The Finance Team was able to make the numbers work so that we could complete the sale. This all took place after closing hours and the vehicle was prepared for us to take home on Saturday evening. Very satisfied with the professional service that we received and would recommend this dealership to others. More

I had a very disappointing experience at MBOTW. In 2016, I purchased a brand new G63 when the dealership was fairly new and had an excellent experience. When I decided to purchase the new G63 I decided go I purchased a brand new G63 when the dealership was fairly new and had an excellent experience. When I decided to purchase the new G63 I decided go back to MBOTW again even though I don’t live near their location. I was told there was a 1.5 - 2 year wait list to order the G63 so I got on the list and patiently waited. When I finally ordered I was told that the G63 is now selling for $40K over MSRP. They never told me when I got on the wait list that they would be changing the price of the car by the time I got to order two years later. Had I known this, I would have picked any other Mercedes dealership in Houston because they are not charging over MSRP to their wait list customers (I called all to confirm). It took 5 phone calls and the course of a week to sort out this issue. At one point, one of the managers I spoke to offered to sell it to me for $20K over MSRP instead! I finally talked to the General Sales Manager who was very apologetic and said they would honor the original pricing (MSRP). Then, 3 months later, the car arrives and come to find out they installed silver brake calipers even though I ordered red. The salesman told me that the factory ran out of red calipers so they just put on what they have (other dealerships have told me this is false information). I went through all my emails and confirmed that I did in fact order red brake calipers per the order sheet I approved. A later email I found had the order codes from their end and showed that the salesman incorrectly ordered the calipers to be silver. After asking the salesman about it he had the service department call me who offered to replace the brake calipers for $2,000 per caliper! It’s quite disappointing that they made a mistake on their end but I was having to bear the cost and they made no attempt to rectify the situation. Long story short – This is not the kind of experience you want when spending $180K on a car after waiting two years. Order at another dealership so you don’t have to worry about the price changing on you and your order coming in incorrectly and having no recourse. I am giving them 2 stars since they ended up honoring the MSRP price in the end. More
