Knowing I had to come in the next day with my trade-in, Mike gave me my financing paperwork to take home. This kept my time spent there to a minimum. It was so quick and easy. First of all Kelly Duffy and Dale Barber are awesome! I had been looking to upgrade my 2012 Ford Focus SE for a while and after a bunch of searching online I came to the decision to buy a 2016 Focus ST3. I started calling some dealers looking for the car I wanted so I could at least test drive it because no one seemed to have a car on the lot and Lakewood ford was the only one nearby that had one to test drive so I went on my way to test drive the car!! When I got there Dale was there and willing to let me test drive the car for a bit even though he knew I wasn’t going to buy that one and they were about ready to close for the night(thank you so much for that!). I absolutely fell in love with the car and we sat down real quick so that he could get an idea of what I wanted and told me he would look around for the best deal for me. The next morning I had another dealer call me up and tell me he had my car within driving distance and that he would like to sit down to figure out some numbers so I got up and went to go talk to them. When I got there he put down a piece of paper and the number on the paper was $30k and some change and then told me that that is the price and that they don’t haggle and so I said “you don’t haggle at all?” and he said “nope that’s only $800 over invoice and it’s a great deal!! You won’t find a better deal anywhere else!” so I Said "I’m not going to lie to you in going to shop around im talking to other dealers right now" so he asked me to at least see what they can offer me for my trade in. So they came back with this outlandish number for my trade value that was a few thousand more than it was worth and said “why would you shop around when you can stay here and get your car today!”(Its funny some dealers seem to think people won’t shop around and drive to other dealers for a better deal Also after talking to a few dealers and also a few friends I found out that some dealers if they know that you are going to go to another dealer will give you crazy numbers on your trade in and when you come back they will say oops we made a mistake its only worth this amount which will be substantially lower than they had said) So I said well I’m going to go to another dealer I won’t tell them the price you gave me and I’ll see what they offer(the whole time I was there I was texting dale to see what was available to get).
A Funny note here is my wife had said to me I don’t care if we spend more somewhere else I don’t like this guy he is too pushy.
So we were off to Lakewood ford to meet up with Dale! Once we got there we were talking to Dale and he handed us off to Kelly do to the fact that he was helping out some other customers at the time. Kelly was just as great as dale there was no pressure at all and it made the whole thing very enjoyable and dale also kept checking in and it was kind of cool it really showed that he still cared about us! Once I saw the piece of paper with the price on it of 26k and some change I had to laugh because that was a lower price than the other place and we hadn’t even begun to haggle yet. I texted the other guy back and I think he knew I wasn’t coming back after that. Once the whole “Haggle stage” started they were very good at working with me to get the price and payments I wanted and even after I accepted the one price Kelly came back with an even better deal than I had agreed to so that was a super cool Big Plus in my book it showed that he really cared and wasn’t just trying to sell me a car to make commission! Once we settled on a price Dale came over and said he could get me the car today because he found out it was just a few minutes away so off he went while we were in the financing stage of things. I can’t remember the person’s name (sorry) who we did financing with but he was just as nice as Dale and Kelly! I’ve been with other finance people who are pushy trying to get you to buy all sorts of other things like special seat treatments and all the extra stuff and this guy explained all the stuff they offer and I told him what I wanted and we moved on!!! No pushiness it was great! I can’t thank the three we dealt with enough I love my new car and the fact that it wasn’t a hectic buying experience made it even better!! Thank you Dale and Kelly I will be coming back for future cars and have already been telling people to come to you if they want to buy a car!!

I went shopping today for a new Ford Edge or Escape. I was greeted promptly by a spunky but very professional named Ian. He asked about my preferences and proceeded to show me cars with those options. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and pointed out the differences in several models. I picked out a 2016 Ford Escape, we took it for a test drive and then we discussed trade in and financing. The Allstate man was very informative and helpful but he didn't pressure me into changing insurance companies. Clay, the Finance Manager was very helpful and informative about options for making my vehicle choice even better. I drove home with my new vehicle today and will certainly recommend West Hills to friends who want to purchase a new vehicle. I have been a West Hills (Parr Ford) customer for years and have purchased many vehicles from them my team leader Cheryl ensures my vehicles are serviced in a timely manner, thank you West Hills for great service, PS I am a lady and shopped on my own and was treated with upmost respect.

I have a three part review.
1. When I bought my car in May, I sent many emails back and forth with Ryan and Brian. I live up in Auburn, so I wasn’t able to just stop by after work. We talked about the kind of car I was looking for, and I pretty much told them not to even bother showing me a car that I was going to have to settle for. They both handled this message and my many questions very well, and were very prompt in getting back to me.
2. The day I actually went to Olympia to test drive cars was a good day. I met Beau there (he has moved on now) and worked with Brian. Beau drove me around to test drive different cars, and I chose the very nice Ford Fusion that I’m driving now. Beau is the only car salesman I have ever hugged. He told me the story about his brother, and how he gave his life for our country. Long story short, lots of tears I cried this day. But good tears! Brian was really amazing with the financing. He helped me get with Avid Acceptance, who are so easy to work with, and get the car financed. Also helped me with getting insurance set up.

3. Recently, my car started acting sluggish going up Tiger Mountain (Hwy 18) and when merging into traffic on the freeways. I’ve been pretty good about changing the oil, and taking care of the other routine maintenance on the car. So, I was a concerned that it might be something major. I took it to Sound Ford in Renton (don’t go there!), and was told after 3 days that my car needed a new transmission and it would cost $6,000 + tax. After the hysteria calmed down a bit, I reached out to Ryan. Ryan immediately offered assistance. He called Sound Ford to get their take on their diagnostic. After speaking to Sound Ford, Ryan told me he didn’t think they were right on their assessment. We arranged to have my car taken down to the service department at Awesome Ford (highly recommend them!) to get a diagnostic there.
Ryan contacted me two days after I dropped it off with Awesome Ford letting me know I didn’t need a new transmission (thank you Baby Jesus!). What the car needed was transmission fluid, and a good tune up. Also an alignment and some new tires. So, I got all of that done at a little over $1,500.
What I’m trying to say is THANK YOU Ryan. Your compassion for helping others is truly astounding. You went above and beyond customer service after the sale. You’ve earned all of my future car buying business. And anyone else I can convince to drive the extra distance to go see you.

I have purchased 2 cars from them now, one used, one new, and have a new F150 I had purchased from another dealer close by. Both the new and used car were given two years of free servise (oil changes), which I can drop off for at a moments notice. Their quality of work is outstanding, and is always ready when they hace said it was going to be, and detailed as well!
I have never dealt with a dealership as easy and pleasant to work with as Fugate, and will be back to them for any other vehicle purchase I make in the future.

-Service Department is five stars, Josh (Service Manager) and Kyle H., are awesome to work with. I have a 2000 Ford F350 7.3L and Kyle is the ONLY mechanic I will let work on my truck.
-Sales: I would rate as four stars. Yiwen "George" Li was a wonderful salesman, he and David made the transaction as smooth as a sales experience could go. The General Manager was professional and stepped in to help complete the transaction on a Certified Pre-Owned F150.
-Finance: The rating scale does not go low enough to rate Jim in finance. A zero would be providing a complete disservice to the number zero. First he was the most pushy person I have ever met. He does not understand when a customer says, "no thank you", that it should be his cue to MOVE ON. He was rude, condescending, disrespectful, and unprofessional. After telling him no thank you and no several times when he was offering the extended maintenance plan, I was forced to walk out of his office and get the GM. We have secured 1.9% financing vice the 3.9% that he offered as his "best deal". If you are purchasing a vehicle from Bellevue AutoNation, you are highly encouraged to find your own financing. Do not fall prey to his attempted strong arm tactics!!!!!!

My son and I visited the KORUM used vehicle dealership at 711 River Road puyallup today around 12:30 , July 24th and had the best experience ever because of the Sales Consultant , CLARENCE NEEDAM. He was so down to earth and accommodating answering all our questions with no problem. No one enjoys that uncomfortable dealership feeling as they pull into a lot but Mr. NEEDAM took that feeling away . We both left there with a great feeling about the purchase. My husband and I are both retired military and live in Tacoma but still work on the bases , JBLM. I personally will have no problem recommending this dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle. Thank-you Mr. NEEDAM ! If we could post more than 5 stars we would.

Extremely customer friendly environment however; I have had my car for two weeks and still do not have the spare key. I was informed the key would was ordered and it would be ready for pick up soon. As for the paperwork; the initial signing was completed incorrectly and I had to resign all the paperwork.
OLD SCHOOL used car salesman - keith B
Holy crud talk about OLD SCHOOL used car salesman, the 80's & 90's called gentlemen and would like their sales tactics back!!! The short & sweet of this is that the management (Steve....) likes to use that old school control & badger the customer to death technique!!! We had deal agreed upon & after we sent them our banks fax # to send over the purchase order. They then decide that they would like to make more profit in the deal by reevaluating my trades and having us do our paperwork through them for our bank, instead of coming up there with a check in hand. Okay so another words, we would like to bring you into the dealership sir & verbally accost you some more until you take less money for your trade in vehicles. Then we want to try & persuade you away from your trusted credit union into one of our financing options. All in the hopes that we can make even more money off of you if possible sir. However the worst case scenario is that we can always back pedal (which we obviously have NO problem doing) & go ahead & send it through your credit union. But at least then we'll have a chance to try & sell all the extended warranties and add on crap that we can. Oh yeah & let's not also forget to mention the charge to your credit union. It's just for a few hundred bucks that we'll get for doing all the paperwork for um, that you could have done at the branch for FREE with um !!!!! Now we will say this, we do feel bad for the salesperson though. Because she was
great the whole way through, professional until the end. We truly did feel that she had earned our business over the other dealerships that we had been shopping ! It's just unfortunate for her that the managers aren't as professional as she was !!! All & all the year is 2016 gentlemen get with the times, because the majority of us consumers do NOT buy car's this way anymore !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gus Johnson Ford is not a dealership from which you want to be purchasing your vehicle – the owner and employees of this dealership are dishonest and do not care in the least about their customers. My daughter is asthmatic and cannot tolerate cigarette smoke, so when looking for a vehicle I make sure that it is non – smoking. After test driving a 2013 Ford Edge I noticed that it had a strong odor in the vehicle, but the salesman assured me that this was just the scent of cleaning solution (that would air out) and that the vehicle had never been smoked in. Since my current car keeps breaking down I decided to purchase this vehicle, against by better judgment. After a couple days, the car sure did air out, leaving only the smell of tobacco behind. Furthermore, my daughter had an asthma attack after spending about 20 minutes in the car, making this vehicle useless to me.
After contacting Gus Johnson Ford about this issue they offered me to detail and clean the car interior, which did absolutely nothing about the smell. Then they offered to exchange the Edge for a similar “non-smoking” vehicle, however all except one that they showed me also stank of tobacco. Finally they showed me one Edge (a former Enterprise rental) that was odor free, but then demanded that I pay an additional $6000 since this Edge had 4000 less miles on it, which is laughable since you could drive a rental car that many miles in only a few days (for the cost of $500 or less). Furthermore, I noticed that another Edge that was parked next to one that they showed me had a damaged exterior and when I asked the why Gus Johnson Ford had damaged cars on their lot, the salesman replied that this car was from an insurance auto auction and that they still needed to fix it. So chances are that you will receive a formerly wrecked vehicle if you purchase a used car from Gus Johnson Ford. Given the blatant dishonesty and the utterly reprehensible behavior of the sales staff, it would not be surprising at all if Gus Johnson Ford would sell you a vehicle with other defects that will end up costing you thousands of dollars extra to fix in the long run or could even endanger the life of you family.
One final thing that I would like to add is that when I told one of the salesmen that I would post a negative review online about my experience at Gus Johnson Ford, he just laughed and replied that for every bad review that they receive, Gus Johnson Ford will have ten friends or family post fake five star reviews. In hindsight, it is quite obvious that the positive reviews of Gus Johnson Ford have been written by paid shills since most of them are very brief and lack detail or mention specific employees by name, who were probably the ones that actually wrote those reviews. As another reviewer stated, there should be negative five star rating option available specifically for Gus Johnson Ford.

After deciding to pull the trigger on a new F150 truck I shopped did some internet pricing seeing where people were buying. The hard part was finding a highly optioned F150 Sport/FX4 SCREW. As it turns out Evergreen had the truck. My salesman was incredible and so was the general sales manager who ended up doing the last round of negotiations. We quickly were able to come to a win-win deal.
If you are tired of the typical car game do your research give Eric a call and he will get the job done. I shopped two other dealerships the NO Dicker guys in Kent that was a joke. Then I saw some great deals and took a drive only to feel like I was back in the early 70s and 80s buying a car. I was so happy they didn't have the truck I wanted even though they advertised and said it was their. In the end do a little internet browsing and call Evergreen ask for Eric. You will be very happy you did!!
