I barely ever write reviews, but the experience I had at Island Subaru was so good I had to share. I recently purchased a used 2025 Subaru Ascent Onyx Edition Touring, and it was a completely flawless process. Henry and the sales manager, Engin, were absolutely amazing and worked with me to make sure I got exactly the deal I wanted. Yuri in finance was also fantastic—he actually managed to get my original rates lower, which made the deal even better. Transparent, stress-free, and highly recommended. I have been coming to Prestige Dubaru for almost 20 years. I had my last Subaru Legacy Wagon (2005) for 17 years because the Service Center is that good. I felt they were honest and never pushed unnecessary repairs. For example, one of my light covers was cracked and I asked them to replace it. They called me later and said they had done a test to see if it was still water tight and it was, so they didn’t think I needed to replace it. Saved me a lot of money.

I was able to get in touch with the BDC department. (My wife is a teacher so she barely gets time to do) I was delighted by the amount of information I could get from them just with one call. The gentleman I spoke on the phone his name is Kyle. He truly went above and beyond to get my wife everything she needed. Very professional and respectful. Able to accommodate my wife's schedule and mine to get an appointment. However, once we went to the store, we were not able to meet him in person because the salesperson told us that he just works in the BDC department. We wanted to thank him directly. Hope he also got the tip we left for him. Otherwise, thank you Bill for going over the many features of car we were looking to buy. Highly recommend Bill when purchasing a Subaru. Overly expensive (Over $300) for an oil change and inspection! 3 hour wait times and a 2% surcharge for using a credit card. I originally bought my car here when it was Colonial but now as Curry, they no longer value their customers. They used to be a friendly and caring place to go to but no longer.

Mark Mcbride was again so helpful when I brought in my vehicle. I called with a dead battery this morning and he advised me. When I brought it in, it was fixed in under an hour and he ran it through the car wash. He checked 2 key fobs to make sure they were charged. He always tries to get us the best price and schedule me when I can have a loaner. I asked my husband is there anything you want to tell Mark and he said , " No you're in good hands." If companies try to steal your employees don't let this one go! In addition the whole team there is equally amazing and I enjoy receiving the videos taken when you fix my car. Cindi F.

Erica, my sales agent, was friendly, patient and attentive. My kids actually loved the vehicle. Oh, and I believe I paid a fair price. Otherwise, I am fairly disgusted with Benedict. I live 40 minutes away, and Gordon didn't bother to really check on the vehicles I called about. It was two hours between our phone conversation and my appointment, and when I arrived he told me one of the vehicles actually sold the night before. I return the next day thinking I am going to complete a purchase with Erica only to discover a bank transfer (on my end) hadn't gone through. Again, 40 minute drive over, I didn't know what to do. I am discussing financing and personal options with Erica when Paul appears. He introduces himself as the sales manager, and he tells me to call if I have any questions, literally dismissing me from the dealership. Banking all settled, I return again the next day, and this time it's the warranty lady who merely grunts an "Ok" and walks away when I decline purchasing a warranty. No "Have a nice day," no "Are you sure?" Just nothing. Erica and I finalize my sale, and Erica walks me out to my new car. Paul, who is across the room, never acknowledges my existence. He doesn't approach me, he doesn't thank me for my business. He cared enough to kick me out when he thought I didn't have any money, but can't lower himself to shake my hand and appreciate that I came back and gave them my business. As for the vehicle itself, it hadn't been gone through, touched, detailed since before quarantine. The only thing they did between my test drive and purchase was clean off a bird dropping. The fluids weren't topped off, and the gas tank was at half. There are even a couple specks of paint chipped on the hood (most dealers would have touched that up). It's a 2019 so everything's relatively good, anyway, but the old-school buying a vehicle (even used) and feeling like you came straight out of the factory is apparently not a thing anymore, at least not with this dealership.

I bought my 2024 Subaru Impreza in July and recently hit 6K miles, prompting me to seek my first oil change, tire rotation, and a safety recall fix. After checking with various local Subaru dealerships, including Goldstein, Mackey, North Country, and finally Capitaland, I chose Capitaland due to a friendly and competitive service from Barry. I scheduled, dropped off the car, promised a 1.5-hour service and received a prompt call for pickup. Upon returning, I found the car ready but was disappointed to discover grease/oil stains on the driver's seat, oil/grease/dirt and scuff marks on the door sill, oil/grease/dirt on my new Weather Tech floor liner, and fingerprints on the windshield where the service reminder sticker was placed. Despite always keeping my car well-maintained, I had to address these issues with Darrel and Tony from the service desk. Although the problems were promptly resolved and I received an apology, the experience left me disappointed and frustrated. Vehicles are very expensive and when we place them into the hands of a dealership, a certain level of trust is granted. We customers expect that our investment will be respected and cared for with the utmost attention to detail. To add insult to injury. This morning, I noted oil/grease residue on the beige headliner of the driver side grab bar area and so I got to spend an hour of fun on my day off, cleaning up the grease. The service department is the heart of a dealership; the brand as a whole. Service is an opportunity for dealerships to highlight their strengths, technical skills/knowledge, attention to detail and respect for the product and their customers. Such experiences do have a negative impact on future purchasing decisions and it's unacceptable for people to spend money and have their vehicle disrespected. - Reusable/Washable Seat covers? - Paper floor liners? - Watch for placement of boots and hands? Is anyone in the service department performing a once over of a customer's vehicle to ensure everything is acceptable before the customer signs paperwork, pays for service and drives off? Overall, this was not a good experience and I'm hopeful this service department can do better in the future. If so, I will update my review to reflect the experience.

The reason for my great experience is due to one employee ( Salesman) Michael Howell. He is the reason I keep coming back to this dealership. He made my lease return and new lease so easy and hassle free. He is extremely knowledgeable with his products and features. He is not only a professional at his job, but also a kind man and willing to go the extra mile to take care of his customers. If you need or just looking for a new or pre owned vehicle, then this is where you go and who you need to see.

I bought a 2014 new Subaru. Salesman told me they don't negotiate price but that they would take great care of us (as in exceptional service.). I wanted to buy local and have good service so I paid the sticker price. I took the Subaru in for a $70.00 oil change and waited 2 1/2 hours! If I hadn't gone to the "service" counter I'd still be there waiting. Why would I want to recommend a business that just does not care about building relationships with customers from their community?
