BUYER ALERT for Lithia Motors. - jasons024
BUYER ALERT for Lithia Motors. Purchased a undisclosed hail damaged truck (shown to me dirty) once i saw the damage (after they cleaned it and next day) i was given a 3rd party tp deal with who gave me the run around for months (which i'm told is common) and then needed to care for a family member with cancer on top of being a single father with a 18month old at home. I tried to call the dealer several times and Rich Thomas the sales manager told me they would not cover it now. I left severla messages for Eric Kinkead the Gen Mgr which were never returned. I reached out to Lithia HQ and customer support who never got back to me and Bob Bareil the regional controller (in a last attempt for support) who also said the stealership (no typo) said no. Now i have to file a small claims lawsuit to get back some of the damages. NEVER BUY HERE!!!!!
SALES DEPT LACKS INTEGRITY! - Mike Petrella
SALES DEPT LACKS INTEGRITY! BEWARE! Ball Toyota of Charleston, WV sales manager Jeff Mihelich approved a one-day hold on a 2022 Highlander Hybrid Platinum for my 74-year-old father. His salesperson, Jacob Frazier, texted total pricing info and a promise to send a link to fill out credit info to complete the transaction. FIVE minutes after receiving the text (we have screen shots), Mr. Frazier texted back indicating the car was sold to another buyer. If you read nothing else, at least you now know the risks you take when shopping for a car at Ball Toyota of Charleston WV. If you want the details, keep reading. Mr. Frazier never informed my father of any other interested parties. My father had gotten deep enough into the negotiations to have a quote that included local taxes and desired down payment. I’m sure at this point you, as my father, would have believed you were in the process of purchasing a car. Unfortunately, that is not how they do business at Ball Toyota of Charleston, WV. On behalf of my father, I called Ball Toyota asking for the manager who okayed the deal and thereby breaking his word to my father. Mr. Mihelich said, “You’re an out of state buyer. We’ll never see you again.” Clearly, he was not concerned about the unethical transaction. Mr. Mihelich now says that the hold was contingent upon an approved credit application, which was never the case. However, even if it was, he still approved the sale of the car to another customer while working on paperwork with my father. At the end of the day, both Mr. Mihelich and Mr. Jacobs apparently feel no remorse over this unethical transaction. We never received an apology from anyone and Mr. Mihelich actually tried to blame the failed transaction us, the customer. Not sure what we did wrong. All they gained was selling the car maybe 30 min sooner (or perhaps there was another incentive we aren’t privy to. I do wonder about that one). We will obviously find the car eventually at another dealership that, hopefully, has more of a moral compass. However, we just wanted all potential Ball Toyota of Charleston WV customers to know how they treated at least one of their potential customers.

Wonderful experience working with Zane at UT. Very professional, easy to reach (including by text message), and answered all of my questions. They did not have the exact vehicle I was interested in and proceeded to get it from another dealer in a timely manner. They let us bring the vehicle home to try it out before deciding on the purchase. Thanks UT for the great customer service.

I was fortunate enough to reach out to J.D.Byryder to possibly get a car approved for me. I have been without a car for several months. I lost my car due to low hours and this whole covid pandemic. I was very fortunate to reach a very understanding agent by the name of Tess. She was amazing and I would have never dreamed that it could happen for me … she is a miracle worker and I thank her with all of my heart for giving me the opportunity to rebuild my credit as well as my life. I would highly recommend this company especially her if you are in need of a great used vehicle.

I purchased a car from JD byrider I recently paid it off a 2011 Chrysler I put my car in the shop in September to get it fixed before I pay the vehicle off in November 16 discovered that the alternator wasn’t changed call JD Byrider they tell me it wasn’t anything I can do because I paid the car off so I asked for inventory on the paper on the part on did they order which is supposed to be an alternator and battery alternator never was replaced discovered yesterday the batter was never change as well I’m loyal to JD Byrider I have to pay my car off I turned around and bought a Toyota Camry from now and I’ll do respect if you take your car to get fixed make sure your part is being changed in the process of them telling me that they did change it they said I didn’t pay anything for them to do the work if I didn’t pay. JD byrider don’t do any work without paying so that’s why my part was never put on my vehicle of course the part was ordered I have paperwork showing that they ordered the parts but the part was never put on my vehicle I don’t trust them they’re not loyal I never was late with my car payments always on time. I thought pay for this vehicle I will no longer purchase any more vehicles from JD Byrider I wouldn’t send anyone else up there to purchase a vehicle from JD byrider.. They have the staff train to be liers. Make sure you check behind them cause I will be every time they tell me they change a part I’m taking my car the dealership to check behind them. I don’t feel safe knowing they not changing parts.

Where do I start? Astorg WRECKED my vehicle and is not honorably making it right. I was told they have "expenses" and selling a car at their cost is "unfair" to them. I've dealt with this dealership for seven years. Always had great service when it came to oil changes etc. The first time THEY do something wrong, it's MY burden??!! I am absolutely appalled by their behavior and lack of customer service. Not sure how they stay in business. Beware of allowing them to drive your vehicle.
I always get great service from the service department. - Michelle Haught
I always get great service from the service department. I've never had any problems from them. This is my second car through JD Byrider. I recommended my son to go to them and he got a vehicle .

THIS GUY RYAN NEEDS TO BE REALLY COMMENDED FOR HIS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. To rate a place of business 5 stars is saying that they were darn near perfect. Well my visit today consisted of my 3rd vehicle purchased with in a 8 year period. Fortunately this guy named Ryan had sold me all 3 hehicles. Let me say that he has to be the most well manored, polite and very professional at this job. Definitely not a regular car salesman he cares about the customer and what he puts them in to drive. He gets a 5 star rating. Now I can tell you that Charles in the service department is also worthy of these 5 stars with his work of excellence. Great mechanic !! And the total service from the garage is and always has been EXCELLENT!! IHAVE NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THESE GREAT AND VALUABLE EMPLOYEES. I WILL RETURN.
THANK YOU GUYS
Great dealer - Vivian
I recently bought a 2013 Subaru Legacy from Logan Motor. They provide high quality car and excellent after purchase customer service. I highly recommend this dealer to my friends and relatives.
Great dealership - diana07
From the start Jeff and Cheryl were as kind and helpful as they could be. They worked to put me in the perfect car for me and within my budget. They bent over backwards to repair or replace a few things I mentioned were in need of attention and made sure I was satisfied. If anyone asks, I will highly recommend them!
Not good service - wvfallguy
I bought 2 auto's from them and contact to have back up cameras put in them. They picked the service company to do the work. Now I am having trouble getting my auto home. They new that I live alone and had no way to get it by myself. I would not buy anything from them. They do not care about after the sale. I will not buy any more from the Moses auto group
Victory Dodge Chrysler Jeep - Service after the sale BAD - matt1234
This dealership changed hands and is now Victory Dodge
I bought a truck at Victory, and I was pretty pleased. Until I have seen their service after the sale attitude. They were nice as can be when they are tying to sell you something. But after, beware. I bought it out of state, so I have to get an inspection done in my state. When I took it there, it failed because there were holes in the rocker panel. They neglected to tell me that the running boards were ripped off the trunk in an accident fashion. When the running boards were ripped off, it left behind big holes where the bolts were ripped from the rocker panel.
I called the sales guy, and he told me they would not do anything for me because they lost money on the deal. That's not my fault they priced the truck wrong. The salesman got rude with me, he actually said "you bought a used truck, you are a grown man and can make your own decisions," who says that to a customer... then said have a nice day and hung up on me. I mean, it only took three days for him to finally answer his phone after multiple voicemails. All I want is the holes patched. I got a local estimate and it was only $350. Fix it or reimburse me either way is fine. I don't think my request was off base. Its not like I asked them to put brand new step sides on it. It is a matter of safety. Fumes could leak into the cab. They sold me a truck that will not pass a yearly inspection. Not to mention these open holes will probably start to rust, if they aren't already. I will be reaching out to the owner, and I have already filled out the paper work for the attorney general in WV. Once I get all the copies they require, I will mail it out.
I am not the type to ever complain about businesses, or people. Everyone has a bad day, but after telling my story to a few people, I am going to take action this time. I just cannot believe the way they talked to me. Raising his voice and hanging up on me is just an unacceptable way of doing business. You'd think I was taking money out of his pocket. I like my truck, I just want a basic thing fixed, not the attitude and rudeness that comes along with it. People can go buy a car or truck anywhere, now a days its reputation that matters. So good luck.
Dan needs a raise for how much they took me for! - Br1224
I brought my Colorado into them for the airbag light. It spit out the code for the passenger airbag connector or/and airbag. I chose just to replace the connector. That didn’t fix the problem. I drove less then 5 minutes and light came on. I was then told I needed a 920 airbag with 200 install. That repair didn’t make it 3 minutes down the road. The miscommunication between the service manager and technician was horrible. Dan told me at one point there was a way to test the airbag and had to be corrected by the tech. I was told by Dan that airbag light was coming on and off when tech moved the connector during airbag repair. The tech the next day said it was staying on solid. I jumped on Dan that if it was bad connector I should be refunded for airbag. That in my opinion is why the story changed come Friday when I picked up my vehicle. Dan offered to run new wiring from airbag to module under seat. The tech said he felt he could do this with a coat hanger without having to take my carpet up. I left with my truck. The best choice I could of made. It is now in a different shop and low and behold the new tech can just wiggle connector and get it to come on and off. He took dash apart and as you see in the pictures two wires to the connector aren’t attached. If this connector would of been done right I wouldn’t have 1,100 in on airbag repair. Anthony Chevrolet is refusing to return any money. I believe Dans original statement about being able to shake the connector last Thursday. Then changing the story come Friday. If another tech can shake it and the pictures show messed up wires well you be the JUDGE! The icing on the cake though is every other dealer I called and spoke to there service managers said that the old airbag is mine. Well isn’t it convenient Anthony Chevrolet won’t give me back my old airbag that never went off. They claim hazardous materials even though they will sell me a new one to walk out of the dealership with and junkyards sell used ones. This was a poor quality repair and there solution of using a hanger to run wires was another example of them trying to cut corners. The other dealerships I called said carpet would need to come up to see properly. This wouldn’t of fixed the problem anyways when you have a connector that looks like this. Thank you Anthony Chevrolet for your excellent and outstanding job on this repair!
Treats customers like family! - Joel Gazal
I bought a 2012 Ford Explorer Limited and I love it! The owner worked with me on my trade in even though i still owed money on it and I got a great deal! When I left with my new car, something went wrong with the Ford Sync system. I called the owner, Robbie, on my way back to Pittsburgh and he took care of everything. He had someone drive 2 hours to my house, pick up my car, leave me a reliable loaner and completely replaced the Sync system free of charge. He gave me his personal cell phone number and kept me up to date with the repairs and when it was finished, drove the car all the way back to Pittsburgh for me. Even though something went wrong with my new car, i had no doubt that Robbie would get everything taken care of for me. He treated me as if I was his most important customer and made sure that I was taken care of. The car works perfectly and I couldn't be happier. I recommend Auto Junction in Grafton WV to everyone looking for a quality car and great customer service. I will definitely be shopping here again when I'm ready to buy another vehicle. They treat every customer like they were family and I can't recommend them enough if you are in the market for a great used vehicle. Thank you, Robbie, as well as everyone else at Auto Junction for everything you did for me to make sure I was taken care of. I love the Explorer and can't wait to come back when my wife needs a new car. You guys are the best!!

Broke down in two days - CMoore
I purchased a car through their Bridgeport location, and was originally impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They were willing to negotiate price and even stayed late to complete the paperwork.
HOWEVER, the 2016 car I bought started having issues the first day I drove it, and wouldn't even start within a few days. After getting stranded and several failed attempts to get it serviced (they had trouble accessing the warranty they sold me), I was told the problem was likely a recalled part. I specifically asked the salesman about this recall and he said it had been taken care of, so quite concerning that they either 1) lied or 2) don't have up-to-date info on their own cars.
After some forceful phone conversations, I got a free oil change to "compensate" me for the hassle. The service center at their White Hall location was easy to work with, but it took a week to get the car back and it was dirty with an empty gas tank. No one from Dan Cava’s customer service followed up with me, otherwise I would have been willing to negotiate for not giving them bad reviews.

Have owned automobile 2 1/2 months. In first 2 weeks I had to pay $400 for towing and part replacement, Larry Dawson Auto did not feel responsible for repair. I called them about service traction sys. and service stability system warnings coming on and again "not their responsibility". Before I bought automobile I took it for a test drive and I had mentioned it shook some when brakes were applyed, salesman said he would have it checked and that it was just out of alignment, now I find out front and rear rotors are warped. Between the electrical modules and rotors needing replaced the total for the repairs will be + $2000. I bought a newer vehicle so I would NOT have to keep throwing money into one. So you can say I definately am not a fan of Larry Dawson Auto Sales.
