I am VERY, VERY happy with my new Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Criswell Chevrolet. I know that sounds like I am an employee. I am not, in any way. I am just very satisfied with the positive experience I had with Gene Hoffman while buying a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I contacted Mr. Hoffman through an internet-based car sales website (CarGurus.com) that I have been using for 2 years to find the right vehicle. Gene Hoffman responded with a professional and courteous email with his contact information, a text (with a link to the CarFax information) and a calendar invitation for my test drive. I also spoke to him on the phone. If you are reading this, it may sound like a lot but it never felt like too much. Mr. Hoffman was not pushy or intrusive at all. I’m busy and I work about 50 miles away, so I appreciated the communication that Gene Hoffman put forth for me. When I arrived at the dealership, the car was ready for a test drive almost immediately. I preferred to open all the doors and crawl underneath first. I did. I even brought a mechanic’s creeper with me, though I did not use it. The car is in EXTREMELY good condition and was prepared very well. It even smells nice (it’s a 2018 and smells GREAT!). I had some questions about some custom, off-road equipment that is installed on my new vehicle. Mr. Hoffman was able to track down the previous owner, a very kind man, who actually came to the dealership while I was waiting and spent about 20 minutes talking to me about the custom equipment that he had installed. This might not be your experience, but it was for me. Additionally, the previous owner told me (I can’t confirm this) that over the years he has purchased about 25 vehicles from Criswell. Now THAT says a lot. Gene Hoffman was very professional, personable and patient. I knew that the vehicle was a good deal as offered online. There was no haggling, and no “I’ll have to talk to my Sales Manager” business. This is my first experience with Criswell and with Gene Hoffman. Without hesitation, I highly recommend both. More
