I came into the Ventura Toyota Dealership today to service my Toyota Rav4 and while there I stopped in to say hi to Luis Martinez. Luis has assisted me in the leasing of 6 cars over several years and service my Toyota Rav4 and while there I stopped in to say hi to Luis Martinez. Luis has assisted me in the leasing of 6 cars over several years and I have had the privilege of getting to know him during those times. He relates in such a clear and honest manner - I truly value him as a person and I trust his skills/knowledge about cars, purchases, leases, etc. When I asked Luis if there was any way of lowering my payments on the 2 Rav4's that I leased over a year ago, he began to pick my brain as to my needs (the why's and wherefore's) - and then walked away. He came back with news of 2 2014 Camry's my wife and I could lease that would in fact lower my payments. Then he began to get creative with financing toward that goal. Along with his General Manager, Steve M and Financial Manager, Marion Swain, Luis teamed collected his team to create a package that could work, that would put my wife and I into those 2 Camry's within just a few hours. I trust Luis - he is ethical and honest with me - always has been. After sharing all the pros and cons with him, I followed his lead and now find myself very happy with the choice. There are few businessmen, people for that matter, with the integrity I feel he holds. I just thought it would be good to share this positive and friendly experience. Thanks Luis - our son will be back to see you soon. P.S. Before we left Luis took the time to set up our bluetooth for our phones, our radio stations, Pandora, Address Books, gave instruction, had our specialty plates transferred... More

If it wasn't for Sales Associate Luis Martinez, I would never come back to Ventura Toyota. I purchased a 2014 Scion tC Ten Series and couldn't be more happy about my purchase. This is the fourth ca would never come back to Ventura Toyota. I purchased a 2014 Scion tC Ten Series and couldn't be more happy about my purchase. This is the fourth car that my family has purchased from Ventura Toyota in the past 4 years, specifically with the help of Luis. Luis is honest, hardworking and puts customer service at the forefront of the car buying experience. Finance Director Marion Swain was also a pleasure to work with and had me in/out of the required paperwork in no time at all. If it wasn't for these fantastic employees, I would probably never come to Ventura Toyota. The only reason I gave the "over all" experience a 4 instead of a 5 was due to the poor customer service of a sales manager, Chris Pack. Although Chris was somewhat helpful on my second time into the dealership, I was very dissatisfied with his lack of knowledge with the Scion products. I am a customer who was looking for a particular tC model that was part of the 2014 release series. I wanted a manual transmission, but was told by Chris these models ONLY came in automatic. I stated I had seen the model I wanted in a manual transmission at another dealership and on the Scion website, but was still met with an argumentative response from the sales manager. Instead of researching and calling the nearby dealership that I saw the manual transmission model, I was shut down and told the car didn't exist. In a normal situation, I would have left Ventura Toyota and gone to the dealership that had the car I wanted. Even when the sales associates showed the sales manager the Scion website, specifically stating the model I wanted came in a manual transmission, I still received no acknowledgement that my claim was valid. I find it very disappointing that a customer knows the products and trim specifications of vehicle models BETTER than the new car sales manager. If you decide you're in market for a new Toyota or Scion, I'd highly recommend asking for Luis to guide you through the process. We've referred three other friends and coworkers who also purchased from Ventura Toyota. More

Luis was great! He wasn't pushy or asked to many 'Why' questions when I submitted my offer. He took my offer and without questions and came back with and answer. Luis Martinez was the salesman who showed us around and he was absolutely amazing and no pressure to purchase. He listened to our situation, needs and explained our options. We never felt rushed and he too he was absolutely amazing and no pressure to purchase. He listened to our situation, needs and explained our options. We never felt rushed and he took the time to show us the different models that could feel our needs that were within our budget. He encouraged questions and when we asked them gave us information that we were able to use in making our decision. We ended up purchasing a Camry. After we had made the decision to purchase we sat down with Jackie Sanchez in financing where she went through the process of explained the paperwork that we needed to sign in order to make the car purchase. She was very detained with her explanations and of course gave us additional options of additional items that we could purchase with our car. Normally this is where I expect a hard sell but again no pressure to add anything else. We ended up adding one additional options I did ask a number of questions during the paperwork process and appreciated getting detailed answers that actually were straight to the point of answered my question. After the paperwork was completely Luis was back again going thru the car again making sure that we were comfortable with the different controls of the car. He also took us to the service department and introduced us to a couple members of that department. He made sure we had one of his business cards and told us not to hesitate to contact him if we had any additional questions. Car shopping is normally not a experience that I enjoy but this truly was a nice experience. I will need to replace my 2000 Toyota Sienna (187,000 miles) in the near future and Ventura Toyota will get another visit from my wife and I. More

I am 68 and have purchased many cars in my lifetime and although it is always nice to get a new car, I dread the buying process which is generally protracted. We have purchased 5 vehicles from Ventura Toyota, 2 used and 3 new and would not purchase from another dealership. We met Luis Martinez on May 24 when I purchased a new Prius--personable, knowledgeable, an and 3 new and would not purchase from another dealership. We met Luis Martinez on May 24 when I purchased a new Prius--personable, knowledgeable, an all around great person to work with. We have since purchased a 2014 Tacoma from him and I went with a girlfriend who purchased a 2013 Camry; I will not purchase another vehicle from anyone but Luis. I never felt pressured or like I was being dealt with as "the little woman." He is just a warm and delightful human being who also is a great car salesman. More
