Refreshing Dealership Experience - Mills Family
Working with Terry at Metro Toyota was a very refreshing experience! My husband and I were in the market for a new family vehicle, and came to the dealership to test drive a Rav-4. We had been to a competitor to test drive a few similar makes and models, and were expecting the same showy/gimmicky salesmanship we've encountered at other dealerships. Thankfully, this is not what we experienced at Metro. We base our big buying decisions on facts and logic and try to leave small talk and emotions out of it. So, when we sat down at Terry's desk and he pulled out the auto issue of Consumer Reports (the very one we had been referencing for our car shopping), we knew we were in good hands. We took the most comprehensive and explanatory test drive we've ever had, and felt fully informed about all the features that the Rav-4 offers. Since we had our 5 month old baby with us, we were very happy with how quickly and easily we were able to wrap things up when it came time to buy. We would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a great, straight-forward and honest car buying experience!
2013 Toyota Highlander - BJ2013
We bought a 2013 Highlander at Sunshine Toyota. We obvious;y enjoyed the vehicle but the sales experience with Brian Grasseschi and his manager, Tim Born, was a significant reason that we bought from Sunshine Toyota. They weren't pushy but very informative. Allowed us plenty of time to talk about our decision privately and overall very helpful. It also helped us that they were willing to deliver the car to us in Ann Arbor so that we could avoid making another drive to Battle Creek. A great buying experience.
Welcoming experience - TeraN
Everyone at Szott was helpful and ready to see that our needs were met. They readily answered all questions and made sure that we were fully satisfied and aware of all the features of our new car. Ray Sadler, who had to take over for the original salesperson, was gracious and deserves a commendation for completing the sale and making sure that we were fully satisfied. Thank You!
We have previously purchased vehicles from Szott and had excellent experiences.
2 new Hyundia Tuscon - carinbbcakes
Totaled my first Hyundia Tuscon in an accident, I am living proof it's the safest vechile to drive with over 200,000 miles on it. I bought another new Hyundia Tuscon.
Great Sales Consultant - umojanow
The energy that Mr. Jerome Edwards put into helping me obtain a vehicle was above and beyond the call of duty. His positive attitude helped me get over my disdain for Car Salespersons.
If Toyota had more Salespeople like Mr. Edwards, they will sale a lot of cars.
Great Deal for Out of State Buyer - Stephen and AJ
I'm an out of state buyer who had a great buying experience at Suburban Toyota of Troy. My sales rep Chris Yarbrough and the sales mgr Scott Tekely were both courteous, fair and professional. This was extremely important to me as I came about 300 miles to buy my 2013 Sienna XLE .
There were no surprises, I got an excellent price, and I would strongly recommend Suburban Toyota and definitely Chris and Scott.

Excellent Mechanics and Service Director/Fair Prices - kcfield
I have a high standard for auto service. I expect the mechanics to be excellent, the prices to be fair, and the service management to be honest, ethical, and to communicate well. My wife and I had an excellent experience with Dunning Subaru service, so we decided to try Dunning Toyota for my wife's 2003 Corolla's service. I was impressed with the Service Director, James Norris. First, he set up an appointment and welcomed us as new customers by email before ever coming in. Second, my wife brought her car of 220k miles in, which at many dealers would have been an opportunity to try and sell optional services and repairs as "essential" Dunning did not try to sell anything other than the appropriate interval service repairs--essentially changing all of the fluids (which were due based on date). Third, the service cost came in UNDER estimate. Fourth, the dealer completed the service timely. Fifth, the general manager of the dealer John T. communicates very well with customers, and helped to make sure that the overall service experience was excellent. Both Dunning Toyota and Dunning Subaru have my highest recommendation for their service department. I cannot yet rateon their sales department as I have not purchased from Dunning, though I was impressed that the general sales manager did come out and introduce himself the first time I came to the dealership for service.
Found exactly what I needed. - Roxy88

Great Deal on my new camry - dalesteve

Absolutely outstanding - Adam
My husband and I were able to get a 2015 tundra, the employees there are so helpful explaining all the details from the loan to the truck. We enjoyed working with them and will go back there for our next buy.
Attentive, friendly, genuine. - Sraguilar217
Simply put, my family is a Toyota Family. From the moment my mom and I walked in to this dealership, we were reminded why. Within seconds, we were greeted and connected to our new friend, Tony. Tony was warm and friendly and made sure we were comfortable from the start. He was attentive to my needs and concerns and never made me feel like he was just trying to meet his sales quota. He kept me updated during every process and made sure all my questions were answered. Even Evan, who handled the paperwork, was extremely thorough and friendly and offered his suggestions without being pushy. Toyotas practically sell themselves. But Tony and this dealership gave me the Toyota experience from the bottles of water offered in our first meeting, to the picture Tony took with me and my car at the end. He was genuinely happy for me. He and this dealership are why I've remained loyal to Toyotas.
Best place in TC - linda67
Service is great. The mechanics really know what they're doing and they get the job done quickly. Service consultants are knowledgeable and polite. Wonderful waiting lounge. I used the shuttle service which is fantastic. I sent my daughter to this dealership and she found the exact Sienna she wanted at a great price. Best dealership in TC.
The very BEST buying experience - Sienna
I recently purchased a 2012 Toyota Sienna from this dealership and in particular Dan Myers. I could not have been more pleased throughout the entire process. Dan showed the utmost professionalism along with care and concern for what my family needed. He never took the easy road and assumed that he knew what my needs were, rather he listened ( not that common anymore in auto sales) and confidently showed me what he thought was best. Dan Myers along with Jim Ray and the entire staff at GB Motors thoroughly exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend.
Great Experience! - Happ Customer
Ha Parrinello is an "Awesome: sales person at Page Honda. She made my purchase of a Honda Civic an amazing experience. She accommodated my work schedule and was always in direct contact with me throughout the purchase. She has reached out to me after the purchase, as a friendly follow-up. If anyone is in need of a Honda, I recommend that you go see Ha Parrinello at Page Honda!

Love my Avalon, Serra Toyota made it easy - jonny58
well after a job transfer south, I decided to trade in my 2011 J Cruiser (still think I am going to miss her) But Serra Toyota made it easy, I found a Avalon Hybrid that was such a beautiful car, and with an average of 40 mpg, that's twice of my FJ Cruiser. I worked with Dave Yunker, who I could see why he was salesman of the year quite a few times, He was a decent honest normal guy who worked for his money, I highly recommend him, also worked with sales manager Nate Maciag and Jim Tuohy the General manager who both were just a couple of class acts. My special thanks to Mr Tuohy who made me an offer I could not refuse. So again thanks Serra Toyota and staff for making the entire car process easy. This is my 2nd purchase thru Serra Toyota and I can honestly say they have done me well both in sales and maintenance back in the service department. I am going to miss them. Thanks guys!!
Great service - Acorn
Martin Allos has helped me with a car lease and a car purchase. He's always honest and I feel like he's listened to my needs. Highly recommend! The service center is outstanding as well.
Mcinerney does not Honor their own Coupon!! - Roby
Since moving to Detroit a year ago from S.Carolina, I had been using Mcinerney Toyota for my Camry service, etc owing to close proximity to my house. I had a great dealership expereince with Jim Hudson Toyota in S.Carolina but unfortunately cannot say that for McInerney Toyota. On the first week of June I had taken my Camry for a Brake & Battery inspection... all seemed well BUT the service adviser advised to replace my Battery (since my charge reading was low!), I wondered why since my car did not have any battery issue? Anyways I still got the battery replaced and they charged me full price, labour et al. Few days later I received a Flyer form McInerney offering coupon for battery replacement. When I took the coupon I was curtly told by the service adviser that I should have shown the coupon at the time of service... I requested to honor their coupon since it was within the same month and week... but I was turned down! I feel I was duped into getting a new battery installed and I was not offered any battery coupon despite McInerney advisor knew that there was a promotion going on!!!
Worst experience I've ever had - Jadobson3
I CAN NOT believe what I'm going through right now! I traded in a very nice Tahoe to downsize a little and got a used Rav4 from Labadie Oct 1st. I was told they would offer top dollar for my Tahoe because there had been alot of interest in that model vehicle there. I was offered a below standard trade value on the Tahoe but they came down to an agreeable amount on the Rav4. I was happy with the terms and went about my business.
Until 3 months later I get a call from my bank that the dealership was attempting to just now turn in the paperwork for the loan. My loan offer was good for 30 days. That time had come and gone, Labadie waited 3 months to fax in the blank check. Literally all they had to do was fax a blank check. They didnt.
I was unaware of any issue because I had been auto paying the car note while on a deployment. (I'm active duty military)
I call and try to get ahold of someone and I'm told I'll get a call back. I then missed a call from "TJ" the GM who leaves me a voice-mail that says and I quote "This is TJ from Labadie Toyota, I'm the general manager, for some reason I've had to get flagged into this deal. You have two options you can tell (your bank) to fund the contract that you signed and are responsible for or you can cut us a check for $4063.48 for the negative equity in your Chevy Tahoe hybrid and bring the vehicle back. Those are your two options. Call me when you get this"
Hmm, surprising tone for a General Manager who didn't "manage" to get a fax off and screwed this entire thing up. Not to mention the fact that my actual negative equity was less then $3,000 do to the agreed price for the Rav4.
The huge problem here is that I no longer qualify for the original loan because i've taken over a family members hospital bills and my credit reflects it. I planned to do this to help out and purchased the car before thelse bills would be a factor.
My wife and two kids are two hours away from the dealership with no way to drop the car off and I'm on deployment during the holidays and these people won't even come pick up the car. I told them I would run my credit card to settle the difference.
Shame on you Labadie Toyota.
Pushing you into a deal without explaining - Vldicker
I went here to purchase a Subaru I liked that they had. I ended up not purchasing the vehicle because of the customer service. When they valued my trade in they offered $1,500 less than I was offered everywhere else (it was a Toyota) and told me my vehicle was going to die (I had the vehicle looked at right after by my mechanic and it was in perfect condition). On top of that they brought out a bunch of paper work and were trying to have me sign everything without explaining it. Luckily I had my significant other there with me. He said the paper they were trying to FORCE me to sign was to purchase the vehicle even though I stated many times in the conversation that I was not ready to purchase it. So please be aware what you sign with these people! Also be aware on their website the prices listed are for after a $2k down payment!
Felt deceived - gareyb
I look on line for a used Camry, they had a 2012 certified, for $16,431. We went to the lot and talked to Brian Foster, he let us drive it. When we returned and started to negotiate a price he looked at his paper, and said that car is on the lot for $16,931. When I told him the sticker in the window and the internet price was $16,431. His reply was the price is always a little lower on the internet, and the person who puts in the window stickers put the wrong one in that at car. We made an offer, he came back from the manager with the counter offer, and said the window sticker guy is getting his butt chewed out right now. We exchanged offers again, and he returned saying I could get to your offer if we could decertify the car, BUT Toyota changed their policy Jan. 1 2015 we are not allowed to do that anymore. We left it at that.
Two days later we stopped in to see if they would take our offer, and low and behold the sticker on the car was still $16,431. Brian's Sheet now had it at $16,631, I asked him why the sticker was still $16,431, I was told the guy that changes them was sick. I made one last offer, when he came back from the manager he said they would agree to that, BUT they would have to decertify the car.
