I moved to the area two years ago and bought my first car at Bergstrom Oshkosh. A year later, I needed to trade it in for another, much bigger car for hauling kids all over the state. I needed a dependable car, one where I am not in the shop every 3 months, but I am a new teacher and money is tight with 4 kids, a student loan, and life expenses. The manager, Mike, took the time to sit with me and list all the must-have features I needed, list what kind of miles I drive, and list how much room I would need for equipment and suitcases. He then turned me over to Cody Oleson, one of the nicest, most down-to-earth sales reps I've met. He also reviewed the list of what I needed and gave me many choices. He was incredibly patient as I drove *all* the choices and brands and made him sit in all the seats to rate the comfortableness and roominess of the second and third rows (I have very tall kids). He was such a good guy about it and never hesitated to help me, answer my weird questions, or give me the extra information I needed about my top three choices. Financing was easy and quick!! I was very interested in a 2015 Cadillac Escalade they had listed. I called on Friday and talked to there screener a female that does not know to much about cars. She told me all the salesman were busy and the car was being shown. I said fine, I would call and see if it was sold. I called the next day Saturday and ended up with the same women. She told me that the car was put up for auction.
Really a bad way to business. I will buy one, but not from there. I would think it stands that they would make more on a retail sale of an Escalade vs selling at auction.

This was absolutely the WORST experience ever. I beg you, unless you like being treated like dirt, go somewhere else...anywhere! The dealer, Josh N., was aloof, disconnected, and downright rude. The vehicle I wanted to test drive apparently didn't have enough fuel, so Josh went to put more fuel in it. I don't know how O'Malley Honda expects to sell vehicles that don't even have enough fuel in them for a test drive. It took Josh 10 minutes to fill it with 1/4 tank of fuel at the gas station just one-half mile away. I asked him if he was going to go over any of the features of the vehicle with me. He said, and I kid you not, “I don’t normally do that with used vehicles.” What?!? This was a $30K+ used vehicle--a fair amount of money. Once inside the dealership, Josh went to an office on the opposite side of the showroom and then yelled across the showroom and waved for me to come over. Apparently, I wasn't worth the walk ALL THE WAY across the showroom; a shout and a wave was sufficient in his mind. At one point, I called Josh and left a message for him to call me back. After 48 hours, he still hadn't called me. I contacted him again and he told me something like, "I called you but I had the wrong number so I didn't leave a message." I'm not sure why he didn't retrieve the right number from the voicemail message but he didn't. There is no such thing as good service at O'Malley Honda in Wausau. Run away fast...go to the Rhinelander or Stevens Point location if you want to buy a Honda. DO NOT GO TO O'MALLEY HONDA!

I purchased a 94 Geo from Scotty T! It was awesome!! He let me take that son of a xxxxx off roading right next store the price station!!!! A real mans man if you know what I mean. He was not judgmental at all regard my situation. I am a single woman who is not with any man but needs a car for work and fun. Normally men in cars whistle or honk their horn at me. Scott was a perfect gentlemen. He has called or texted me every day since I bought my car 4 months ago. He even offered to take me out to dinner or to Wisconsin Dells for a weekend!!!! What great service. I might upgrade to the 96 model soon. I will go through Scott!!!

I went in tehre to purchase a 2005 Nissan Altima and they wanted $1000 over retail value for it. They wouldn't budge on the price. They said they had too much invested in the car. For instance they said they spent $1800 on tires and brakes. The sales manager all but told the salewoman to get rid of us when we started to make offers. I thought this was going to be the case at a Bergstrom dealership and now I know for sure. If you want bargain at all for a car avoid Bergstrom. They think they are better than that.

The Chev Equinox LTZ was not readily available at this dealership, but Ryan worked with us consistently and professionally to get us everything we were looking for in our Chevy purchase. They washed the car I was buying and left it outside to freeze so after I signed everything and went to drive it, it was frozen and wouldn't let me move. Also when I was looking for a "cheaper" car there was only one, that was a sad selection. The financer Jason lied and said I had no choice and needed to buy their powertrain warranty, found out that wasn't true so I canceled it. Had to take the car back 6 times in 1 month because the engine light kept coming on again and again. They eventually got the problem fixed. The other sales manager made me cry on my 5th visit when I tried to tell him I was upset, driving an hour every time 6 times total. But oh well! Its fixed now and I hopefully never have to go back. Got a good car and finally running good.
