horrible service. A year and 5 months later, same car problem. They won't fix anything but make you keep paying. Managers is horrible too. No longer going to them forever. headquarter is the same also.

UPDATE: Car King did contact me back and got me in contact with their mechanic. The mechanic was able to fix the issues and I passed my emissions test. I really appreciate that they worked hard at turning a bad experience into a good one. I would go back. I purchased a 2011 Ford Fusion on 3/9/24 from Car King. They said that they had checked out and topped off everything and the oil had been changed. April 25th I went to a Valvoline to get an oil change and have my emission test done (oil change was not really needed but I was going on a 5 hour drive that weekend and wanted to have things looked over). They couldn't change the oil because Car King had sold me a car with a stripped oil plug. Which means that either their mechanic stripped it or they lied about the oil change. The car also did not pass emissions because of a leak in the evap system. Now I am fully aware that they can sell me a vehicle that won't pass emissions. It's fine, that's the risk you run when buying a used vehicle, the dealership can sell you something that's not actually technically legal to drive on the road. They probably just turned the check engine light off and happily sold it. But when a mechanic strips an oil plug, typically you can go back to the mechanic and hold them accountable. I contacted Car King on April 26th, and was told by Austin that he would send me their mechanic's information and I could call to set up a time to take the car in. I called on May 6th and left a message for Austin. I called on May 7th and left a message for Austin. I called on May 8th and kept calling until I actually was able to talk to Austin (apparently he's the only one you can talk to about mechanical issues). He told me he would text me the mechanics information. Again I received no word back. I called on May 9th and left a voice message. I'm guessing they just want to sell their crap and never deal with you again. I'm posting this as a BUYER BEWARE. If they don't even have the decency to fix one trivial thing, something that wouldn't even cost them a cent. Obviously zero cares given by this place. All I was looking for was the mechanic to fix what he broke and for them to refer me to someone who could help with the evap system.

My daughter bought a vehicle from Steve and the following day discovered a significant coolant leak. She lives an hour away, so a local & reputable service center traced the leak to engine intake area. She immediately reached out to Steve who said he passed the information to the owner. Several more attempts were made to contact the owner Joe and when he finally answered was told "I've been in the business for 20 years; sometimes this happens", made clear he was unwilling to offer any resolution and began screaming into the phone. This stands as one of the most unprofessional, shameful and disgraceful reactions of a dealer owner I've ever known.

As most of the use car sale lots are, of course, they can get you a loan that is overboard on interest, then they lie and tell you in 6 months you can refinance, more lies, even if you pay on time the companies that they stick you with will not refinance your load or even give you a lower rate, rip off, con deals. Mad City gave my son in law approval if I co-signed, and I said OK, so they even drove to my house to have me sign the paperwork, then when they arrived, they wanted me to be the first buyer on the loan which they never ever told us about in the first place, he tried to refinance for years while paying the car off and he was trapped with GM Finacial! It was supposed to build his credit and it wasn't he had to fight to have it put on his credit as he was paying the loan off! I should have learned when I had got a loan from Russ Davis, years before. There needs to be a law, this is unjust and unfair, no credit or bad credit doesn't give these companies a right to steal! I will never, ever, ever buy a new used car or new off a lot, EVER! I will always buy used from a private party! Who needs all the BS!

AVOID this dealership at all costs, if you do decide to gamble and buy from Jeff's Northshore google the VIN number so you can see what auction they bought it from and for how much. I bought a 2018 chevy silverado and had numerous issued in the first month of owning. the won't fix unless I pay 100% of the cost. after I googled the VIN number I see they bought it from hansen auction group for $15k less than what I paid. the truck has serious issues...which is why they got it from an auction for so cheap....buyer beware!!!
