I told the finance manager that I did not want the additional $2,500 benefit anti-theft protection on top of the gap insurance. The price for this was $399. I told him directly that I am not interested in this and that I did not want this looped into my contract. He basically told me that the dealership sells this with every vehicle and it is not an option to remove it. Unfortunately I had to move forward with purchasing this add-on in order to lease this new car when I did not want this one bit. I live in a very safe neighborhood and I don’t think $399 for $2,500 in payout is a good investment for me. Other than this. My sales rep Peyton was great. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and straight to the point. We got things done quick. We twiddled our thumbs for a good amount of time just waiting for finance to let us in the office to sign the papers. Moral of the story here was that everything was awesome except for the delay and the additional “required” protection that I did not want.

As a long-time Chilson's customer (4 cars over the last 5 years), we have always loved our experience with them. When it was time to buy car #5 we went to the recently purchased Morrie's Eau Claire Subaru, where we met Jason, since our previous salesperson had moved into a different field. Jason was AMAZING showing us what fell into our price range, keeping great contact with us and even dealing with some stupid questions on our part. It was clear to us that he cared about us, not just about the sale he was hoping to make, even referring us to a friend at another dealership to answer some questions about a car that they had that we were interested in. In the end we went with Jason and Morrie's because we have loved our relationship with the dealership and really got to trusting Jason and the Morrie's Eau Claire Subaru team. We now own car #5 from this dealership and my daughter purchased their 2nd car from Morrie's since then. I recently took my 2013 Chevrolet Malibu for an oil change. The service I received was great except for one of the Porters. I was trying to have a conversation with the service writer, and the Porter, Robert, kept poking his nose into the conversation so I had a harder time understanding the Service Writer. And this is not the first time that Robert was interfering with myself and the Service Writer. I had to have a new battery installed in my car and I was offered a ride home, but since my husband also works there as a Porter, he just let me take his truck home. I wish that they would do something about Robert though. He was very annoying.
