I have nearly forty years of service here at Smythe Volvo. The complete level of comfort in knowing all the employees and customers very well is definitely the best part about working here. My favorite Volvo is the Cross Country Wagon. It's an AWD utility vehicle but still more like a car than a truck. It also has a good track record mechanically, performs and handles well. When I'm away from work, spending time with my family is my number one priority, especially with my two grandsons.

On my visit on 11/7/2025, I brought my car in to have the right front inner door handle replaced. While I was there, I voiced my concerns regarding the windshield washer sprays. The washer sprays were not right front inner door handle replaced. While I was there, I voiced my concerns regarding the windshield washer sprays. The washer sprays were not effective in spraying the washer fluid onto the windshield properly. It turned out that the washer valves were leaking therefore they had to be replaced, and the windshield washer sprays are working properly now. I am satisfied with both jobs that were performed. I would like very much to mention the fantastic treatment from the service advisor, Doug MacAdam. I have dealt with him for quite a while now, and each time, he has been outstanding. His demeanor is always pleasant and professional. I appreciate the fact that he is patient in listening to any concerns I present to him about my car, and he addresses them accordingly. Finally, I like it when he thoroughly explains the type of work that was done. Yes, I am aware that the dealership sends messages to update me of what needs to be done, but I like to hear it as well. To reiterate, I am satisfied with the work on my car and with Doug's' kind nature. More
