Joshua, Brenda and Roger were very enthusiastic in helping us through the process. Tammy in service was as well. My only complaint is that parts weren’t readily available (or anticipated) to complete the sale. By this, I mean the repair kit for the bed cover. That part should have been on hand. Instead, I need to return in 7 days or more for it to be delivered.
All in all, the people at Ray Brandt Chevrolet did their best to make this an enjoyable experience.

Service - Sandy
Jimmy is the Service Manager and Dee is the parts manager. These two guys have almost 60 combined years in GM experience. For the BEST quality service in Mississippi, this is a must go to dealership. They will do what it takes to keep your vehicle in tip top running shap. Unlike other dealerships, the service manager doesn't test drive vehicles. Jimmy Steadman will take time to oversee everything pertaining to your vehicle from start to finish. The service advisors are also friendly and knowledgable.

Paxton, Steve and the team make you feel like family. These guys go out of their way to make it a smooth experience. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Around September 10, 2020, I brought my C6 Corvette Z06 from Meridian, MS (71 miles) to have warranty work done, with less than an eighth of a tank of fuel, but washed and clean. I received a call around the end of that week informing me that the right tank fuel module (basically a fuel level sensor) needed to be replaced, and that the part was on backorder with no ETA. Four weeks later the part arrived at the dealership, at no fault of theirs; however, I got a call during the sixth week informing that my car was completed, and rode with my girlfriend to the dealership two days after the call. When I arrived to pick up my Vette, the fuel tank was empty; and the battery seemed to struggle to start the engine. I drove to the gas station to fill it up for the trip back to Meridian. As I was sitting in her car, waiting for the tank to be topped, we noticed fuel pouring from the passenger side of the car. At this point, I was only disappointed. I immediately drove it back to the dealership with the video of it pouring fuel, how the battery was performing, and suggested that it was probably just a misalignment of the rubber o-ring for the left side of the fuel crossover tube that connects both tanks. We scurried back to Meridian for her to drop me off and get to work. I received a call on the 7th week to inform me that the leak was fixed and that I would have to buy a new battery, even though their shop killed the battery by not keeping it maintained during their checks and lack of being able to be driven; so we rode back up there a day, or so, later with a new battery. As I raised the trunk to prepare to swap batteries, I noticed that the carpeted trim along the left side of the trunk wasn't fully installed, and that my carpeted trunk may wasn't laid flat. Upon further examination, the mechanic failed to reinstall the XM radio receiver, and was still connected to the harness and laid over the trim carpet and tucked under the truck mat. I was getting mad at this point. Then, once I swapped the battery and started the car, wr began smelling fuel. At first, I was hoping it was just residual fuel odor that was resonating from the undercarriage. I wasn't so fortunate. The car was STILL LEAKING FUEL! At this point, I'm furious. The mechanic came out and admitted that he suggested that it needed a new tank. Keep in mind that I didn't drop it off with any fuel related complaints. Two trips to Roger Dabbs, wasting our time and gas money, just because the mechanic didn't check their work to notice the shoddy work. So, I left it with them, AGAIN, to fix their mess. The next day, I called the service manager and had to leave a voice message. I never got a return call, nor any call from management to address their concerns of poor service. After not getting a courtesy call from management, I called GM Corporate to file a complaint, Case # 9-6345582130. Even after filing a formal complaint, I still never received a call. Week 8, I get another call to inform me that the car is repaired; and that it was the o-ring alignment that I originally mentioned when this issue arose. However, I returned for the third time to retrieve the car. I signed the paperwork, got the key FOB, and had to walk out back to get it; because no one was available that knew how to drive a manual transmission. As I approached the vehicle, I couldn't help but notice how filthy the car was from rain, dust, and handprints; and the two rear tires had between 20-22psi of air in them. I don't use run-flat tires. As I pull into the service side to have the tires inflated, I notice that they didn't reprogram my tire pressure sensors, all blank except for the left front. My tires are inflated; and I leave. I was done dealing with Roger Dabbs Chevrolet of Brandon, MS. I don't recommend any Corvette owner to leave their car in the hands of Roger Dabbs mechanics. You can get this low level of service anywhere. I feel bad for the service writers who have to be the middle person between the junk work of their mechanics and the poor customer service of their management. At least the service writer was very professional while being placed in a difficult position. What's bad is that my first experience, a year or so ago, with this dealership was very pleasant; while this second experience was so terrible that it basically annihilated any future dealings that I might have had with Roger Dabbs Chevrolet. I WiLL NOT RECOMMEND THEM.
Excellent Car Buying Experience - gregb
Neal was great to work with; no pressure and very professional. He and the team at Barnes Crossing made the process enjoyable. I would definitely buy another vehicle from Neal and Barnes Crossing Chevrolet. Great prices and great customer service.
Sales manager rude - SullivanPerformaceLLC
We were looking for a used Tahoe and I reached out to Blackmon Chevy to see if they could find us what we’re looking for. The salesman I talked to was very friendly and helpful. The problem I had was with the manager that called when he found a Tahoe was wanting us to basically commit to buying it before it arrived and told me he had new ones he’d rather be selling! His whole tone and the way he spoke to me really shot the whole deal. But the got the tuck in and my wife stopped and looked at it and decided it was in to rough of a condition to buy so we bought elsewhere.
Horrible shopping experience - CarShopper18
We had a horrible shopping experience at Ryan Chevrolet in Hattiesburg. To keep it brief, we were interested in purchasing a vehicle and noticed it had a check engine light on. The sales guy & used car manager (I assume?) would not take care of the issue and instead tried to pressure us into purchasing the vehicle "as is" at full price. So glad we took our money elsewhere. Would not recommend purchasing from this dealership!!!

BEWARE OF CHANGING PRICES!!! - tmitchell
Beware!!!! The pricing shown on the website is misleading and they will do a bait and switch with the pricing on the vehicle!!!! The pricing shown online is not real as they take a $3000 discount and then tell you that it's not really a discount, that it is money they will put into your trade. I was told the market value for my trade-in was $17000, and the online price is $28985. Which leaves a difference of 11985. When I tried to make the deal, the price was increased to 31985. Making the difference $14985.
I spoke with the manager, and he explained that if I was going to get "market value" for my trade, that the price would be raised $3000. He explained that it is something that other stores are doing, so that's why they do it... Seems like a pretty weak explanation to me. He said that he would speak to the owner, and call me back. He didn't call, he had a salesperson call. The 2nd salesperson that I had been passed to in 2 days.
Buyer Beware. Yo-Yo Financing. - Derek Craft
Beware, this dealership engages in Yo-Yo financing.
On 09/02/2019 I traded in my truck at payoff value and purchased a new one at this dealership. We were approved financing at an acceptable rate, signed papers and left with the truck.
11 days later, we were contacted by "Tony", the Finance Manager, telling us the financing had fallen through, and that we either needed to bring the truck back to the dealership or sign a new contract (+5% higher APR than the original contract and +$60/mo higher payment). I asked about terminating the deal and just taking my trade-in back, along with my down payment. Tony replied, "No. We've already paid for the truck." So they have taken my truck and placed me in a position where I have two choices. Return the truck and walk home, or pay close to double the retail value of the truck due to outrageous finance charges.
I was appalled. Before returning to the dealership to sign this contract I knew I would regret (what choice did I have, really?) I reached out to both GM and the manager of the dealership. I recounted the facts as they happened to both parties. GM stated they would open a case and relay the complaint to the dealership. I spoke with Brent Skinner over the phone and explained the negative experience we've taken from his dealership and asked if there was anything he could do for us as a customer. Perhaps something to retain a customer and act in good faith that the deal had gone from fair to taking advantage of a consumer?
"No", Brent Skinner's words were "As a customer, you don't see our side and what we have already done for you to make this happen" - meaning the new contract with a ridiculously high APR that they had to "pull strings" to make happen. Even an offer of a tank of gas to drive out 30 miles to buy into their deceptive practices would have been a nice band-aid on the wound they've inflicted on our wallets already. Let it be known that I did my part to reach out to all relevant parties to find a solution before resorting to sharing my experience with the public. However, it was made apparent to me that management at this dealership doesn't deal in pragmatic, good faith solutions. "Sorry." is best this business has to offer, from my experience.
This dealership will allow you to leave their lot with their vehicle, with a seemingly great deal, under the impression that the financing was approved and finalized, only to reel you back in, pointing fingers at financial institutions and not their own feigned ignorance of what an approval really entails. Twice, the finance manager gloated about having "been in the business for over 20 years", but for us it's become apparent how those years were spent.
In conclusion, I would not recommend this business in any capacity to anyone. I can guarantee that my family and friends will stay far away from this place. Y'all had a choice and several opportunities to turn this into a positive experience and make a return customer of us and you failed tremendously.
In the end, it may have been completely legal. But legality does not equate morality and in our opinion this is a very immoral business.

WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE. The mission statement in the "About Us" section in their website clearly slanders: "Good credit, bad credit, no credit, or if you're just a first time buyer please come see us today!" Well don't depend on that, I had researched all of their reviews and they were surprisingly good, obviously wrote by someone associated with the company. My first experience with the company, I filled out the application and the salesperson (Daniel) proceeded to go to the back room and discuss my application with the financial advisor where as I could hear the whole entire conversation between the two. At one point in the conversation I heard profanity when talking about my application, these people are not professional and have a lack of respect for customers. My opinion, LOOK FOR ANOTHER DEALERSHIP.
