This is the second vehicle we've purchased from Zimmerman since moving to Michigan. almost 7 years ago our jobs moved from RIA to Michigan. The Honda dealers in Michigan believe they are doing you a favor by selling you a car. Zimmerman/Louis Arango are totally the opposite. Louis was courteous and informative. He made me/us an excellent deal over the phone and stuck to it when we arrived. The vehicle was ready as promised and luis went through the vehicle and owners manual to make sure we understood all the vehicle features. We are looking to purchase a Honda oddessy in a couple years and will most definitely return to zimmermans/luis arango.

I called the dealership and spoke to Oren Ferguson and told him I was looking at the 2017 CR-V. I told him what my price range was and when I went in, he had one that met my specifications and he then located the color that I wanted. This is the 4th vehicle my family has purchased from Honda of Joliet and from Oren Ferguson and have had the absolute best car buying experience (Thanks to Oren). Not one but of pressure to buy.

We brought our 2007 Honda CRV to Motor Werks for its 100,000 mile tune-up and dealt with Michael in the service dept. who is great-- very polite and clear about what to expect. We decided to go upstairs to look at the new cars and walked through the cleanest auto service work zone I have ever seen! Upstairs, we investigated the new CRV, talked with Jae about some of the new features, and went for a test drive with Atif who knew alot about the car. Following that, we were introduced to Zach who was very easy to work with, in addition to being very knowledgeable. Two days later, we purchased a new CRV with Zach's help, the 3rd CRV we've owned. At every step, I felt comfortable and respected by all the Motor Werks employees we met. We did not intend to purchase a new car, but we are very happy we did. We love the car, and highly recommend visiting Motor Werks for servicing your vehicles or making an auto purchase.

My car was making noises when it started. They replaced the starter, but the next day the noise was still there. When I called in, Mike re-assessed the problem and told me to bring it back. Julie was also amazing. They fixed the problem, figured out it was still in warranty, credited me for the unnecessary starter and called to make sure all was okay a few days later, I will continue to take my car here for all service.

I was summoned to the dealership by my friend and long time customer, James Barrow. Upon my arrival, I was greeted and welcomed by Gerald Griffin. Unbeknownst to me, James had laid the ground work for me to get a new car. While test driving my soon to be automobile, Gerald offered practical and important information. He anticipated my questions and offered answers before I could ask them. He was very knowledgeable about the product and was not pushy. After I made my decision, Gerald made the process so much smoother and easier to traverse. Gerald was extremely thorough, making sure the windows were fingerprint free, the keys worked, and the plates where taken off my old car. The only negative comment I can make is that it takes TOO long. It seems like most of the time is spent just sitting and waiting! It should be a more efficient process. If it were easier, more people would come in to buy. No one wants to spend 5 hours to buy a car!

I'm a Costco and Sam's Club member, started shopping around for the best deal back in September 2016, got many great offers/quotes through their auto buying programs. I presented these to Carolina Waluszko at Honda City and she beat the competition (Community Honda, Continental Honda and, McGrath Honda). Throughout the years I've bought 4 brand new cars at different car dealers and before buying this last one (2017 Pilot) I visited 3 other dealers. I'm never coming back to 2 of those and the best service and best experience and best treatment was with Carolina Waluszko at Honda City. Honest! Efficient! Not pushy at all like almost every car salesperson out there. She had to find my new car at another dealer, I waited for a few weeks, Carolina provided updates periodically and made me feel I was her only customer. Timely and respectful responses via email every time! Fulfilled our deal to the dot and even got me an extended Platinum warranty for 8yrs/100,000 miles at a super cheap price $16/month (I know I might not need to use this warranty but what if I do???). Car arrived yesterday 04/11 and she had ordered the running boards with lights before that and had them installed the same day... she promised the car for the 15th and had it ready, washed and gassed up 4 days earlier!!! How's that for EXCELLENT service!!! Will come back to Honda City ONLY if Carolina still works there. She makes Honda City look really really good!

We went in to lease a new civic.They agreed to honour a quote from a competitor dealer and told us to come and that the quote would be honored. We spent 2 hours, did all the paper work,test drove, asked and made sure we were on page with our quote (ran the credit) and at the very end they stated they cant give the car for the quote we had and offered a price higher than any other dealer we asked. Finance person Shiraaz was worse than a slacky used car salesman. We didnot agree to his pathetic counter-offer (again higher than anyother dealership) and at my defense i only claimed why they agreed to match a quote from elsewhere and call us in (have email and voicemail proof) when they clearly couldnt and his response to that and i quote "this is what happens when people like you bring in fake quotes". This utterly shrewed and disrespectful employee is a disgrace working at Mcgrath. It felt no less than being at a crappy dealership where customers and respect dont matter but whatever it takes to sell does, and if you cant close the sale, treat the customer like crap. Extremely disappointed. I own an acrua from mcgrath acura westmont and never have i ever been treated with such rudeness and disrespect, that always made me believe the name mcgrath honda and acura distinguish themselves from other dealers due to their sincerity and courtesy towards their customers,but Shiraaz definitely made me rethink the trust i had in this dealership and its counterparts. I would pay a higher price anywhere else than purchase or step foot in that dealership
New vehicle purchase - Average experience - Tioga
During my recent vehicle purchase at Honda of Champaign, the sales staff and sales manager were friendly and honest. They accommodated my needs and special requests. Communication and attentiveness were excellent.
I was misled by the service adviser whose stated that I would need to purchase and install the trailer wiring separately. Further research on my own by consulting the Honda press release, and confirmation by a different Honda dealer, proved that the wiring would already be on the vehicle when delivered since it was the AWD model.
The buying experience was good up to that point, but then went sour during the meeting with the business manager. I wished he would have asked a simple question up front, "Are you interested in purchasing an extended warranty or service contract?" It would have saved me a great deal of time and anxiety. Instead, I got a drawn out sales pitch for additional warranty products that I found to be quite annoying.
There was a paint flaw on the new vehicle that was missed during the prep, but it was remedied by the service department before I left the dealership.
The amount offered to me for my trade-in was about one third of the NADA average trade-in value, so naturally I declined.
The dealership staff asked me in person and then in a subsequent email to give them 100% or 5 star review ratings. I find this to be presumptuous, and I wonder if this practice taints some of the dealer ratings in general.
Overall, I can recommend Honda of Champaign, but there were several minor issues that made it less than a perfect experience.

I have been coming to Napleton's Loves Park for all my service on the two Honda's I have purchased from Napleton's, a 2001 Accord, which I purchased new and had for 14 years, and my new Accord Sport 2016, which I purchased new in February of 2016. I have always dealt with Russ Burkart in service and have had excellent experiences whenever I come in for timely maintenance performed on my auto. Russ is the best to answer any questions I have had about any concerns when I call or come in. He is always very friendly and knowledgeable about everything and wonderful to deal with.

I am giving this dealer 4 stars because of my experience with their salesman, Matt. Unfortunately, I ended up walking away from the deal for financial reason. First off, I think this dealer truly is a no pressure dealer. Throughout my interactions w/ Matt, I never felt any pressure into buying a car there. If anything, I wanted to buy a car because of Matt. He was extremely patience with me..through all the multiple phone calls, through all the crazy texting, and being flexible w/ my constant back and forth about the car of the car. He was a champ. He smiled and laughed ....despite me changing my mind like a gazillion time. I especially liked that Matt didn't try to push unnecessary add-ons or maintenance package.
I am taking 1 star off because the financing program in my opinion isn't that great. I was looking for a 2017 Honda CRV EX model...I was told that for someone w/ a credit score of 750+, the interest would be 4%. In my opinion, that's ridiculously high.

I purchased a new Accord in May 2016. The sales experience was fine with little problem. On December 27, I brought my car in for it' first service. I received a service date and time confirmation by email. The confirmation listed the recommended service including an oil change, tire rotation and fluid check with an estimated cost of $29.95. When I arrived, I was informed that the service would cost $79.95 and that the tire rotation alone cost $39.95. I questioned the quoted "estimated" cost stated in my service confirmation. The sales manager kept asking me for a coupon. I did not have a coupon but I did have the confirmation. After much wrangling, the manager honored the "estimated" cost from my email. I was told that the service would take around 90 minutes. I provided my cell number and asked that I be called when the service was completed. I never received a call and returned some time later to get my car. While driving home, the tire pressure sensors turned on indicating possible low tire pressure. I turned around to return to Planet Honda. On the way, I pulled over and checked the sensor settings and found that the settings were never recalibrate after the tire rotation. Luckily, I knew how to reset the calibration settings.
To make a long story short, I would not advise any Honda owner to use the service department at Planet Honda. They utilize deceitful pricing tactics and are negligent in completing work in a satisfactory manner.
