The dealership is fine for sales and the first 3 years of included service. But I was shocked by how much a 35,000-mile service was for an oil change, air filters change, and basic maintenance check out. $5 included service. But I was shocked by how much a 35,000-mile service was for an oil change, air filters change, and basic maintenance check out. $598.80. Makes me feel like BMW is saying don't keep a BMW past the 3 years of basic service term. The service department can make or break future sales. That is standard across any business. The car was in the shop for an hour based on their text messages. If you back out the retail cost of the parts installed, that's about $500 for 1 hour of shop labor. I am reconsidering BMW as my next car - this cost causes me to see what else is out there. More

I brought my car in for some recall work to be done and a couple of other issues were found. One of them involved a part that was just replaced by a third party repair shop weeks earlier. Instead of just charging me for the repair and saying that’s the breaks, Brittany followed up with the repair shop and then with BMW to get the part warranties, thereby saving me a good deal of money.
