Poor communication, and lack of transparency from the sales/finance team. I was put in a car that had many issues , and no one cared to share what they knew given they knew what have children but as long sales/finance team. It’s so stressful when you can’t get anyone to help you over the phone being on hold for 40 mins or more being transferred to so many people (more 5) each time explaining your issues and can’t get help. Communication is so bad issues come up on the dealer side and finance and they make the issue about you they handle issues like it’s not a big deal it is a big deal people come to get help and to get a reliable transportation when the customer has to be on hold that many times and then still with no results it becomes an issue this place is a joke they don’t consider inconsistent on the dealers part and inconvenience on the customers I will never buy or recommend anyone to this place again I recommended someone here a day after I got my car and never again I feel bad cause he was done worse than I was he actually had to drive 3 hrs just to get it resolved and he called and was put on hold more than me this place is a joke More

Myself and wife went in to trade our 2023 sorento sx for the 2026 carnival. I was told trade or lease. I said either. They came back and told us to surrender the sorento to Kia I wasn’t told how that works. the 2026 carnival. I was told trade or lease. I said either. They came back and told us to surrender the sorento to Kia I wasn’t told how that works. We thought we’re just leasing was fine by us. Then after two weeks I was getting numerous calls. I spoke to the finance department for Kia they ask me where’s the car I told its at the dealership. The dealership never call the finance department that they had the car for 3 months. The finance department told me there going to auction off the car and if there is a balance of he value I was liable for it. The dealership team never explained how that works. There were just wanted to get the sale and screw us over. I will never purchase a car for them. More

Predatory and Unethical Practices – Elderly, Ill, and Non-English Speaker Exploited I am writing this on behalf of my elderly godparents, who were recently subjected to an appalling experience at Port Non-English Speaker Exploited I am writing this on behalf of my elderly godparents, who were recently subjected to an appalling experience at Port Charlotte Kia. My godfather, who speaks very limited English and was in poor health, was left in the dealership for over 5 hours—while under medication—only to be pressured into signing off on over $10,000 in unnecessary add-ons he neither understood nor needed. The finance manager repeatedly told him to "just check, check, check" with no clear explanation, fully aware of his confusion and vulnerability. This was not a mistake—it was a deliberate manipulation of someone too sick and trusting to defend himself. To make matters worse, they failed to transfer the tag from his trade-in vehicle, creating further confusion and stress after the sale. This is not just poor service—it’s blatant exploitation. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, unethical, and possibly illegal. We are in the process of reporting this to the Attorney General, DMV, and relevant consumer protection agencies. If you care about integrity, transparency, or basic decency—take your business elsewhere. No family should ever have to clean up the financial and emotional mess created by a dealership that preys on the vulnerable. More
