The service department is second to none. I had a major issue come up with my vehicle just outside of warranty. Johnson Motor Company was able to repair my truck the same day I brought it in even though the part required was on national back order. The best part, they were able to convince GM to cover the repair even though my vehicle was 7,000 miles outside of my preowned warranty. Very impressed!

I wanted a car that was over 300 miles away. Robbie was able to send someone to get it over a holiday weekend. He also ordered custom items for me and took care of me before and after the sale. He took the time to go over the many features of the car twice and was very patient and kind throughout the process. He replied to phone calls and texts expeditiously and I highly recommend him.

I had been texting and calling Damian from their Internet sales team. I told him the car I want and where it was located and the bottom line price other dealers had offered me with a trade in of my car. I even had it in writing and he assured me they would meet or possibly BEAT that price, but I would have to go there in person. He knew the other dealers were willing to come to me, but insisted it had to be done this way and would be well worth my time. It was a complete and utter lie. When I got there, Jerry Hadwin, the owner, said no way can they match the other deal and would not even meet me halfway in price. He said it just was not worth his time. So after all the texts, calls, emails, lies and empty promises by Damian, I went home and asked Bell and Bell if they could accommodate me and they did. I love my new car and Bell and Bell has earned my business and I have told many people to go there and stay away from Hadwin-White. Other people had warned me about Hadwin-White's misleading practices, but I had to experience it for myself and regret wasting all my time with them.

My recent visit I was greeted by Taylor the salesman. He was dressed in a button down shirt what about three buttons unbutton leaving his chest fully exposed like he was going to a nightclub on a date. I explain to him that my wife I just had dental surgery and I wanted to test drive a truck we took a short drive and I told him I was taking my wife home to Somerville and I would return to talk about this truck in the please hold it. Upon my return when I start to negotiate the price the price listed on the Internet page was 20 999, however Taylor brought out a sheet with 20 199 on it and then money taken off to reflect the Internet price. I must say I gave to counter offers and both format or resistance and negative body language! Then another sales person came out and explain to me that they could not go any lower on the price listed and made excuses for why! You made it very clear what I was willing to pay and what I thought was a reasonable offer in hopes that they would counter offer a little bit. No such luck! I was very unhappy as I’d already driven an hour and total time And waste another two hours of my time trying to buy this truck. Very disappointed in the salesmanship!

I can recommend this dealership for service only, they do a satisfactory job; not exactly the best, and sometimes take too long to get the job done. If you have a good relationship with them, you can get away with most aftermarket modifications on the vehicle without any problems of refused warranty work. Sales on the other hand, they are too uptight on the pricing and the salespersons do not do a good job to make you feel important enough to call you once a vehicle is available, etc. I ended up buying my car from a dealership about an hour away because I could actually haggle a price on it.

Bad at honoring Appointment made at least 30 days in advance for car repairs or Maintenance. I have waited for 60 days after 2 appointments were dropped due to The front desk Secretary's not calling to confirm online appointment and appointment made in person to repair radio wiring.

I live a 3 hour drive away from the dealer...I have a physical problem that makes a drive like that almost impossible. James Cristos was willing to drive the car I wanted TO ME! I had been looking for a vehicle that was comfortable for me to ride in for 3 months, visiting many dealers and trying countless number of makes and models. Although I found something before he could help me, I would highly recommend him. He was always available to answer questions and very patient.

Wakefield Automotive was great to deal! Jay Wakefield and his staff are tremendously friendly. They were able to locate the exact truck that I was looking for and we negotiated over the phone. I did not step foot in the dealership until I picked up the vehicle. Jay was quick to return phone calls or would even text me to say that he would call me back soon.
There were no processing fees and they gave me the best price out of all the dealers in the upstate SC area.
They didn't push any "extra" packages on me. I have even had some followup conversations with them after the sale.
You can't go wrong in dealing with Wakefield Buick GMC. They were highly recommended to me and I highly recommend them if you are in the market for a new vehicle!
