I made a Service appointment for my 2023 Buick Encore GX (purchased @ Weber Creve Coeur) for Diagnosis of a "Service Engine" light on 6/16, & the appointment was for 7/3 (soonest I could get it in...no big (purchased @ Weber Creve Coeur) for Diagnosis of a "Service Engine" light on 6/16, & the appointment was for 7/3 (soonest I could get it in...no big deal). I dropped the Vehicle off @ Weber on 7/2, & the following morning received a text with a link to track the progress of my Vehicle's Service appointment. All day it was in "Arrival" status, but I thought nothing of it, as if it's not being updated...that means my Tech is too busy working on my Vehicle to update. I called Thursday afternoon around 4:30-ish to get a progress report, at which time I was informed that my Vehicle had not even been looked at & wouldn't be until "mid to late Next Week." When I asked why the delay (even after making an appointment) I was told "that appointment just saves your place in line." It might be helpful in the future to put that little detail right out front to avoid any future upset. I'm fortunate in that we have an additional vehicle that can be used ('87 Corvette that I'm not too wild about putting a load of miles on), but not having a Vehicle that I'm currently making payments on for what could possibly 2 weeks is very inconvenient. I appreciate your quick attention/resolution to this matter. More
