Good Experience - Annamarie
We would give Woody our Salesman 5 stars. He was very helpful!
Our whole experience at Bell and Bell was very positive.
The final paper work lady was great. Very good at what she does. She even came in on her day off to make sure we had everything we needed.
Lamont helped us with some of the things on the information. He made sure we knew how to use the things we were not sure about.
Used car buying experience - Beachbummb
I went to this dealership as they had a specific vehicle I was looking for used. The sales associate, Johnathan Martin was kind, courteous, and responsive. It was a warm day so he invited us into his office and gave us some cold bottled water. This was a no pressure sale and I did my homework before purchasing. I told him what I wanted to pay and after a little haggling he and the sales manager agreed. When I picked up the car, it was detailed and gassed up. Thanks again for an easy and friendly buying experience. Overall experience was excellent.
Very Impressed - bigcity
The service department is second to none. I had a major issue come up with my vehicle just outside of warranty. Johnson Motor Company was able to repair my truck the same day I brought it in even though the part required was on national back order. The best part, they were able to convince GM to cover the repair even though my vehicle was 7,000 miles outside of my preowned warranty. Very impressed!
They can’t be beat! On any level! - Two Time Buyer
I wanted a new GMC Denali 1500. ( my second one from Pro). Pro didn’t have one onsite but found it while I was there. A few days later I was in the perfect truck. Got more than I expected for my trade in and a great reasonable and honest price on the new one. if you are shopping, do yourself a favor and give them a chance to bid your vehicle. You won’t regret it. The follow up service is five star also!!
A Great Experience - Lkirk21
Great group to deal with from Mrs. Ann in scheduling a time to Wayne Handling the sale of my new Sierra 2018, he was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. I recommend this dealership for your new vehicle.
Definitely will come back to buy more vehicles.
Excellent experience - CG
Truly professional staff who went all out to make the entire purchasing of a new vehicle a piece of cake. I would highly recommend to all of my friends an associates, when looking for a vehicle to definitely give Jim Hudson the first shot, because they would not regret it.

Shady sales - Dave
Tried to buy a truck on Monday Nov 5 afternoon. Picked one out, talked through the numbers.
The Used car sales manager is the one I talked with, not the New. I wonder why? Here’s what I believe.
The truck I had picked out was the only one I saw without the factory sticker in the window. I asked 2 different people to see it multiple times and was told varying stories as to its status. The only thing ever produced was a printout on 0plain paper.
I understand it’s a Federal law that the Ronroney sticker can only be removed by the buyer.
Here’s the kicker, as an option in trying to get to a lower sales $, BT (used car sales manager - I wonder why? No ronroney sticker!) sheepishly informed me the vehicle had a scratch in the parking lot when it was being pulled out by a salesman (but it had since been repaired). He wouldn’t tell me where or the type repair done.
This should have been revealed at the onset of the sales process. Had I agreed to a higher price early on, they would have never told me. Why? Because it was a card they were holding out during the negotiation process and played it when they wanted to.
He suggested I throw a low ball # ($33k) for the truck as a result. I told him that was shady and how disappointed I was that this was just now coming up. His quick defense was that it’s just where we were in the process. Disagree. I stuck with my original # (37500) and was informed they couldn’t budge.
So I walked and did not purchase a “new” truck that had already been in their shop for repair - undisclosed until they thought it was appropriate.
Beware of a 2018 blue Silverado 1500 Z71 at this dealer.
Finally, the “joking and smoking” that went on in the glass office while I was patiently waiting for BT “to review with his boss” is insulting and disrespectful.
Thanks for coffee guys!
Service to vehicle - JennyM
Jennifer made me feel comfortable walking into the service department. She was both inviting and knowledgeable. She handled the service to my car quickly and efficiently.
Horrible Experience - DanHuggins
I’ve had a horrible experience with the sales department at Baker Buick GMC Cadillac. I purchased a preowned 2015 Sierra, as well as a bumper to bumper warranty with the additional option for aftermarket suspension. The day after I left I noticed some noises coming from the suspension. I brought it in to get looked at and to speak with my salesman and sales manager about repairing the truck. Turns out they sold me a truck with a lift kit that was poorly installed and the only way to fix it is to remove the lift and restore to factory suspension. The sales people are making me come out of my own pocket to restore factory suspension instead of resolving the problem. The majority of the reason I purchased this truck was the way it looked so now I have to come out of pocket to fix it and it won’t even look the same as it did when I bought it. I do not recommend doing business with this dealership to anyone, they do not do business honestly, nor do they care about customer satisfaction.
I can recommend this dealership for service only, they do... - ls2gto
I can recommend this dealership for service only, they do a satisfactory job; not exactly the best, and sometimes take too long to get the job done. If you have a good relationship with them, you can get away with most aftermarket modifications on the vehicle without any problems of refused warranty work. Sales on the other hand, they are too uptight on the pricing and the salespersons do not do a good job to make you feel important enough to call you once a vehicle is available, etc. I ended up buying my car from a dealership about an hour away because I could actually haggle a price on it.
Purchased a used Chevy Silverado - Sum123
Got a quote online from Nicki Moore...Gave me a great price, told him I would submit an online credit application. Emailed me back 30 minutes later with a great deal - good rate, low payments - took in a trade that I was way upside down on. Came into the dealership at 5pm and was gone with my new truck by 5:38pm.
Great people to deal with.
Customer Service Failure - Frank Banks
Bad at honoring Appointment made at least 30 days in advance for car repairs or Maintenance. I have waited for 60 days after 2 appointments were dropped due to The front desk Secretary's not calling to confirm online appointment and appointment made in person to repair radio wiring.
James Cristos, wonderful to deal with - Terry Graber
I live a 3 hour drive away from the dealer...I have a physical problem that makes a drive like that almost impossible. James Cristos was willing to drive the car I wanted TO ME! I had been looking for a vehicle that was comfortable for me to ride in for 3 months, visiting many dealers and trying countless number of makes and models. Although I found something before he could help me, I would highly recommend him. He was always available to answer questions and very patient.
Best Dealer in Upstate SC - joel_taylor
Wakefield Automotive was great to deal! Jay Wakefield and his staff are tremendously friendly. They were able to locate the exact truck that I was looking for and we negotiated over the phone. I did not step foot in the dealership until I picked up the vehicle. Jay was quick to return phone calls or would even text me to say that he would call me back soon.
There were no processing fees and they gave me the best price out of all the dealers in the upstate SC area.
They didn't push any "extra" packages on me. I have even had some followup conversations with them after the sale.
You can't go wrong in dealing with Wakefield Buick GMC. They were highly recommended to me and I highly recommend them if you are in the market for a new vehicle!
