This was our first time to purchase a vehicle from CarMax and it was sooooo easy!!! We located the vehicle in Houston and paid to have it brought to Lubbock. This truck looked like a brand new one and it was 2 yrs old. Henry, the young man that helped us with the paperwork, was so sweet and had everything done for us. This is probably the best experience I have every had at a dealership. If you need a GOOD used vehicle, I would highly recommend going through CarMax!

I agreed to sell my Pontiac to Viva Mitsubishi on May 10th. I provided both sets of keys and a clean and clear Pennsylvania title to the salesperson and signed all of the paperwork. No money is owed on the vehicle. On May 12th I was asked to provide my Pennsylvania registration and to pick up a pair of sunglasses I had left in the vehicle. I went right after work and completed that. On May 22nd, I was asked to return to the dealership and sign a request for a duplicate title. I found it odd when I arrived, but was assured it is common practice. Today, June 2nd, I'm told I must call Pennsylvania to provide a title number since there is a discrepancy with CARFAX. The dealership was given the title and my registration in May. Pennsylvania wont change a title number to a vehicle? Maybe there is a CARFAX typo or issue, but i find that hard to believe because the CARFAX shows the title dates accurately for my time owning the vehicle. I haven't been paid the agreed price in nearly a month, but the vehicle has been advertised for sale on the dealerships website since May 16th. Ive filed complaints today with TX DMV and BBB, and will start consulting attorneys. Please avoid trade-ins and selling your vehicles to this place before you read all prior reviews. People have gone over a year without the ability to register purchased vehicles. It seems the management, finance team, and title clerk do not understand title transfers at all. Ive bought and sold over 30 vehicles, this is a first for me.

I appreciate David taking my call on a Saturday, and giving me an appointment the following Wednesday. My car had an issue that warranted getting to the dealership as soon as possible. I will drive 100 miles round trip & out of the way to get great and dependable service from someone that took my call and was willing to help me. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. Everyone—and I truly mean everyone—was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive to our needs. We purchased a 2026 Mitsubishi Outlander SEL, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free. Richard did an incredible job—he was professional, kind, and genuinely cared about our experience. When we stepped out for lunch, he even went to the Hurst location himself to pick up the vehicle so we wouldn’t have to. That level of service really stood out. Highly recommend!

I can't tell how much hasle these people gave me!!! From the sales person, Raul Parra, to the top manager, Mr. Jaramillo. Starting from Mr. Jaime Palacios, second manager, with his wrong approach by being rude and unethical via email by saying terrible things about the competitors, such as Mission Mitsubishi. Then the salesman gave me a final price over the phone, but then they increased it to another $1000 when in person and lied to me, basically saying I heard wrong. Also, after 1½ there, they showed me a Hyunday pre-owned car for the same price, trying to make me change my mind. Two hours later, at 6:01 pm, the salesman told me that they wanted me to pay in another way, when the bank was already closed, even though I told them multiple times from the beginning about the method of payment. Finalizing with the Mr. Jamarillo telling me at 6:33 pm (when everything was already closed) that I needed to get a full coverage insurance for the car to be able to take it with me. I had to take the car home dirty with not full tank (as it is supposed to be). The experience was the most frustrating, difficult, and disappointing ever! Also, FYI, these people don't help customers to get an insurance for the car that they'd purchase neither have someone who help with that, but people can't leave the place without it. I spent almost 4 hours in this place. I cried, I felt very stressed, and humiliated. I also had to drive back the next day to finish the process, due to the terrible communication and process from these people, especially from the 2 managers: Ernesto Jaramillo and Jaime Palacios They put an end to the excitement of what it means to buy a new vehicle for the first time. To finalize, Raul mentioned the discounts that I could have towards the price, which included the rebate from the dealership, the loyalty discount (since I currently own a Mitsubishi), and the student discount (since I am student and I mentioned to them multiple times and I could prove it immediately. To my surprise, they did not put the student discount. I verified every document related to this purchase, and there is nothing about it. Even though I asked about the "final sale price" innumerable times, but they stood in the position of "take it or leave it". So I ended up paying more than I was supposed. They will say "you saved a lot" and "that was a great deal", but the numbers don't lie (as they do). Be aware, there's not transparency during the process. Everything happens literally behind the doors while you are just waiting on a room wondering for 10-15 minutes what's going on. And they are back-and-forth during the entire process without being communicative with the buyer. Honesty, ethic, and integrity are not words that define these people. These people lie a lot!

Great experience ever purchasing a vehicle. They were able to work magic for me. CECIL CAIN JR. & KYLE WYNN are two of the most helpful, knowledgeable and direct. From the beginning they made sure I was comfortable. Being a woman purchasing a car alone Kyle ensured I knew everything. I felt as if they had my best interests at heart not just making a sale. Tim is amazing. I come from a LONG LONG line of car dealership family members.. Dad is a GSM, uncles, close family friends, brother is a finance manager at a dealership.. pretty hard to get my attention, let alone impress me OR keep me as a customer.. Tim is honestly a stand up guy! I went to RB Mitsu 3 years ago to buy an outlander Sport, wasnt thrilled with my sales person but was without wheels due to my last vehicle getting totaled out on the side of the road by a drunk driver.. so i bout the sport.. 3 years later, the Outlanders bodystyle changed and it was an eye catcher, so at an appointment for service I met Tim.. he gave me his card and told me to let him know when i was ready! A few months later I took an employee to see him.. there was just something about this sales guy that really made me feel like he was the best person to help her out.. and sure enough, I was 1000% right.. 2 months later, I went back and saw Tim for my Outlander.. SOLD! I tell Tim all the time he had better not leave Mitsu.. I'll only buy mitsu's and I'll only buy from him! If you want a reliable car with all the features you could want at a price you'll never beat, go see him, you won't be let down!
