Under new management I was able to work well with the no - sotonation13

Under new management I was able to work well with the no pressure sales team/GM and finance to secure my vehicle purchase. After working with other dealerships in the area The deal maker for me at GMC of Gilroy was the lifetime warranty incentive that came with my truck. It's the best incentive around. Go check it out for yourself. Mike S.

Had a wonderful experience working with the team at Ed - VRAM GAMALYAN

Had a wonderful experience working with the team at Ed Dena's, everyone was very nice and helpful. I've purchased many cars and this was one of the smoothest transactions. Looking forward to working with them in the future.

Oops, I did it again! - kristigeneral

Oops, I did it again! This is my fourth time as a returning customer. If I didn't make it clear last time: each experience somehow manages to get better and better. At this point, I literally feel like part of the CarMax family the second I walk through the door. I will never, ever go anywhere else! 🚙✨

I purchased a warranty at the time of a new car purchase - Kinlinc49

I purchased a warranty at the time of a new car purchase in Texas that covers service. This service department could not take the time to look at my records using the VIN. So I paid full price for the service. They fail when it comes to customer service.

Do not do business with Dutton Cadillac and the Sales - jgross717

Do not do business with Dutton Cadillac and the Sales Manager Steve Neville. I viewed a car online, and purchased a one year old Cadillac ESCALDE IQ with 400 miles that was being offered as a Certified Pre-Owned Cadillac. I am 2500 miles away from this dealership and relied on the representations and documentation made by the dealership. For this age and mileage Cadillac's CPO standard states the car should cosmetically meet the brands luxury standards, it did not. The entire rear of the car had swirl marks that required my local detail shop to correct and polish the finish for 8 hours at my expense, $500. The CPO standard states the body should be free of dents, I had a Paintless Dent Removal tech fix dents and ripples in a door sill, an A-pillar and a rear quarter panel at my expense of $300. The worst damage to the car is the running boards, the bottom of one has the covering torn from it and the other side has deep scratches running through half the length. The car was mishandled while in others procession, there are round abrasion marks from a floor jack or jack stand on the bottom of the steps indicating the vehicle was improperly lifted or supported. This damage was documented by me via email 3 days after receipt of car (when I looked under car) and 120 miles after delivery. This damage did not occur while the car was in my possession. When I discussed the damage with Steve Neville he asked what would it take to satisfy me? I said Dutton Cadillac should pay me the cost of parts and installation. Steve said he would just pay for parts, so I went to my local Cadillac dealer to get the cost. I made a request for Dutton Cadillac to pay me $646.77 and Steve Nevilles reply was after consideration he decided to decline my request for payment. A man is only as good as their word, so you draw your own conclusion. I am contacting Cadillac to complain the vehicle was represented and sold as a CPO car but in fact did not meet the standard. Luckily, after I have spent nearly $2000 to correct these defects, the car looks nearly new. Buyer's beware, there are much better places to do business.

This dealership is very nice to get you to buy a truck. - gowensjanelle

This dealership is very nice to get you to buy a truck. Just be aware that they make promises that they don’t keep after you drive away. Don’t expect anything they promised you after that. They will just give you the runaround and act as if they never promised you that product.

Listen David was very helpful and kind. - Jood

Listen David was very helpful and kind. The process was very smooth and quick. I was in and out within an hour and I got a great deal!

Although this is about the service department, it's - icurbab

Although this is about the service department, it's important to note that between my wife & I, my son, my mother-in-law and brother-in-law we've purchased a total of 14 vehicles from this dealership. The crappy thing is when we walk in no one there seems to know or remember us. It's like we're some random walking in off the street. The other day my 2022 Denali pickup had a service issue with one of the transmission shift mechanisms with only 42,000 miles on the truck. I took it in to see about having it fixed only to find out that it would cost over $1,500. I was told that it would take a month to get the part and I'd have to leave the truck. Thankfully the part arrived in less than 2-weeks. Here's where things go bad. After receiving the notification from GMC that the part arrived, we called several times to talk to the service writer to find out when we could pick up the vehicle. At the point that we reached 7 hours of trying with no return call, we decided to go talk to them face to face. The time was after 4PM which we found no one from the Cadillac side working (we go to that side because we also have a Cadillac) so we went to the GMC side to talk to a service writer there who went to talk to the technician. He told us that they hadn't even started on it even though we received the text message about the part around 8AM but we could expect to get it back the next morning. The next morning came and we received a note from the dealer saying that the vehicle was ready. Automated note that came in before they opened. When we arrived we found the billing to be 100% of the original quote of over $1,500. When we asked why we got charged 4 1/2 hours of labor, their hesitated response was the technician stayed late as two service writers looked at each other with a look of a made up story on their faces. The person who told us, we know left at 5, so we know he didn't really know how long that technician really stayed. Yes they had every right to charge the full amount but if you had a good reliable repeat customer, would you not want to take care of them. What makes it worse is our service writer wasn't in when we got there so the other service writer handled getting us the vehicle back, which when I asked about confirming the technicians time and the charge, he blew it off like he had nothing to do with anything I asked about. His words... "yeah I don't really get into all that". This is the first time I'm writing about this dealer or any for that matter but the third time we've had bad experiences here. The other two were with sales. I like my truck (which I bought somewhere else because I swore I'd never buy from Fremont ever again) and we love our Cadillac but we won't buy or have our vehicles serviced here any longer. It's one thing to need revenue but the long term effect of losing four customers is a critical fail, and for God's sake, remember the names of the people who are supporting your business frequently.

We purchased a 2022 Equinox last September the manager - len559

We purchased a 2022 Equinox last September the manager approved 3 free services on them had 2 the 3rd one is due the service department is saying we need written proof for our free service. I think that is wrong. We really had good intentions of going back for another vehicle but lying is bad reviews.

My experience has gone from bad to worse. - diversion86

My experience has gone from bad to worse. I needed another routine oil change but also had to fix a few other issues (TPS) so brought it back to the dealership for maintenance. For my mileage there were a handful of recommendations and I agreed to perform all except two. Passenger air cabin filter ($15 OTC) and engine filter ($20 OTC) since they are cheap filters and easy to do oneself. Not sure what happened with the communication but the cabin air filter was replaced for $130. Ouch but whatever. Then going further down I see they even nickel and dime for washer fluid? First off, I top off my reservoir with Rain-X once a month so I know it wasn't needed. I thought I was doing them a favor by letting them know a wash wasn't necessary since I have a LUV membership across the street. I will say after this experience, washing my truck after was more therapeutic and stress relieving than here. Highly doubt I will ever take my truck in again for routine preventative maintenance. Praying I don't have any mechanical issues that require me to bring it back here anytime soon. For over $1230 (with discount) I expect a lot better. Once my money has already been taken all I ever get is "sorry". Guess I need to find a better place to do my coolant fluid exchange soon - recommendations needed!

My family and I had visited the dealership regarding a - malopez3

My family and I had visited the dealership regarding a 2018 Mazda CX-5 that had been advertised. Unfortunately, the car had been sold. But the salesperson answered several questions I had regarding the used car market which was very informative and appreciated.

I hope my complete comment is shown: My 2019 Escalade - Bst1050615

I hope my complete comment is shown: My 2019 Escalade was serviced on 1/28/26. Yesterday, 2/13/26, approximately 5:30 pm, I was driving uphill on Antonio Parkway. Another driver alongside, started non stop honking his horn at me, as in trying to tell me something was wrong. I was hesitant but rolled down the passenger side window. Appropriately yelling, he said my tire was loose and about to fall off!! I immediately became very nervous and upset but kept my cool. I quickly thanked him, he continued uphill. Putting on my hazard lights, I made a u-turn and slowly made my way downhill to Ortega Hwy and turned right at the stoplight. I drove until I got to Rancho Viejo Rd and turned into the shopping center. I called Allen Cadillac, Laguna Niguel and was transferred to someone who I explained my emergency to. I don’t remember his name but he was helpful and told me, do not drive the truck further, have the truck towed there, leave the keys in the drop box and they would handle the rest. I called AAA to have it towed there. Dunnivan’s Towing arrived shortly. I explained what happened to the tow truck driver. He thoroughly, checked out all 4 tires. At that point, said he did not see anything wrong!! He then decided to double check all tires. By jacking up the truck, he found out what was going on. He said the spare tire was loose and was about to come crashing off!! I was so very happy and relieved he found out what was going on. He said, a serious, dangerous accident could have occurred had the tire fell off in traffic!! The thought of it is appalling!! That said, WHO ALL worked on my truck, was responsible for double checking that the work done was safely completed that day and what is going to be done about it? It was quite a day yesterday but gratefully, I was able to finish some of my errands, and safely make it back home. I live and drive every day in a very hilly part of town. Having a safe truck to drive is why I pay for and have a maintenance agreement. I’m calling Allen Cadillac, Laguna Niguel to update the office and to hear what they have to say about it now.

Billy was amazing! - jrluvsmileyc

Billy was amazing! Super friendly, respectful and 1000% honest. I am a Senior Manager for a top sales company and I normally play the dunce when I shop but I do my own thorough research and Billy was completely honest, exactly what I look for when I hire. That said the dealer was very clean and had a great variety of vehicles.

I’ve called asking for my Service records three times already and no one has gotten back to me! They didn’t fix my car correctly so I had to take it to another dealership!

Ellie K. - JRodela06

Ellie K. helped me through the purchase process when I found the perfect Escalade for my mom. She sent pictures because the website had not been updated, I drove over an hour to check out the Cadillac. Went over numbers and trade, the following week my mom had her well deserved Escalade Platinum. Some issues arose on the way home and Ellie scheduled me in right away with a loaner to check out the warnings. Some things could have been better since there were immediate issues(l understand buying a used vehicle), but overall a positive experience during the purchase process.
