I paid $15,000 for a new engine installation on my 2017 F-150 in November 2025, which came with a 3-year warranty. The service department’s work has been unreliable and costly. Less than two hours after picking up the truck, it broke down outside the Mobile tunnel. It was towed back to Chuck Stevens, where they later claimed the transmission had failed and it wasn’t their responsibility. I had it towed to Advanced Transmission, where technicians discovered the dealership had failed to add transmission fluid. I ended up needing a full transmission replacement and was without my truck until January 2026. Last month the check engine light came on, accompanied by rattling. I had the truck towed to Sandy Sansing Ford in Daphne, who recommended returning it to Chuck Stevens because they had taken shortcuts when installing my engine plus old engine parts in place of the new parts I purchased. I notified Chuck Stevens that the truck was en route. After a week with no update, I called and spoke with a service advisor (name not caught) who promised a callback the following week — which never came. When I showed up in person, I spoke with Balen. He was combative, questioned the Sandy Sansing report, and only after I asked to speak with the GM did he go look for them (they were reportedly unavailable). Balen said he would call me on Monday with an update. He didn’t. My wife runs a successful sourdough baking business, and we depend on this truck to haul products to weekend vendor markets. We’ve lost sales and profits, and our family of three has been juggling just two vehicles. When I mentioned this to Balen, he seemed unbothered and stated the dealership would not compensate us for the inconvenience. I am now escalating this to Ford Customer Service and requesting a formal case number. I deeply regret trusting Chuck Stevens Ford with the engine replacement and would strongly advise others against using their service department for any repairs — even something as simple as replacing a tire valve cap.

Ever since I have moved here a little over a year ago, I have always taken my ford vehicles to a Ford Quick Lane for regular oil changes. When I moved, I was not to sure where to go for my oil changes and regular maintenance. I have found an AMAZING Ford Quick Lane Service Center. It is located on Hughes Rd, right off of Interstate 72 in Madison, Al. The staff there are Amazing, I personally want to Shout Out to Kasey Allen - Service Writer!!!!! Ever since I started going there, he has ALWAYS gone Above and Beyond with his GREAT Customer Service, he treats me with the Upmost Respect and makes me feel like part of his family!!! He always answers all my questions and is an AWESOME Listener!!!! He explains everything in detail and takes his time to make sure I understand everything!!!! I HIGHLY Recommend this Ford Service Center to Everyone!!!! You will definitely be treated with GREAT Customer Service from Kasey and everyone!!!! I have been to Ed Sherling a few times and the guys in the service department went above and beyond to accommodate me. They have worked with me on the price of the service, they have done an oil change without an appointment. I was on my way to fish a tournament and got a nail in my tire, and the service rep went in the back and plugged my tire so I could get on the road. I have had multiple problems with a big named service company and they have tried to ruin my truck. I will not go back to anyone else except Ed Sherling. Also, the guys who work in the parts department are awesome too. They have gone above and beyond to find the right parts when I have needed them. They are also going to order my lift, tires and wheels for my truck. I recommend you get to know the employees at Ed Sherling Ford and let them get to know you. Ms. Sherling called me tonight and asked me about my experience at her dealership. I told her that I will not be taking my truck to anyone else while I am in Enterprise. She asked me to tell her if I ever have anything negative to say, I told her that I would. I believe if you want good service, you need to get out and introduce yourself and deal with people face to face. Just for calling me, Ms. Sherling will have my business and you should give them a fair shot at earning yours.

He was extremely fair in pricing, trustworthy, considerate, and easy to work with. I plan to use his dealership for my car maintenance. The dealership has changed ownership several times in recent years. The current line up is HORRIBLE! The service manager in particular. He insulted my wife and lied about the work he did to my vehicle. My brand new vehicle, I'd only had for six months was requiring repairs. Based on what I've seen I would not buy or have anything serviced from these people they are incompetent and rude. Makes me regret buying a having traded a Hyundai for a Ford.

Jeep giving all kinds of codes,then radio would go off, clock would go back to 12:00, then engine would shut off but not always. Happen over and over. Took it in they pulled the codes and when I ask what they were. They said old codes. They cleaned battery cables and tighten then up. Drove it 20 miles nothing. Told me couldn't find anything wrong. Husband drove it same thing. I put it back on my mail route. Started back coding. I do have to say in the past they have been good to me. But it seems like they have lost some really good people that worked their. They also need to upgrade the mechanics equipment bad. They are so far behind other dealerships. Just seems like to me they should have known what was wrong with my Jeep. It's still giving codes and still not fixed. But that is my work vehicle and I can't take off for days at a time for them to fix it. They never have parts sometimes they even get the wrong part in and that cost me another days pay. They also need to train more than on Chysler person to work on Chysler products. That would help so much.

When I bought the car, one of the extras i liked was the active backup lines. this was a major sale point to me. When I re-synced the system the active lines went away. Both dealers said that this vin did not come with the active backup lines. and I could not get them without a $2000 dollar upgrade. How were thy there in the first place? Apparently the required hardware and electronics are there. What would it take to install the active backup lines, again. Keep in mind within 6 months some one is going to crack the system. Ford should be making the profit on the active backup lines upgrade. again the hardware is there and functions I used it for 3 days before I reset the system. I am in essence being told that I have lied about the situation. This does not bode well customer relationship. the Salesman Bill was great!
