I'm back! I've doubled back because of another experience with Cannon Toyota of Vicksburg. My wife was on the market for a vehicle. Since Mr. Clay Crozier took care of my wife and I before, it only made sense to go right back to him. One of the things I admire about him is that he honors his word. He doesn't say one thing and do another, unless it is even better than what he originally stated. Another is that he is an efficient man; we didn't waste time getting to what we came to him for. Also, although we ended up coming to him sort of late, he was the last man standing and didn't gripe about the time even once. When he would be out of the office, he wasn't hard to reach and pointed us to the next in line so that the process wasn't held up when he was out on professional leave. The man knew the lot like the back of his hand in terms of what was there and what Canon had to offer in general. As I stated last time, I actually enjoyed purchasing a vehicle due to the experience this time around; I speak for the Mrs. when I say this much. My family has Clay in mind when it comes to getting right treatment, a patient-oriented process of buying a vehicle(s), and feeling confident about the choice we made. It is if Clay understood how important customer service was and he delivered like he knew it. I've already made several references to him for people on the market and I hope they go see him and see what I mean. Thanks again, Mr. Crozier!

They tell you anything to get you to purchase a car then won't live up to what they said. I purchased a car they said they would get me a second key. That was February 15,2024 it is now April 23,2024. They won't answer phone and when they do its I will call you back or give me a call back. They have yet called me back and I have called numerous times. Salesman won't answer. When call and talk to manager he ducks and says I will call you back or won't even answer when you call. I believe I am going to have to drive 2.5 hours to go see them to get this issue resolved

Two weeks ago I submitted a feedback form to Gray-Daniels Chevrolet on their website. They have yet to respond. Rather than re-type it all, I'm just going to copy and paste here my comments to them: I am writing to inform someone of some of the problems we have had with your dealership. My wife purchased a Yukon Denali from your dealership about a year ago. At the time, we were told the vehicle only had one key. I raised a question about being sent home with a "new to us" vehicle and only one key. We were told to file a lost key claim under the extended warranty and have it replaced that way. Seems a bit ridiculous, but that's what we did. Upon receiving the vehicle, it had not be cleaned and detailed. We had to bring it back another day for that. Then the alternator went out. We had an appointment to have that looked at and worked on, and dropped the vehicle off early one morning. At the end of the day, it had not even been looked at. What is the purpose of an appointment then? Which bring me to today, the final straw. A while back, GMC issued a recall on all of the engine models that this vehicle has. Initially, it was just a recall and GMC stated there was not a solution yet. A while later, we get a letter in the mail stating the remedy is an engine inspection, and to call our dealership to set up an appointment. Upon inspection, if there is no current engine damage, the vehicle will have an oil filter replacement and a new oil cap with a newly required oil grade to be put into the engine. We dropped the vehicle off a little before the appointment time (8:30am) this morning. Within 10 minutes, the service department called my wife and told her it could be picked up, because there was no remedy for this recall. When she told him that there was a letter stating what the remedy was, he pushed back, saying that a recall remedy had not been issued, and that GMC had only issued a general recall notice. I'm reading the remedy letter as I type this. So after me changing which work office I was going to be at today in order to facilitate drop off and pick up of her vehicle at Gray-Daniels (and us dealing with a fussy 2 yr old and a 2 month old who were along for the ride), we go back to the dealership and then she was told that "the parts required for the remedy are not in stock". First off, we were initially told there was no remedy. Now we are told the parts aren't in stock. How do you know which parts are needed if there has been no remedy issued? So has there been no remedy issued, or are the parts not in stock? Further, why was she allowed to make an appointment for this recall inspection if you are unable to do anything about it? I know a remedy has been issued; I'm reading the letter. So we were first lied to, then fed a xx story about parts not being in stock. Understood I don't know all the ins and outs, but according to the letter, it sounds like the only parts needed are an oil filter and an oil cap. So Gray-Daniels Chevrolet doesn't have these two common items in stock? Pitiful if so. Worse if this is just another lie. Needless to say, you have gotten the last business you will ever receive from us. It's been just one problem after another. I was hoping to send this to a general manager or service department manager. You have no email listed for anyone there. Granted, I could call, but this way I can remember all the points I wanted to bring up, and not forget them in the middle of a call. If anyone wants to call me back, I'd be happy to talk about it. Out-of-State Buyers Beware On 11/10/2024, I found a listing on Car Gurus for the car I wanted in my price range. On 11/11/2024, I called the dealership and spoke with a salesman who assured me they frequently ship cars out of state and would handle all title, registration, and fees for California. I agreed and was told they’d mail paperwork for me to sign. I received, notarized, and returned the paperwork on 11/14/2024. The dealership confirmed receipt on 11/15/2024 and had already received payment from my lender. I also paid the transportation fee in full. I expected the car to ship that Friday, but after follow-ups, I was told it was “up to the shipping company.” The car didn’t ship until 11/20/2024. During this delay, I was paying for a rental car. When the car arrived on 11/25/2024, I was horrified to find no paperwork, owner’s manual, temporary registration, or plates. My family worried the car might be stolen. Without the proper documentation, I couldn’t legally drive or register it, as the dealership had my registration fees, taxes, and the original title. I contacted the salesman, who said they’d overnight a “tryout tag.” It arrived as a handwritten piece of paper—not an official document. When I asked if the car was registered in California, the salesman claimed it was, though I received no temporary registration. Frustrated, I returned my rental car and drove my car with the “tryout tag.” On 12/01/2024, I was pulled over. The officer ran the VIN and confirmed the car wasn’t registered in Mississippi or California and warned he could impound it. He let me off with a fix-it ticket. I contacted the salesman again, but he insisted the officer was wrong. I demanded to speak with the Sales Manager. On 12/02/2024, Clarissa, the Sales Manager, finally called. She explained they use a third-party company for out-of-state registrations and that “additional steps” were needed. Shockingly, she expected me to walk her through the registration process, even asking for the DMV’s address so they could mail a check. When I asked for reimbursement for the rental car and the cost of the car while I couldn’t legally drive it, she refused and hung up after I mentioned involving a lawyer. Via email, Clarissa confirmed they’d send the necessary paperwork for me to register the car myself. The FedEx package arrived on 12/06/2024. However, the check was made out to a specific local DMV office instead of the California DMV, limiting me to one branch. I scheduled the first available appointment for 12/11/2024. After finally going to the DMV myself, the car was registered. This experience was a nightmare. The dealership’s lack of professionalism, poor communication, and mishandling of the process left me paying for a car I couldn’t legally drive while also covering rental car costs. To anyone considering an out-of-state purchase, ensure the dealership has a proven, reliable process in place. Learn from my mistake and avoid this dealership.

I've always heard that a dealership is no better than their service department. Anthony Doss in the service department is reason enough to do business with Acura of Jackson! Ask for him if you need to get your vehicle serviced. He's friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt with updates! The waiting area, has a TV room with a charging station, free snacks and beverages, last but not least, a children's play area.

I purchased a 2017 Chevy Malibu car from this dealership. While the car buying experience was decent. The car itself gave me issues after 2 days of purchasing it. I've been back to the dealership twice letting them know about my concerns. The car vibrates while driving. They didn't offer to trade the car in for another 1. They were made aware of my issues a couple of days after financing. I just wanted something reliable to drive. The minimum wasn't done to resolve the issue. They sold me a bad car and refused to fix the issue. This dealership doesn't care about customers satisfactory. The front desk salesmen who answer the phone are rude and arrogant. They knew it was a bad car when they sold it to me.
