My five star review is for the used car center. I had an excellent experience with Tristan Donelson at the used car center at Phil Long Ford. Tristan was pleasant and knowledgable. My situation was a little unique and Tristan was very accomodating. The manager at the used car center was also very friendly and great to work with. Unfortunately, my experience with Patrick in finance at the main Phil Long building was below average and would only rate 1 out of 5 stars. I waited 40 minutes for Patrick to prepare the paperwork for my purchase. I did not have loan papers to fill out and there were no other customers in front of me. Patrick called me into his office and insisted I close the door even though the building was essentially empty. His office did not have good ventilation and there was no air purifier (Covid 2021). During my conversation with Patrick he did not wear his mask properly and coughed several times without covering his mouth. He also neglected to give me an emissions voucher which is required by law. More

This was our first time buying a car at this particular dealership. We worked with Morgan and Jim. They made the whole process so seamless. We had to come back a second day because the vehicle we wanted wa dealership. We worked with Morgan and Jim. They made the whole process so seamless. We were working with our local dealership to no avail, I wasn't happy with the inventory nor the service. After reaching out to Phil Long Ford and having Aaron as my salesperson I knew I was headed to the right place. After finalizing the details and them actually acquiring the vehicle I wanted from another dealer, went absolutely way above and beyond my expectations. We made the 2 hour ride and it was worth every minute. Usually the salespeople have my back against the finance manager to fight for the deal we want, that wasn't the case at Phil Long. Patrick was so professional and transparent it kind of blew my mind. He wasn't pushy with the add-ons at all, just made mere suggestions as to what makes sense for us which led us to purchase the windshield protection package. He had the paper work drawn up and ready to sign, we were in and out start to finish in about 1-2 hours even with the test drive. By far the quickest and smoothest transaction I've ever done, my research led me to believe Phil Long Ford is the best dealership in the state and guess what? I found out 100% they absolutely are! The Hype is Real!! More

The finance manager on the other hand not so much. I had to get ahold of him after screwing up some documents and I was told to resubmit and I would be told if everything was approved. A few days to a week went by and didn’t hear anything. It’s sad that I had to get ahold of the finance manager to make sure the bank finalized everything and that I was taken care of. Over all my experience was not bad and this is a good place to buy a car from. More
