My family and I live in Boston. We were driving from home to Crawford Notch for a holiday week when the transmission suddenly failed. We didn't know that yet, but we knew we couldn't keep going. We were about 100 miles from home and still about 80 miles from our destination, late in the afternoon 2 days before a holiday. Thankfully we were only about 4 miles from Belknap Subaru. I called the service department about 90 minutes before they closed, explained the situation, and the service advisor offered to have someone check out the car as long as we could get there in about 45 minutes. Well, AAA took much longer than that, so we had to wait until morning. We managed to get a ride to our destination and sure enough first thing the next morning, the day before a holiday, they checked it out and called me right away to tell me the problem. They sent photos and a description too. They offered us a loaner car -- of course another Outback -- and when I explained that we'd have to go back home to Boston and I wouldn't be able to come back for at least 6 days, the service advisor said not to worry, they had plenty of loaner cars, and I should come back whenever I could (once our car was fixed). They expected a bit of a delay with the holiday to get a new transmission shipped, saying it would take at least 7 or 8 days, but it was done in 6. I picked it up and it all seems good now. It was great to deal with such a pleasant service department during what could have been a terrible vacation.

Having to get a new vehicle was bitter sweet for me, as it was time for a new car, but sad having to give up my old one. Rowan Heard made it an enjoyable, easy, & non-intimidating experience. Other dealerships have been a bit too intense, but Rowan at McGovern made the whole process a complete enjoyment. Helped us work within our budget and was always honest. Best salesman at a dealer I've seen with real good energy. Rowan deserves big time raise.

My daughter bought a car as part of an interstate move to NH. It was a hectic, dynamic time for her. Cody Mundo was a great sales person; he took the time to listen to what she was looking for and help her make a good match on her first visit. He then stayed in touch with her (but not in an annoying way) while she managed her move, was flexible in working with her schedule and provided excellent customer service throughout the purchasing process. We very much appreciate his knowledge, transparency and positive demeanor. I would buy from Tricity again.

I had an unexpected and welcome experience with all of the staff here. Salesman Jack was always no-pressure and no nonsense. And also fun to work with;great (appropriate) sense of humor and also so knowledgeable about Subaru. Finance guy Rich was fun, intelligent and never tried to F*** me over as so many car finance people do. (One of my degrees is finance, so a pet peeve). I received an appropriate no hassle deal, the car was beautifully detailed, Jack customized all the media for me, and they filed the gas tank. Further they offer free car washes and great service plans. A Spinal Tap 11 of 10.

Do yourself a favor, and stay away from Exeter Subaru. Last visit (actually my only visit) was for an oil change and unexpectedly a running light bulb. I was charged just under $100 for an oil change (by far the most i have ever paid for that service) and $36 for a bulb. I know everything has become expensive but those prices are ridiculous. I won't be going back there.

It is a delight to go to Capitol City Subaru and see Josh about my car. They take really good care of my car and me too. I always feel safe in my car after my service when Josh takes the time to explain everything about my car that I need to know!

Avoid this dealership and service department. They will sell you an absolute lemon, with a slick smile, and expect you to be happy with it. The absolute bottom of the barrel beings populate this place. Shop for, purchase, and service your vehicle elsewhere. You'll be glad you did.
