He was respectful of our needs and preferences in buying a car, and made appropriate suggestions that fit our needs. He was very enthusiastic and genuine in his approach and never pushy. He was also patient with our decision making process. Our experience with other sales consultants (in other dealerships) so far has been the exact opposite so we were very pleased to have met Randall and we look forward to working with him in the future.

I have not yet been able to use their service center since we just bought the 2016 Honda Fit yesterday, but the overall experience of working with the internet/online rep, James was pretty painless. No hype, no phone calls I didn't want, just responses to my questions. It was nice to be able to buy/stay local (this is about 5 miles from my house). And unlike other Salesmen I have dealt with in the past from different Toyota dealers, there were no surprises when we finally negotiated a price and I went in to buy. James even installed some floor mats that I bought afterwards (sure it wasn't a lot of work, but he didn't have to do it). James already had all the paperwork ready to go so we were in and out in less than 2 hours...even with vehicle prep.
Worked the finance stuff with Chris Luebbers (again, no surprises and he even remembered to add in my $500 from AFHC toward the down payment). Overall, I can't complain and the price seems fair. I will let you know how my first service visit goes.
Only nitpick was under the hood. Was a bit dirty and dusty, but after a few minutes in my garage I had it shining.

Bought a '13 crv today. Found the place because they were offering at a fantastic price. Very busy Saturday. Salesman trying to balance three people at once ( even though we had an appointment.) Took one hour to find out if a different car was certified. No one could answer. Never did find out! Check-out process was quite slow. Took 45 minutes to learn the loan rate and payment info. If the deal hadn't been so good we most certainly would have left. Too many people involved, all very nice, but they need to figure out how to work together MORE EFFICIENTLY. Five hours later.. great car, great price, lousy experience.

Tldr: if you're getting a new car like me, go see Tony at Castle Honda because he's both incredibly knowledgeable and hilarious.
As the title suggests, this was the very first time I had ever gone through the process of purchasing a vehicle. I can honestly say that up until Castle Honda the experience had been slow and not worth talking about.
Then I met Tony. I could not have been more happy with my entire experience when I walked away. Tony walked me through every step of the way and more importantly he was incredibly personable and hilarious. He made me laugh, which yes is a good sales pitch, but it was never distracting. We joked but still focused on my concerns and questions. He walked me through all of questions, which there was a lot of. Tony went above and beyond to do everything he could to get me as much as possible with my purchase.
When it comes down to it. I would personally recommend working with Tony if you're interested, or even beginning to look, in getting yourself a Honda. Or maybe something else, I don't know, Tony works magic.
Skeptical at first but it was a GREAT experience to buy NEW - et1992
I admit I was a little skeptical prior to coming to this Honda dealership due to all the negative ratings (those were mostly related to trade in/used vehicles). But I recently bought a new 2016 Honda CR-V through an online sales consultant Jessica N. she was wonderful and emailed me back w/n 24 hours and was very patient and informative with my phone calls and questions. I had a great experience when I went into the store Ash the sales consultant took very good care of me and my significant other. Jessica gave me an out-the-door price and within 5 minutes of me walking in they had paperwork printed that matched my online quote with Jessica's. John handled financing and was very thorough throughout the process and explained every step of the way. Overall, it was a great experience to purchase a new car. Not to mention the PRICE was definitely right and the best quote I could find in Illinois. No dealership would come down from in price by a penny.

First of all let me say in my 65 years I have bought many cars, from many different dealerships across the United States. I first bought a car from McGrath Honda a few years ago. My sales pro as I will call him listen to what I was looking for found the exact vehicle that I was looking for at the price I was looking for. His name is Anthony. He was not pushy he didn't try to sell me something I didn't want and really was concerned that I get the car I was looking for. I will never buy another car from any other dealership unless Anthony goes to another dealership. In addition to the great great service I got from Anthony I had a couple issues with my car with the brakes and had to take it to service. The service department is outstanding as well they took care of my issue and was very good about getting me back to work. The two men I worked with in service is Ray and Jerry. Ray made sure all the repairs went smooth. I had a couple scratches on the back of my vehicle so I got the paint and then Jerry came out and and painted it for me probably much better than I would so, I really appreciate Anthony, Ray, and Jerry. If you're looking to buy a vehicle I highly suggest you check out McGrath Honda of Elgin and see Anthony in sales and if you ever need service go see Ray or Jerry.

Communication Issues with Customers - Dianne
The best person to work with at this dealership was Stephan, our salesman. He was professional, friendly, had a positive attitude, and offered to help us in any way he could. The out-of-state purchase resulted in our buying a very fine 2014 used Honda Pilot. Two issues: (1) There was no owner's manual, and they had no interest in making sure we had one. Yes, I can buy one on eBay for $30, and that's what I would have done if I had been the manager at the dealership! The communication issue is that they never told us there wasn't one, probably didn't know, and did not respond to the first three calls we made about it. Finally, they said they had one, but it's more like a pamphlet, and they were sending it right away. When it arrived, it was indeed a pamphlet, or a leaflet . . . an advertisement piece features the various Honda models. That's all. (2) The other was also a communication issue. They could have told us it would take three weeks out of four to receive the out-of-state paperwork in order to license the vehicle. With 30 days to get the license, and with my plans to be out of state the fourth week, this was definitely an issue. If they could have at least communicated to me what the expectations are, I wouldn't have stressed about it. By the time I received the title, I had one morning to get my license paperwork on the day I had to leave town. I would have appreciated a clean car when we arrived at the dealership too, since they knew the day before we were arriving from out of state by noon on the day we purchased it. The good thing is that I bought a great vehicle, and when I get my owner's manual (which I had to buy on eBay), I'll finally be able to figure out how to use the navigation and other systems.

friendly and accommodating. He very thoroughly explained all the new functions offered by the vehicle and helped us program in our personal preferences. For senior citizens, that's a nice feeling when you're not familiar with all the newest vehicle options.
