Our Humble Beginnings
In 1956 a gallon of gas was only 19.9¢ when George Dodd took over the Texaco station that would form the beginnings of the family business known as Dodd RV, a top selling Virginia RV Dealer.
George had a gift for working with people. Customers just naturally sensed that this was a man they could trust. He worked hard to build a reputation for honesty and fairness as he expanded into used car sales and eventually RVs.
Today, Dodd RV carries New RVs and Used RVs including Motor Homes, Travel Trailers, Fifth Wheels, Toy Haulers, Folding Pop-Up Campers and Expandables. We provide a full service operation for RV Sales, RV Financing, RV Parts & Accessories, and RV Service. Dodd’s employees took the time with us to find the nest fit RV for us. There was no pressure and all of our questions were answered in an understandable way. Financing was easy to obtain. The walkthrough was easy and we were shown everything needed to go on our first campout. The service and parts department was more than helpful and we’ll definitely be back there. Our dream RV When we walked into Dodd RV we felt at home. We were greeted by the smell of cookies and a very nice lady inquiring as to what we wanted. Scott Hudgin When we walked into Dodd RV we felt at home. We were greeted by the smell of cookies and a very nice lady inquiring as to what we wanted. Scott Hudgins answered all our questions patiently and showed us several RVs before we found the one we wanted. The process of buying the RV was so easy! We went back to Arnold Smith's office and he had all the paperwork completed and ready for our signatures. Ricky spent three hours with us showing us how everything worked in the RV--I couldn't believe how knowledgeable he was and how patiently he answered both of our questions. This being our first RV, everything was a bit overwhelming. Scott is still in touch with us and constantly answers our many questions. I would HIGHLY recommend Dodd RV !!! More

Found two used motor homes online that we liked and went to see them in person. Scott and the entire staff were so nice. We went home to think about it and got a video from Scott that night on the motor h to see them in person. Scott and the entire staff were so nice. We went home to think about it and got a video from Scott that night on the motor home we looked at. No other dealer we visited took as much time with us and made us feel as at home as Dodd did.
