Superior Customer Service - Beardsworths
We were taken care of by General Manager, Richard, and salesman, Mike. Both of these men had outstanding personalities, were friendly, polite, and helpful. We felt so comfortable with both of them, like you would with a friend. Iron City Ford was our first stop & we were impressed. We left to go to two other dealerships and came back to Iron City Ford and after negotiating back and forth, we came up with a compromise and I got a great vehicle. We are waiting on one issue to be resolved (a chip in the windshield we missed) but other than that, the end result was we worked with great people, and got a great vehicle at a fair price.

Easiest Car Buying Ever - B Hug
I searched from Atlanta to Tampa for an F150 and Kenny Beasley gave me the best deal. All negotiations were done remotely and everything was as promised. In fact, there was a problem with one of the Ford rebates and they took the loss rather than pass it on to me. It was by far the easiest car buying experience I've ever had.

Faulty Transmission - bamaengineer16
I purchased a new automatic 2015 Ford Ecoboost Mustang from this dealership a little less than 3 years ago. I've used the car to commute to college in that time. Out of nowhere my check engine light came on and my car started jerking on my way home from class so I drove it straight to the local Ford dealership. The next day I was told my transmission had Failed and because my mileage was at 67,000 and the power train ended at 60,000, that I would have to cover the cost to fix it. When I spoke to the service director at Town and Country Ford, I was told that even though I regularly had my car serviced (at their dealership), that they have no diagnostic test that would've let them know something was wrong with my transmission and that I would have to just call and complain to Ford and hope they do something. Now after I had to find a way to commute to college the whole summer apparently Ford is only covering a small portion of their mistake, leaving me with thousands to pay. I'm sure I'll get another call from your dealership trying to tell me how my problem isn't really with the dealership that it's with Ford but that isn't true. Your dealership sold me the car. Your dealership serviced my car. My car failed. You put little to no effort into rectifying the situation.
Excellent customer service provided by Jim Moore - Janet123
From the time I walked into the store. Jim Moore and all the other personnel who helped with areas such as financing were very patient, kind and helpful. Did not feel any pressure at all to make a decision. I was pleased that Jim Moore was able to complete all the details in a short period of time and I was able to drive away in my new Edge!

liars - Disappointed
I was upfront about my situation, already had financing through my credit union, and thought the deal was too good to be true. I drove from Prattville to Tallassee, after reiterating my situation several times,. The battery was dead in the vehicle I wanted, it was out of gas, and the sales manager wasn't there. I wasted a couple of hours in town, waiting for the sales manager to come in. Then they ran my credit, saying I'd given them permission. I didn't; I was an idiot and thought they needed my social to fill out the purchase agreement that was supposedly a done deal. I thought we'd already reached a deal since I had my own financing, AND after giving the salesman ALL of my info including payoff and trade in information, and was just waiting on the paperwork. I asked about it several times. I was then given a significantly higher price. They will say anything to get you in the door, including that the deal was approved, I just needed to come in and complete the paperwork. I would have appreciated honesty; if it couldn't be done it couldn't be done, but I was flat out lied to.
Overall, Pleased with Their Level of Service - SiFoCharlie
Overall I’m pleased with the level of service from the sales department. All of my initial issues were rectified within a reasonable time and I’ve grateful for that.
Cons: Subpar knowledge base on vehicle features, fluids weren’t topped off after purchase (radiator, windshield wiper fluid), missing truck bed cleats, not the greatest service department.
Pros: Reasonably priced, accommodating to customer demands, military friendly, and great customer service.

Great experience! - peterrabbit
I recently went to Collier Ford. I showed up a few minutes before they were to close, but Mr Byron Taylor was extremely pleasant regardless. He was extremely fair in pricing, trustworthy, considerate, and easy to work with. I plan to use his dealership for my car maintenance. I am extremely picky as to whom I recommend, but I recommend him without reservation.

Once you buy your on your own - Bartcannady
Bought a Ford Escape from them and everything was going great. Joe was my salesman and he did a great job. But after I had the car for one week it finally rained and the car leaked like a fountain all around the windshield and ran all over the dash plus it stained the headliner all up. I contacted them and spoke with the general manager who said sorry can’t do anything. I understand that when you buy used you buy as is. But you would also think they would stand behind what they sell for at least a week. Wow I would not recommend this place for anything. They expect people to be up front with there trade and tell everything about it but they aren’t nice enough to do the same they actually washed they said before I picked it up so they had to now it was leaking this bad. So buyers beware they want your business but won’t stand behind anything they sell so I would look else where.
Do Not Buy From Stivers Ford Montgomery, AL. - JTWhiting
I am Internet shopping for a new vehicle and place several inquiries online to dealerships for the particular model I want. I was particularly interested in this one at Stivers, due to its being listed for a discount at nearly $5,000 below MSRP, which is extremely rare for this model.
I receive a call from Jay Johnson, an employee, of Stivers Ford at 11:03am EST on Monday due to a request for more information on a vehicle they have listed on their website. I was informed that the vehicle was going to be kept by the owner of the dealership for his “collection.” While still on the phone Mr. Johnson mentions that the vehicle I was interested in wasn’t that same as the one the owner decided to keep, I asked for photos of the vehicle via text message. I called back to inquire about the pictures at 11:16am EST and Mr. Johnson mentioned being in a meeting and he was “going to take them now” or words to that effect. I finally receive a call back from Mr. Johnson at 12:05pm EST stating that the vehicle listed on their website is in fact the same one the owner decided to keep for his “collection.” Mr. Johnson ensured me they could order another one or have it allocated from another dealership. I reiterated that I was interested in that specific model with all the same options for the same price and he was extremely adamant that it could be acquired and sold at the same price as listed on the Stivers Ford website. I was extremely clear that I would be driving 90 minutes one way to make this deal and was met with total reassurance that having the vehicle in the week was possible.
After the 74 mile journey to Montgomery, AL from Fort Benning, GA I asked the receptionist for Jay Johnson, and she says no one by that name works there (not a good sign). I call Mr. Johnson and he answers as he is walking by and I flag him down. I shake his hand and use the restroom after the drive. I return to Mr. Johnson and he hands me of to a Sales Associate named Marcus Boyd. My first words with Mr. Boyd are that I am excited to get this vehicle and he said “hopefully we can” or words to that effect. I replied that I want definite not maybe and I didn’t drive 90 minutes for “hopefully.” Mr. Boyd stood up and walked away.
I over hear a gentleman, that I end up dealing with more that day, which identified himself as the Floor Manager Erik Stlher. Mr. Stlher said “we can’t get that car” or words to that effect. Since this conversation didn’t involve me I interrupted and asked to be informed why I drove so far and wasted my time after I was affirmed twice it was possible to purchase the vehicle. I mentioned to Mr. Stlher that I would go outside to calm down, seeing this information is the exact opposite of my expectation. I walk back inside and Mr. Stlher says that he “has good news” or words to that effect and that Mr. Eddie Stivers (Owner of Stivers Ford) would sell me his car from his “private collection” for $30,000 over MSRP which is approximately $35,000 above the internet listed price (which I have attached a screenshot of.) I am obviously agitated and mentioned that regardless of owning a dealership and being able to do what he wants, that $99,000ish price tag for a car they had listed for $65,000ish is a dirtbag move. I was reminded this was a sale from his “private collection” and Eddie Stivers was doing me a “favor” offering the vehicle to me because there were only 300 to be produced this year.
This type of behavior is reprehensible and Eddie Stivers doesn’t deserve your business. Capitalism is one thing, but wasting about four hours of a potential customer’s time and then saying “good news” is gouging a customer for $35,000 above MSRP is unprofessional and just plain dirty.
Do Not Buy From Stivers Ford!!!
TL:DR, I was assured I could purchase a car for a price and was met with a “deal” for $35,000 above MSRP, 4 hours of my day and a tank of gas after coming off a 24 hour shift wasted.
