I am a widow who experienced some serious financial p I sincerely wish that there were more than five stars that I could use to rate the Klaben team. I am a widow who experienced some serious financial problems after my husband died in 2014, and I was terrified at the thought of having to go and search for a car recently. It was recommended that I speak with Mr. Doug Carter at Klaben. I first contacted Doug via telephone in the late evening and surprisingly he answered...even though he was traveling in Columbus. I was immediately drawn to Doug's high energy and sincerity in his voice when he said..."we are going to do everything we can to help you". Doug and I connected a few days later via phone and text messages. Not more than a few hours after our initial call, Doug texted me a picture of "my car". I was incredulous and still did not believe it. I went to the dealership that evening and was greeted at the door by Doug with a big smile an warm welcoming hug. It was the first time in 40 years that I have EVER received such a warm welcome from a car dealership!!! Doug immediately let me take a test drive in "my car" and within about 1.5 hours...IT REALLY BECAME "MY CAR". This was made possible by Mr. Klaben, Doug, and Jen in Finance. I began to cry upon the realization that these three amazing and kind individuals took an interest in me as a person and gave me a chance to travel in a safe vehicle and improve my credit...even in the midst of filing for Chapter 13 bankruptcy. When I first walked in the door at Klaben I personally felt embarrassed and ashamed, but the sincere welcome and support from Doug, Jen, and Mr. Klaben (who made it all possible) lifted my spirits, eliminated my doubts, and made me feel highly respected and valued. There are truly no words that can express my gratitude to the Klaben team. When I drove home in my new car that evening, my seventeen (17) year old daughter excitedly ran to the car, we both cried in disbelief, and we thanked God for blessing us with the "Klaben customer service experience ...wherein they have a SINCERE COMMITMENT TO CARE (for individuals) that goes far beyond a concentration on car sales. Had scheduled a meeting with Chris Moldas to trade in our lease, and was of course blown away by his preparedness. He had the 2020 Explorer XLT in the color that I had specified by phone a month earlier waiting by the main entrance. We took it for a test drive and the whole time was shown the features of this vehicle. After returning we instead changed our minds on the color but he had the color we wanted with the options we requested within minutes! Always courteous and the rest of the staff is friendly as always! We will continue to do business with Klaben as you aren't treated as a dollar sign but as a friend! I had such low expectations at this point that I was giving up if this didn't work out. Well I am now in a new Expedition, and I couldn't be happier! I cannot even express the upfront considerate treatment I was given from the moment I called for an appointment until I drove off the lot in my new car. I have purchased around 30 cars in my lifetime so far and this has been what I would consider paramount in customer service, and that isn't even mentioning the price. I will be taking my car for service there also despite the 40 minute drive and the fact that I am 2 miles from another Ford Dealership. This was a cold call in on my part, I was not even referred and that is proof of the integrity of this dealership. My salesman was Matt and I will be referring people to him whenever I can! More
