Excellent service center performance - amazed
The service rep I've always worked with is Lionel Campbell. He always seems to be having his best day; he's just always friendly, understanding, and cooperative. I've brought my c5 z06 Corvette in for a couple mundane service appointments (Technical Service Bulletin warranty work) and a ripped axle boot (under my 7-yr warranty), and I've had two other unique experiences with the Service Department.
Clutch pedal inconsistencies made clutch engagement unpredictable; sometimes it just wouldn't engage at all. They kept the car for 4 days, testing it cold and I'm told, later, when completely warmed up (because the symptoms never showed cold). Lionel said they drove it for at least 20 times back and forth in their lot shifting gears through 1-2 and Reverse and in desperation, around the town and could never get the problem to re-occur. He claimed they probably had 2 hours of labor time committed to my car and couldn't justify any more time to an unpredictable intermittent problem. They returned the car to me without charge. It didn't cost me anything. (Futral did the work when the clutch finally died 8500 miles later, since I wanted to replace the diff with 4.10s [no labor nor parts guarantee under GM policy since 4.10s weren't available as an original sales option].)
I had one other experience with Service. I bought a used 2014 c7 z51 Corvette in 2016. It had 14,800 miles on the odometer. I took it immediately to Ryan to see if I could get all four of the chrome wheels replaced because they had very slight pitting. One of the four wheels had been curbed badly. (I worked in a Chevrolet dealership in California for 12 years in the late 80's; I knew my claim on two of the wheels might be considered frivolous- the pitting on those two wheels was extremely slight. The curbed wheel had the severest pitting, but it had been curbed hard, too. I didn't expect much. However, pitting is a true indication of an underlying problem during the chroming preparation phase; pitting would only get worse. As a [former] dealership employee, I could easily accept that Ryan Chev would not approve at least two of the four that I claimed; a car-show judge might not have spotted the blemishes I pointed out. I circled each blemished spot with a grease pencil and drove to Ryan.) Lionel directed me to Larry Hamil in the body shop; wheel warranties had to be submitted through the different department. They replaced all four wheels (in a "no questions asked" manner); they did say, however, that with that claim I could never claim wheel damage again. I was stunned at the warranty service. Almost 15,000 miles on the car; it was sold first 2 years and 10-1/2 months prior with less than 2 months left on the 100% bumper-to-bumper warranty and Ryan Chevrolet pushed my warranty claim through. Most aftermarket chrome wheels are guaranteed for only 2 years. I've never heard of a 3-year guarantee for chromed parts.
I've had only outstanding results with Ryan Chevrolet's Service dept.

The only problem I had was I purchase a new Silverado very nice truck but I noticed the steering wheel was not centered, I knew right away the alignment was off so I made a appointment with the service Dept at Dewayne Blackmon CHEVROLET where I purchased the vehicle,I had to leave work early to make the appointment the service manager drove the truck and said he seen what I was talking about but they could not touch the truck until it had 900 miles on it, they could have at least checked the alignment a waste of my time very dissatisfied with the service dept I wound up carrying it to another alignment shop and payed out of pocket .

If I could give less stars I would. Worst experience with a dealership I've ever had! Bought (2) vehicles. First had a bad engine, so they traded with me after 4 months of phone calls and visits, traded for a 2016 that they presented a Carfax on that stated NO Accidents/NO previous damage. I asked the salesman if he was sure the veh was good, based on my experience with the first one, he told me yes, this was a good clean trade in. After having the car for 5 months, I took the car to a body shop to have a small split in the bumper repaired only to find out that the car HAD been wrecked and a lot of work had been done on the car! I went to (3) different body shops, including the one at Barnes Crossing, and all of them told me they could tell by looking at the front of my car that the front had been replaced. After close inspection, there was work done all down the passenger side, and across the front. I went back to the dealership and was told over speaker phone by a person calling himself Joe, the owner, that yes he will sell a car with a bad engine and yeah he'll sell one that has been wrecked before and not tell it because HE CAN! Lady you bought a used car and you take your chances when you buy a used car, and that if I have a problem with Carfax I can take that up with them! I had (2) other people with me, plus the General manager that made the call in the room, that heard this...I'm glad to know what they will sell you and what information they will withhold from you now! ***BUYER BEWARE***

If I could give this delarship 0 stars I would. Jeff Smith is a joke and runs a jungle gym of lying employees. He’s running a scam program. He tells his finance managers to con people out of money. The bank may approve you for 2.5 percent for 60 months. However the managers sign you up for 10-15% for 72 mos and profit this extra money. He even tells his employees to purposely not work on a paying customers vehicles simply because he doesn’t like someone or something. Take your hard earned money to a place that appreciates it. BBB reports have been filed and I’ll never use this con man again.
Need Stronger Management - BADBEAU
1) Late opening the door at 7:30am for service; those dropping off car to go to work want a quick check in
2) if someone is there at 7:30am for a basic oil change; it should not take over 2 hours without receiving there car back ready to go
3) customer should not get hit by a SMOKER smell as a greeting
4) use common sense when trying to contact Extended Warranty approvals; if there is no answer, find another number or go to internet to find way to contact, instead of waiting & waiting doing the same thing that is not working
5) clean you waiting area; carpet was filthy, food under chairs, spill drinks on tables, etc.
6) do not conduct financial business with a "clan" of folks around knowing about your business
7) escort the guest back to their car just like you receive the car instead of saying your keys are in it and parked right outside.
Brand new tahoe shakes terribly! - Disappointed customer
Not only will I never purchase a gm vehicle ever again, I will ensure everyone knows the terrible customer service I have experienced with this dealership. If you want a quality vehicle, do not go with a tahoe. According to Turan Foley, it is normal for a tahoe to vibrate/shake. The vehicle shakes so bad, it makes you nauseous. Turan Foley treated this situation with no care at all. They treat you so good while making a purchase, but do not expect anything beyond that. By far, the worst customer experience I have had in all of my life. I have purchased 4 brand new vehicles (this being the first gm vehicle) and I have never had even close to an experience this bad. I will never stop telling anyone and everyone I can about the quality of a tahoe and the experience at the turan foley dealership and service center. Do your research before you buy. I wish I would have, because this is a very known issue.

The mission statement in the "About Us" section in their website clearly slanders: "Good credit, bad credit, no credit, or if you're just a first time buyer please come see us today!" Well don't depend on that, I had researched all of their reviews and they were surprisingly good, obviously wrote by someone associated with the company. My first experience with the company, I filled out the application and the salesperson (Daniel) proceeded to go to the back room and discuss my application with the financial advisor where as I could hear the whole entire conversation between the two. At one point in the conversation I heard profanity when talking about my application, these people are not professional and have a lack of respect for customers. My opinion, LOOK FOR ANOTHER DEALERSHIP.
