However, the Service Dept who performed the final inspection failed to note a serious concern. After driving the car to my home only 3 miles away, I raised the hood & was shocked to discover torm insulation hanging from the hood & muddy material all kver the engine. Upon returning the vehicle to the Service Dept., I was told that they had a problem with raccoons getting into the cars on the parking lot. He replaced the insulation; however, I had to ask him to wash the mud off the engine. This major inconvenience was not anticipated for a new car purchase. I believe greater attention should be given to ensuring final service inspection checklist is accurate. More
