I had a disappointing experience with Big Star Cadillac, specifically with the salesperson, Victor Rivas, while attempting to purchase a 2025 Escalade V. I preordered this vehicle a year ago with a clear ag specifically with the salesperson, Victor Rivas, while attempting to purchase a 2025 Escalade V. I preordered this vehicle a year ago with a clear agreement that it would be sold to me at the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP). However, upon arrival at the dealership to finalize the purchase, the scenario drastically changed. The team informed me that the vehicle was ready and initially seemed to honor the agreed MSRP. However, they then added $9,000 in "dealer options," effectively raising the price well over the promised sticker price. This approach felt misleading, as these added costs were not disclosed upfront and seemed to contradict the initial agreement. Additionally, the valuation provided for my trade-in was $20,000 less than expected, which further diminished my trust in their business practices. During this process, I was also asked to place a $25,000 deposit on the vehicle, a detail not mentioned during the preorder phase. To add to the confusion, Kevin, the Sales Manager, later contacted me stating that they have never sold an Escalade V at sticker price, contradicting the assurances given by his sales team earlier. Furthermore, if a dealership discloses what you paid for a vehicle to another customer without your consent, it may be violating privacy laws that protect personal information. In the United States, such disclosures could be considered a violation of Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regulations, state consumer protection laws, and potentially a contractual breach if privacy terms were agreed upon. This experience highlighted a clear case of the dealership overselling their product while severely underdelivering, lacking transparency and honesty in their dealings. I cannot recommend Big Star Cadillac based on this experience, as the trust I placed in them during the preorder was not respected, and the purchasing process was far from transparent. More

The salesman, George Castillo, was awesome. Very, very helpful. In fact, every person I met and worked with was very nice and professional. They did what they said. No muss, no fuss. My only beef about the process was the $4500 of add-ons (Plad Tech and some sort of "protectant"). That is probably 3x the non-negotiable add-ons I've experienced at any other dealership. BUT, they've got an incredible selection and I expect to shop there again! More
