wrote the 5 star review exactly 1 month ago and need to revise it. I traded in my TOYOTA RAV 4 at the dealership and was told I’d receive proof that my car was paid off within about 10 days. I CONTINUALLY revise it. I traded in my TOYOTA RAV 4 at the dealership and was told I’d receive proof that my car was paid off within about 10 days. I CONTINUALLY CALLED Ryan who was my initial contact person . I realize this task is certainly not in his department. The reason I traded in my RAV to this specific KIA DEALERSHIP is because they assured me it would be a smooth transition as MORGAN AUTO GROUP ALSO OWNS A TOYOTA DEALERSHIP. Well, 2 weeks went by and my payment was due on September 15th. I called SETF and was told that they hadn’t received payment. I have an 850 plus credit score snd have never been late on any payment. I continued to call and a gal in Finance, Lisette told me the check was overnighted on 9/24 and would arrive on 9/25. I again called SETF only to be told, the check hadn’t arrived. Last night I got an EMAIL saying YOUR ACCOUNT IS DELINQUENT! I’m furious and should never have believed the old adage “ Your check is in the mail.” This is the first time in my past 4 leases that I did not trade in my car on another TOYOTA. I love my new KIA SPORTAGE but should have waited until my lease was up. I googled my VIN and see my RAV FOR SALE on their website. IF MY ACCOUNT ISNT CLEARED ON MONDAY, I’ll be contacting an attorney an 8 on Your Side. Shame on me at my age and experience in purchasing and Leasing Automobiles, BELIEVING THIS NONSENSE! DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Thsnk goodness I HAVE A PAPER TRAIL OF THESE CORRESPONDENCES AS THIS HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE! I will update this review when I am free and clear of my lease and my credit score remains stellar. More
