30 Years of Satisfaction as a Don Ayres Honda owner I have owned a Honda ('04 Accord at present time) since 1984. The main reason for my satisfaction is the Service Department. He is the warmest and the most capable service technician I have ever encountered: knowledgeable, up-to-date training, professional, and personal. Doug Settle is master Service Manager, without a doubt the most competent person in my 30 years of experience. He expects excellent performance from his team. It is obvious that he is respected for his professional and personal interest in his employees and those whom he serves as customers. My deceased wife was an enthusiastic and satisfied customer and considered Dave Steenport to be the person we would miss the most if we ever relocated. Two of my three daughters are Don Ayres Honda owners -- one lives near Atlanta, and the other in Gurnee, IL. The latter receives all of her service on her Honda ('06) from Dave Steenport through Doug Settle. I would definitely recommend this dealer Was on the market for a commuter car and after doing thorough searches online I arrived at a 2010 Honda Civic (Certified) that Don Ayres had listed wh Was on the market for a commuter car and after doing thorough searches online I arrived at a 2010 Honda Civic (Certified) that Don Ayres had listed which was very competitively priced. I live about 75 miles from the dealership so I called first and then went up the following day to take a look and test drive. The car appeared to be in great shape and, after a little negotiating, I was able to settle on a price I was happy with. After I got the car home I noticed part of the front bumper panel had popped out and that some pieces surrounding it were not bound together as they should have been. I contacted Darrin Bickel, who was very responsive, and he advised to bring the car up so they could take a look. I had already planned to take another trip up so they could do some paint touch ups, so this was no problem. I was a little disappointed to find out that they didn't fix it in the service shop, but instead they had the paint guy make an attempt to set the parts back together. I was open to giving them the benefit of the doubt so went on my way, but the piece had popped out again by the time I reached home. However, I persisted, again working with Darrin, and he linked me up with the service manager, Doug Settle. I made arrangements with him to make another trip up to Ft Wayne so he could take a look and determine the best route from there. He took a look and within about 30 minutes he had the problem fixed at no additional cost to me (and a car wash too). All other aspects of the car so far I've been completely satisfied with. I would definitely recommend this dealer (and Darrin Bickel in particular) to friends and family, and I will consider doing business with them again for future car purchases, even though it's somewhat of a hike for me. More

I have been treated as a valued customer when I returned for service and a check up on a slight problem. Everything was resolved to my complete satisfaction both times. It was quick and efficient and friendly. Dillon Steenport handled my problem, he was courteous and friendly. In other visits I have had dealings with the service manager and it was most satisfactory. I have recommended family and friends to Don Ayres and they are also most satisfied with the after sale service. Obviously the sale itself was satisfactory or I would not have purchased from Don Ayres, although they came highly recommended by other friends. More
