We were driving up from New York to Stowe when our car completely broke down. The towing company/repair shop the car initially landed at said my car would need an entirely new engine. I can only say it was a miracle that brought our car to Jay and his team at Lambert Auto for a second opinion. Jay reviewed the car and said he would be able to replace a few parts and get the car working again – for literally 1/10th of the price. His colleague Stephanie worked relentlessly with our (terrible) warranty company on our behalf. Everyone was extremely responsive to us, empathetic and hard working.
Jay went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us. He not only correctly diagnosed and fixed our car quickly but went the extra mile. The only train we could catch up from NY got in at 6pm on a Saturday – two hours after closing time. Jay met us at the train station with the car and explained everything to us again in person.
Without going too much into the details, we put ourselves in a bad spot when we made a stupid mistake with the car later that night. On 8pm on a Saturday Jay answered our call and helped us, out of the kindness of his heart, way after working hours.
Jay and the team at Lambert Auto are kind, incredibly trustworthy, reliable, they will not rip you off and they know exactly what they’re doing. We would highly recommend working with Jay and Stephanie to have your car serviced – anything from an oil change to serious maintenance work or repair. You can trust this team 100%. If and when we are in that area of Vermont/New Hampshire again we will come back just for an oil change and to thank them again– I never want to have my car serviced any where else. Purchased a 2012 Jeep Liberty here, low miles and in great shape. 8 months later it needed over $4k worth of engine repair due to warped heads, no extended warranty. They fixed the vehicle and charged me $500 deductible and called it a goodwill repair. I didn’t even ask them, they offered this to me as an option. Never have I been treated so well at a dealership. In doing this they have retained a lifelong customer.

I recently purchased a used Ram truck from Tri City. Anne (my salesperson) was a pleasure to deal with. It's very important to me that when I make a major purchase, I'm dealing with someone who is down to earth. Anne treated me as a real person. I found her to be relatable, honest, and pleasant. Having sold cars myself, I understand that every business must make a profit and that trust is built over time in a relationship. I feel that Anne helped me get a fair and equitable deal on a fantastic product. I gave the purchase some thought, and typically when I buy vehicles I tend to be a little more aggressive. After thinking it over for a night, I returned the next morning feeling as if the deal they had offered on my trade in and the price of the vehicle was fair. When I returned that morning I was greeted as pleasantly as I was the night prior and Anne helped me work out a couple of kinks to make sure I was happy. The closing with Derek was pleasant and not at all a high pressure scenario, and I felt that I got supplemental products (GAP and Warranty, which I purchase 90% of the time) that fit my needs well and were fairly priced. Worst experience I've ever had.. These guys only care about closing the deal and will say what ever it takes to get you in a deal. Once you have signed, you are on your own. They are not truthful with their information and leave out a lot of details and hidden fees. Me, my family and friends will never go back.

Never bring your business here. The customer service is horrendous and the service department is even worse. I have a leased vehicle with suspension issues and I am now having to bring to a body shop and pay out of pocket to figure out the issues my jeep is having because they do not want to deal with it, nor want to hear my concerns. I will NEVER use this dealership or recommend to anyone.

I hope we have an option of give less then 1 ?. We brought our car for a service routine an 2 recalls and a check up on a engine noise that should be covered by 100.000 miles warranty. First I asked to get an estimate on some services that I all ready have quoted from other garage to compare bouth prices. The service advisor tould me that they don't need to have the first quote because sometimes "apples are not apples". After Allen Mello give me their quote I asked them to just proceed with the service that was covered by the warranty. I went to pick-up my car and they charged me for the job that was not authorized by me. The only job that I agree to pay is the air filter change, because was done and I didn't want to have taked off and go home. I tried to have my car, pay for service on the air filter and go home. The Service Advisor didn't allowed me to have my car. He informed me that only the GM have the power of authority to release my car. I called 911 to ask for help. Officers arrived shortly. The GM show up and didn't talk to me an after talk to the police officers the GM was on the phone making phone calls trying to find out how many ours they spent working on my car. The police officer tould me that Allen Mello have the right to hold my car. They could have my car untill the payment is done, according to "Mechanical Lien" law in NH. Even that I din't authorised the services, I made the payment to have my car and tould the GM that I will take them to the court. Please follow this review to see what the Judge decision about this case. 😞

Wouldn't honor previous deal after credit was pulled TWICE - reggie11
Had a deal worked up on a Ram 1500 but wasn't able to test drive the truck until the following week. Drove the truck and had a deal in place so I submitted a credit app and then when I verified the deal one last time they said part of the deal was not included anymore (making my last lease payment on my current car). Said that was a one day offer to get me to buy the truck last week (same month though) and they wouldn't honor it. This was done after they pulled my credit so the deal fell through.
They also pulled my credit TWICE. I have Tier 1 credit so there was no need to pull my credit twice. So now I have two hard inquires on my report on the same day for a deal that fell through because they wouldn't honor part of the deal from the previous week... Not happy at all
