I have nearly forty years of service here at Smythe Volvo. The complete level of comfort in knowing all the employees and customers very well is definitely the best part about working here. My favorite Volvo is the Cross Country Wagon. It's an AWD utility vehicle but still more like a car than a truck. It also has a good track record mechanically, performs and handles well. When I'm away from work, spending time with my family is my number one priority, especially with my two grandsons.

This is my fifth Volvo I purchased my first Volvo (1980 Station Wagon) shortly after the birth of our first daughter from Smythe Volvo. I have had three station wagons, one I purchased my first Volvo (1980 Station Wagon) shortly after the birth of our first daughter from Smythe Volvo. I have had three station wagons, one sedan and now my XC60. I have never had anything but excellent customer service from Smythe. Every Smythe employee whether in sales or service, is very knowledgeable, professional, courteous. Even the young man who set up my Volvo on Call over the phone was very helpful. More

2nd Volvo from Smythe in 3 weeks 3 weeks prior, we leased a 2018 xc60 from Bob Cerza at Smythe. A great experience with no sales pressure. Since it went so well, we decided to upgra 3 weeks prior, we leased a 2018 xc60 from Bob Cerza at Smythe. A great experience with no sales pressure. Since it went so well, we decided to upgrade our second car to a 2013 xc60 with 35.5k miles. Again no pressure. A great experience both times. A special thank you to all involved which included Kevin Flanagan, PJ Lee, Bob Cerza, Dennis Jeffers and Doug Macadam- as well as others in pre-owned sales and finance. Great Service from the Service Dept Though Part Prices High I cracked the rim on my wife's XC90....slid sideways into a curb at estimated 8 mph and literally cracked the aluminum rim. The rim was on back order (3 week expected wait) and Doug somehow found a loaner rim so we wouldn't be stuck using the small spare. Given its my wife car and we have 2 young kids, I did not want her driving on the spare for any considerable time. Doug went above and beyond to find a solution. On the negative side, and this is directed to Volvo the parent, the cost of the rim is absolutely ridiculous. $850 or so with tax. Doug kindly explained this is MSRP. I kindly explained that its highway robbery. I found the rim on a website for $300, though this does not include the tire pressure sensor. We will be discussing the ultimate price shortly. I am sure that Volvo is mandating the price to Smythe, but it still doesn't make this right. More

Lifesaver I own a 2012 XC60. Needless to say....never had the battery changed and today was the day it decided to crap,out. At 4pm no less. With a couple of I own a 2012 XC60. Needless to say....never had the battery changed and today was the day it decided to crap,out. At 4pm no less. With a couple of prayers and persistence I got it to start. Called and spoke to Doug Mac Adam. He graciously told me to come in even though I live in Bridgewater and that he would get a Tech to stay and check to see if it was indeed the battery and possibly replace. Thank you Doug and Casey for your compassion and promptness in fixing my car. A battery was what it needed. Thanks again for making my day. More
