Poor communication between the myriad departments. Sales has no idea what financing is doing and service has no idea what sales promised. Vehicles are “inspected” before sale but still have seriou Sales has no idea what financing is doing and service has no idea what sales promised. Vehicles are “inspected” before sale but still have serious obvious issues and legitimate safety concerns. When asked to fix these issues the offer the easiest and cheapest fix to hope you will go away. When pressed they will begrudgingly attempt to fix the concerns. Be prepared to leave your vehicle for a week or more just to find that whatever was supposed to be fixed is still busted. I purchased a “certified” vehicle on Sunday. Monday morning I found a serious issue. Monday night after about three hours at the dealer they had offered to remove the component in question, which I declined. When I stated I didn’t want the vehicle I. Said condition they finally agreed to do the absoloute minimum- fix the issue. Over a week later I get a call saying vehicle was fixed. It was not. After speaking to several people; the certified tech that “inspected” the vehicle yet missed the obvious and easily apparent signs of Significant damage, the tech that “fixed” the damage yet had no idea that the component directly next to the damaged one was also damaged and the service supervisor who called me a liar and suggested that the essentially brand new paint was “peeling” rather than melted off the vehicle, I finally got to speak to someone after a couple hours. The mew guy had no idea about the situation. Walked up and shook my hand while asking if everything had been resolved. Now again I have to bring my vehicle back- this time for what’s apparently going to be a significant repair and likely very time consuming including body part removal, paint, and electrical work. But again back to the original point; if the vehicle actually had been inspected they would have known it was not fit for sale. More
