialists and I really appreciate his having the knowledge and skill required to do the job. His skills are becoming rarer and rarer to find in this technological day and age and Chevy is lucky to have snagged him. The strike was officially over 10-25-19 so Chevy is back to repairing vehicles. Volunteer Chevrolet has always done right by me and my truck and I’m certain there are a lot of other satisfied customers out there who feel the same. I give Volunteer the highest ‘star’ rating possible. 5+

AL contacted me less than 24 hours after posting my previous review regarding my 2018 Titan. If I would’ve spoken to him I can assure you my review would’ve been drastically different. He genuinely cared about the problems with my truck. He sent a flatbed to tow my vehicle to their dealership (at no expense) for their mechanic to attempt to resolve any issues with it. I can’t recommend him enough and anyone concerned with anything should ask for him.
