My suggestion: Run, do not walk to Brewster Subaru. I was a 10+ year dedicated customer with a competitive Subaru dealership. After a few disappointing experiences with THAT dealership I was on the hunt for a more honest and reliable dealer, especially since I was planning on buying a new Legacy this summer. After reaching out to 4 other dealerships, via email, including 2 other Subaru dealers, Brewster Subaru was the only one that expressed a desire to work with me. I struck gold when I reached out to Brewster Subaru. The professionalism, blew me away from the start. No pressure and a willingness to listen. My salesperson Andre gets an 11 out of 10. Rich Johnson, the finance guy, gets the same. I bought a new 2024 Legacy that they were able to work into my budget, in a no hassle sytraight65 forward, no gimmicks environment. Met everyone from my service advisor to service manager to general manager. If you are in the market for a Subaru, Brewster Subaru should be the first stop on yiur search. I guarantee it will be worth the trip. More

What a difference! In all the years I've bought cars at dealerships (big and small), this was the first pleasant and most painless experience I've ever had. Every s In all the years I've bought cars at dealerships (big and small), this was the first pleasant and most painless experience I've ever had. Every single person I came in contact with (receptionist, sales manager, general manager, salesman, parts manager, business manager, etc) was pleasant, patient, knowledgeable and transparent. At no point did I feel pressured or misled. Such as stark contrast from other dealerships in which I'm used to walking in on the defensive and wary of being ripped off. Not here. Towards the end, I felt more like I was hanging out with them rather than doing a major purchase. Honestly, they treat costumers the way they'd like to be treated. That was on the people side. As for the car itself, that was as much of a gem as the staff... It was a 2021 Forester Certified Pre-Owned in mint condition! I work on my own cars so I inspected it thoroughly...for rust, worn belts, leaking gaskets, etc. Not only was everything working as it should, but Brewster Subaru had already done the work to the car (in order to qualify as a CPO) that I was prepared to do myself. Yes, I ended up spending more than I had budgeted, but ended up with a much better car and added peace of mind. Not only am I and my wife very satisfied with our purchase, but I'm now going to start bringing my other (older) Subaru for service--even though I live in Queens and there are closer dealerships to me. I am in no way affiliated to this dealership. My review is genuine. Do yourselves a favor and go here first!
