Jaleil helped me find the car that I wanted that was close to my price range. He answered all of my questions and had a lot of knowledge about each vehicle that I looked at. He is an excellent sales representative!

Accolades and Dissection - amazinggrace2
I applaud Sport Durst for its diversity and professionalism. The employees provide great customer service, and the dealership provides jobs for many people who would otherwise be unemployed, but as with any car dealership, potential buyers should have already done their research before shopping. This means that you should already know what you want and how much you are willing and able to pay, what your trade is worth, and stick to your game plan. Workers have to be paid too, so the bottom line is that they have to watch their bottom line. Don't expect them to assist you to their own detriment. I had a plan when I went in, but did not stick to it. It is my own fault that the total exceeded my budget of $15.000 by about $4000. There were add-on items like service contracts and warranties that I had not figured in. I should have stuck to from my original plan.
Awesome Car Buying Experience! - Janet22
Went to Field's to purchase a new SUV. Joseph walked me through the process from start to finish. His attention was on my purchase and did not try to rush me or pressure me into making a quick decision.
Perfect Experience - sweets
Eddie Shaw is the most honest and pleasant car salesman I have ever dealt with hands down. Rob Kingel gave me a good deal on my used car and did just what he had said. I drove a long distance to get there and it was worth every mile. You will be glad you went here. No Pressure!!! These kind of employees say a lot about the dealership.
Thanks you so much Flow Mazda,
William and Susan
Outstanding Service - Jdm1314
I purchased my 2nd vehicle from Frema Motors and the service was outstanding as ever. My sales person McKayla Evans was extremely helpful and efficient from the very beginning of the sales process. She made the car buying process enjoyable. The sales and service employees at Frema Motors are always exceptional and go out of their way to provide the very best customer service. I recommend Frema Motors to anyone looking to purchase Mazda or Volkswagen vehicles, you will not be disappointed and you will get a great deal on your purchase.
Great Sales and service department - Duane777!
I loved when I came in that they offered me a loaner vehicle. They had a great seating area with free donuts and water. Loved the customer service!
Buying my new Mazda - Carol
From the time I walked into the dealership, everyone was friendly and helpful. I was welcomed to the dealership by Niko Vega. He introduced my to Betty Keith and Ernest Williams. They would help me with my car buying process. Betty and Ernest took me for a test drive, explaining the car features and answering any questions. Then we sat and discussed my car as a trade in and financing options, interest rates, etc. Throughout the process, they were friendly and very helpful in getting me the car I wanted at a monthly payment I could handle. Overall, this was a positive experience and I left with my new Mazda CX-5.
Great Purchase Experience - Tom in NC
Our purchase experience was very pleasant. The sales experience was low-key with no pressure and the salesperson, Rick, was very patient and informative. We decided to purchase a Mazda after comparison with two other competitors.
Professional and great follow thru - sdoumas
Chad and the team were very professional. Time is crucial to me and they did their due diligence to make sure this was an easy process from start to finish. I was looking for a specific car that I knew would be harder to find without doing a factory direct order which would take months. Chad did all of the background work and made it happen. Other dealerships had no interest in pursuing anything other than making easy money by only selling what was on their lot. They put the work in and got the sale and made a loyal customer.
Perfect Service - madza
Worked with the Mazda service mgr, Chad B, who kept me advised every step of the way as I waited to have my rear brake pads replaced. They did it quickly and test drove the car before handing it back to me. Chad is a good communicator who looks out for the customer's interests.
Great Sales and Service - GMC Mike
Purchased a certified pre-owned GMC Yukon with a great buying experience. Tried using another certified GM dealership for service and repairs convenient to my wife's work. Big mistake. Worth the drive back to Greenville for dependable and quality repair service with Greg at Brown and Wood.
Pleasurable car buying experience! - Debbie2019
We purchased our CX-9 from Todd Porter. He was very knowledgeable and took his time with us. Made us feel like our business was valued. Also dealt with Kevin (sales manager) and Clinton (floor manager). Can't say enough about how great everyone treated us. And we're loving the vehicle!
Looking for a used MX-5 - Dean
Contacted Independence Mazda about a used 2013 Mazda. Mike Brooks e-mailed me back with the Information And his personal phone number. He told me all about the car and we agreed on a price. We took the chance and drove the 100 miles. The used MX-5 was SHOWROOM condition, just like he said.
I've had some BAD experiences with other dealers but this was not one of them, Thanks MIKE, we had a good day.
10 days later, loan still screwed up - b506
Manager or loan finance person won't return promised callbacks. Purchased a new car. Bank says that they are an approved dealer. 5 days later, loan officer says that they aren't approved dealer. Talked with Manager, and he says that he will see to it. No return calls. Now Bank is sending me paperwork saying that its for a used car! ( It isn't)
Momentum Mazda and Toyota of Gastonia are sharing services while Mazda showroom is being remodeled. Apparently, Toyota doesn't know that Mazda is a preferred dealer status with Bank of A.
What should have been a smooth transaction has been F$%^ up since purchase.
Stay away from this dealership!!!

Can’t speak for buying a car but I can definitely say the... - Eric S
Can’t speak for buying a car but I can definitely say the service department is a joke. Based on this event we will never buy a car here.
They had my car for over 2 months with no communication. Me or my wife would call about a once a week for an update and they’d tell us they needed to speak with their regional service manager about a noise issue from the right rear suspension. On and on this went, literally for 2 months. At some point they blamed the part they needed being on backorder. They made us pick up the car before hurricane Dorian for liability reasons and a week and a half later called to say this magical part had arrived. Turns out it was a shock and a spring. The most basic of suspension components. It took almost 3 months to decide to replace those parts? Seriously? I pick it up feeling hopeful that this frustrating saga is over with and the issue is fixed. Nope. Worse than before. Go back by and Jay (who is a nice guy) promises me they’ll get it taken care of. I send a video of the noise issue plain as day. I wait over a week and call back in on a Monday after once again having heard nothing from them. Jay tells me I need to speak with the service manager, Jennifer, but she’s at lunch and he’ll have her call me back. Call
back Friday afternoon (exactly two weeks later) and speak with him. He puts me on hold to go find her. Comes back and says “I know we both heard the sound in the video, but she can’t hear it.” Basically, she won’t even show me the decency of taking my call. I’ve been beyond patient up until this point with their many shortcomings. He asks me to bring it back in and go for a ride along with both the tech and her. I’m now 3 months in to this issue and 2.5 months without the car. I have no more patience left for them and their inability to replicate the noise, when I can replicate it with ease every single day. The video I was courteous enough to record demonstrated the sound over and over again in succession. I’m now going to Kia corporate and will be working with the mid-Atlantic rep to pursue a resolution as well as file a warranty repair failure complaint against Kia of NB.
Outstanding service - mazdaman
I have a Mazda CX-5. Bought brand new from this dealership. I have always taken my vehicle to their service department for maintenance. Marshall and crew are outstanding. He always explains the work to me and gets me in and out in a timely manner. My neighbor has a Mazda that was bought in Greensboro and they hate taking their car in for service because, even with an appointment, they are sitting there for hours and the service department is always trying to get them to fix something that does not need fixing. Keep up the good work Dick Shirley Mazda Service department!!!!!
After 2 months we cannot drive our car. - blh
We purchased a Mazda CX-9 on August 20. First we had to fill out papers 3 times, because the "regular person" was not there, and left with our car at approximately 9:00 PM. We called our insurance company the following morning, so they of course provided information for August 21. The date inconsistency was finally figured out the final week in September. The car was registered to the state in early October, but the dealership did not pay the registration fee, even though we paid $680 for doc fees. So now our car is registered, but we cannot get the appropriate documentation for the car until we pay $506 to register it. The office person, Judy, did not do the correct work and is now on an extended absense and no one in the office has information. Our salesman has not returned our call. Germain White, whom we were told was the manager, told us today that he doesn't know what to do and we should call the corporate offices, which we did and have not had our call returned. No one has said "I will fix this"; no one will help. Meanwhile, our car sits in the garage because we cannot drive it. Cannot think of what to do, other than to find legal help.
waiting 4 repair 9 weeks & counting - FIXMYKIA!
Brought my Optima in for repair ( needs heater core) the week before Memorial Day; it was there over a week and they never got to it since they only have 1 mechanic who can do the work. I was told they would call me to get it in ..............still waiting today's date 7/19/16. SO WHERE DO I GO TO HAVE MY KIA FIXED??
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!DO NOT BUY - Tnisamartin
So in March I purchased a Saturn Sky from this place. The day after I drove it off the lot my tire was flat the rim had rusted out and was allowing air in. I have to replace the rims and that tire. In April my brakes went out and the rotor how is this possible? Another event in April my insurance cards were sent in the mail as my renewal was scheduled, guess what? I didn't even have insurance on my new car????? the day I made the purchase when I asked about the the vin number and other particulars the salesperson said he had already talked to my insurance and I was good to go..... NOT ! I went back to the dealership and everyone treated me like "what's the big deal?" I tried calling the general manger and the owner not one return call. This car has caused me more money in 10 months than I spent on my 2000 Toyota Celica which I drove for over 10 years. thank God I still have it or I would be taking the bus. I am soooo disappointed in the way they have treated me and the fact that I now have a basically useless car. It looks good but it has one problem after the next. I have to have over $600 dollars worth of work done next weekend and that brings the grand total to $2500 in 10 months of repairing a lemon. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. People ask me about this car everyday because it's a beautiful car and I am more than happy to share the whole pathetic story with them . Trust me I talk to a lot of people and I hope people know that you can and should have any car you are thinking about buying inspected by an independent party. MY BAD
