I don't know why I have had so many problems buying my new car from Northside Lexus, since so many other people have had good experiences, but here is a brief summary of my still-on-going problems with No new car from Northside Lexus, since so many other people have had good experiences, but here is a brief summary of my still-on-going problems with Northside Lexus. NL dented the first car I had a deposit on a few hours before I was scheduled to sign documents. They repaired the dent at their body shop (which took close to a week) and wanted to go forward with my purchase of the car--why do they think it is acceptable to sell a damaged car as a new car (they didn't offer a discount, and I didn't ask for one). When the replacement car arrived, the purchase went smoothly ..... UNTIL they realized days later that several of the documents had mistakes and they insisted I had to re-sign those documents, and yet also repeatedly resisted giving me appropriate guarantees that the prior contract documents would be voided. After numerous emails, phone calls, text messages and 2 meetings--and my complete cooperation--the re-signing was completed. Then, several days after the re-signing, I was notified of yet another error, and another round of re-signing, and so on, and so on.... The latest problem--according to Northside Lexus, the interest rates went up since the date that I purchased the car, but Lexus told me that they are willing to do me the FAVOR of reducing the car's purchase price to offset the increased interest rate -- how is this a "favor" if Northside cause the problem in the first place?? I'm ready for them take the car back because instead of a happy new car buying experience, I'm upset every time I look at the car, and every time I get yet another email, phone call, or text message from Northside Lexus about the latest re-signing request. So, in summary, I think that Northside Lexus is probably a great dealership . . . . unless they make a mistake, and then your screwed. More
