I recently took delivery of a Rav 4 Hybrid--an awesome value for the dollar--and am thoroughly enjoying it. But what makes this event stand out is the incomparable service I have received from each and every dealership representative I have had contact with. Devon Delany took the time and care to really understand my transportation needs. The, joining with Finance manager Frank Pratts, they put together a compelling package. Not only did they come in with highly competitive price and terms, but they helped me understand how the transaction as structured would benefit me on a tax/cash flow basis. After purchase, I had occasion to stop by service not to fix anything but to be better educated in some of the more unusual features of the car. Each time the service manager and several technicians threw themselves totally into the job,sparing no time or attention. Then,I stopped by parts to purchase some accessories and the parts reps went out of their way to see that I left right then with what I had stopped in for. I have never yet walked into this dealership without receiving not simply a friendly hello but an earnest question of how they could help. This includes from the Sales manager as well as the Janitor.If you are thinking of purchasing a car from a dealership, Colonial Toyota must be your first and last stop.

About a year ago we realized we would need a new car to replace our high mileage SUV.
We started checking with friends, the Internet and magazine articles including Consumer Reports.
We favored the technology of the Prius using gasoline to charge its traction battery.
Regenerative charging of battery upon slowing and braking is also very important.
Greentree Toyota had the car we wanted at the right price.
It's a 2016 (new) 4-door Prius V that seats 5 people and still has plenty of luggage space.

I went in to have a few repairs and was greeted right away. Mike listened to all the things I needed done and he made sure all things where taken care of properly. When the suv was returned to me all the items seem to be great and running like new. Not only did he find me a great vehicle, but he makes sure you are getting value for you money. He personally managed my purchase right through to making sure I even had spare keys. As well a a full tank!!
You would have thought I was buying a new 2017 model. Doesn't seem to matter to TEE. Tee And David also made sure I got the best trade in value.

The salesperson and sale manager were good with the car purchase but the service afterwards is unsatisfactory. The finance manager Anthony Capolupo tried hard to sell me the extended warranty and claimed it was fully refundable within 30 days. So I bought it on spot buy decided to cancel it the next day when I found out it was grossly overpriced. I went to the dealership and did the paper work right away. I also checked with him a week later to be sure the cancellation was filed. Three weeks went by, no refund was received and I had to call TOYOTA myself to find out what is going on and guess what they never received a cancellation request. The worse thing is TOYOTA said they could not refund the full amount. I called Anthony to ask him to rectify the situation and he just gave the runaround without taking any responsibilities.
Think twice before you make a purchase there, you will not be treated the same once money is out of your pocket. Do not trust whatever they said, request everything in writing with a signature.

I went to a different dealer and waited 45 min. and no one came out to help me . I went to Charles Toyota in Norwich ct. they came out right away and everyone in there said Hi to me as they walked by and by when I left and asked if they could get me anything to drink. Very outstanding dealer ship

Unfortunately this dealer failed to fix a relatively simple problem with defective tires on a brand new truck and even erroneously charged me. They were given the opportunity twice but failed, wasting my time. I had the problem accurately troubleshot and resolved at another dealer in Hartford with no hassles. Toyota of Colchester has not earned my business and I will not be back.
