My coworkers and I don’t just sell cars, we build meaningful relationships with our customers. I have been the Honda sales manager at Don Ayres since November 1999 and before that I was in sales for 3 years. My father sold Honda's here for over 20 years, so it is really a family affair. I've been married to my beautiful wife Kara since 2004. We have 2 awesome children, Caleb and Savannah. We have lived in the Fort Wayne area all of our lives and enjoy going to Hamilton lake and spending time with family.

I test drove three different vehicles before I fell in love with the last vehicle. Brandon was very patient with me during the process. He made sure that all my needs and wants were met. I have been a customer of Don Ayres since 1990. My very first salesman was my dad, David Skelly. He knew the business and how to treat customers. He walked me through every process it came to when buying a car and explained everything. I never wanted to have to deal with any other salesman there but when he passed away, I needed to find someone else I could trust. I still wanted to continue to but Honda vehicles and it was only fitting that I continued my business at Don Ayres. I found that trust in Rick Kruger. He stepped in my father's shoes and became my new salesman. The transition to a new salesman was seamless. The cultural at Don Ayres when my father was there working for Mr. Ayres is the same now under his daughter, Sara Ayres. They focus on the needs of the consumer and ensure that their experience is excellent. They ensure that the customer is very satisfied with their new purchase. This is why I chose and will continue to choose Don Ayres for all my automotive needs. Rick Kruger was extremely helpful and understood my needs to buy a new vehicle. He walked me through the process step by step and made sure I understood everything that was transpiring. His sense of humor made our time more enjoyable. The only draw back was when it was all said and done, he took my picture. I hate having my picture taken. lol! His follow up care was exceptionally professional and made sure that I was happy with my purchase. He took really good care of us and that is the sign of a great car salesman. I go back to my first Pontiac Ventura Don Ayres himself sold me in 1972. Had great service with Doug Settle then and still today. The Mechanics Jimmy and Dave are still there and that says something. When my Daughter was ready to buy he first car I called Dons Daughter Sara and she got us taken care of with her 2011 Accord( which she still drives) and We also purchased our 2013 CRV which we still are driving. Between Jeremy Sullivan. Doug Settle and Kevin Cappelli we get taken care of. I need to mention also Rick Squires in management and Pete Ort and Tony Vincent in service.
