When one of our cars suddenly died, we were forced to consider buying a new one. We shopped on the Internet and I really liked the Honda Civic. I put in an inquiry online. I was promptly contacted by Marty, who set us up an appointment to come in and test drive one. Marty let us drive the car, explaining all the great features as we went. I wanted to see and compare additional units which Marty did. My husband and I chose to go for the new Civic Hatchback. Marty got us a good price and Blake was able to find us financing that we could afford. Marty demonstrated all the great features, programmed our settings and linked our cellphones. We were able to go home in our new car the same day! I love my new car. The mileage is great and we have received my compliments on how nice it looks. Marty was friendly and knowledgeable and made the whole experience super fun and easy.

I took my Ridgeline in for the airbag recall. The service manager Mark was the one who greeted me and handled my paperwork. I was in and out quick. The had the repair done sooner than promised and they let me use a loaner free of charge. All in all very pleasant and easy to deal with. I normally service my Honda's with a smaller independent shop but I will use Honda of Joliet again.

It's been a very long time since I have purchased a new car and I was very nervous for a variety of reasons. I called ahead and had an appointment set up with Rashad. We talked about what my wants and needs were, what I liked and disliked about my current car and what car I was interested in. We were able to test drive it right away. He was very knowledgeable about the car and all of the options. I was very impressed. I was apprehensive about going to Motor Werks just because it seemed a little intimidating to me! I drove a 2016 CRV EX at Continental Honda, and liked how it handled and looked. I wanted one in silver with black interior but they did not have one on the lot. Terry Scudieri said he would have one brought in for me, and he had the car there the next day. Then I changed my mind, because I was not sure if I wanted to buy a car. Terry was very patient and understanding! A few days later, I changed my mind again, and told Terry I wanted to drive a 2017, too. Terry answered all my questions, and understood again, that I needed more time to decide. Now that I am older, it is hard to make decisions, my GMC van is 16 years old, and is the last new car I bought. I finally bought a 2017 CRV EX, and I love it! If you need a sales person who is knowledgeable, and has tons of patience, ask for Terry Scudieri!

I emailed Scott yesterday and the vehicle was ready when I got there, and the price I was quoted was what I got! Chad handled the financing, and he was also friendly and polite. I have been to a couple of other dealers in central Illinois and left them because of the way I was treated. I highly recommend Honda of Champaign!

We visited McGrath along with various other dealerships in the early stages of our research for a new vehicle. Initially, we had reservations on whether a minivan or an SUV was the right choice for our family considering the size of the vehicle coming from a compact SUV. Additionally, we were considering buying versus leasing. We entered the showroom, which by the way, was well maintained and inviting. After a few minutes to settle in and survey the various floor models, Michael Pompilio gently approached us and offered refreshments (water, coffee,… spa treatment…jk) and immediately put us at ease through casual conversation that did not feel contrived but instead had a certain familiarity as if we were meeting with an old friends for brunch. When the topic shifted to the intent of our visit, Michael demonstrated a subject-matter expertise and provided an objective perspective on the pros and cons of the minivan versus the SUV, the various trim levels, as well as for buying versus leasing. Michael answered all of our inquiries with an effortless candor and provided us with ample pamphlets with footnotes from our discussion, which clarified the various trims levels that greatly equipped us with clear and concise information to actualize our needs in a pragmatic manner. Sticking to our plan to conduct further research, we made an unpressured departure. Subsequently, we reflected on our experience and expressed like-minded opinions regarding how Michael broke the mold from the typical commission-based salesperson. Being a military veteran, I was extremely impressed by Michael’s outstanding work ethic. My wife, being in the service industry, commented on Michael’s professionalism and empathetic approach. We agreed that his disposition was both gratifying and refreshing, which made a lasting impression on us. The remainder of the day, we visited several other dealerships and found comparable vehicles that also met our needs This factor left us faced with a challenging decision, which narrowed our scope to the Honda Odyssey and another competitor’s minivan. However, we easily observed the contrasts between the salespersons that were void of Michael’s appealing qualities. Some time passed and all the while, the various dealerships that we visited emailed us with current offers to earn our business. However, Michael’s emails didn’t seem generic. They felt like a well-thought out narrative that seemed more like an invite to a party with us being the guests of honor instead of a squeaky wheel trying to get the oil like the others. It was Michael’s contribution that literally steered us back to McGrath as if we were dowsing for water. During our final visit, Michael’s disposition remained consistent with our previous experience and we completed the deal. We happily exited the lot in a new Honda Odyssey with that fantastic new car smell and have not had any buyer’s remorse that comes with the purchase/lease of a vehicle. Overall, Michael seemed to genuinely take pride in expending his energy towards the care of the customer by accommodating our needs in every way and, as a result, gained our business, which in turn, met the need of the dealership.

Castle Honda services folks are crooks! I got my car serviced today, the price estimate they gave me was already inflated and said they gave me 15% discount on everything. After getting the service done i went to other Honda dealership nearby, the cost for doing same job was $200 less. NEVER GOING BACK TO THESE CROOKS. NOT RECOMMENDED!! I WISH I CAN GIVE 0 STAR TO THEM!

Purchasing a 2016 CRV - pf10
I purchased a new 2016 CRV from the dealership with the help of Ron Neuschwander and Chris Locke. The experience of purchasing the car was made enjoyable with their help. I love the car-- it was a great choice. When I picked up the car I noticed there was a minor paint issue on the inside of the drivers side door. Chris Locke and Russ Burkhart in Honda service took care of the issue without any hassle. I have been with Napleton Honda for 15 years and have purchased three Hondas from their dealership. Russ Burkhart and Gary Torkilson have helped keep all of my Hondas in great working condition during that time. The fact that Russ, Chris and Gary have been there for 15 years makes it very comfortable to bring my business to Napleton's.

I purchased a new Accord in May 2016. The sales experience was fine with little problem. On December 27, I brought my car in for it' first service. I received a service date and time confirmation by email. The confirmation listed the recommended service including an oil change, tire rotation and fluid check with an estimated cost of $29.95. When I arrived, I was informed that the service would cost $79.95 and that the tire rotation alone cost $39.95. I questioned the quoted "estimated" cost stated in my service confirmation. The sales manager kept asking me for a coupon. I did not have a coupon but I did have the confirmation. After much wrangling, the manager honored the "estimated" cost from my email. I was told that the service would take around 90 minutes. I provided my cell number and asked that I be called when the service was completed. I never received a call and returned some time later to get my car. While driving home, the tire pressure sensors turned on indicating possible low tire pressure. I turned around to return to Planet Honda. On the way, I pulled over and checked the sensor settings and found that the settings were never recalibrate after the tire rotation. Luckily, I knew how to reset the calibration settings.
To make a long story short, I would not advise any Honda owner to use the service department at Planet Honda. They utilize deceitful pricing tactics and are negligent in completing work in a satisfactory manner.

Adam in the Honda service department went above and beyond. He not only made sure I had a loaner car for the day but had it warmed up and waiting when I got there. The next day he had my vehicle warmed up and waiting for me as well. Wonderful people to work with and excellent service!!
