This is flat out a rip off of the consumer they don't care about their customers just their bottom line. It is an inconvenience but Haninia Subaru of Orange park gives great customer service and does not charge this ridiculous fee that is pure profit for the company. Jerry was extremely informative and patiently guided an elderly person through the buying experience. I was very happy with my purchase experience as I was very specific. My salesman, Andrew Bowman, was awesome. Very friendly and great customer service! I highly recommend Drew! Also, there was a problem with my tires after my purchase but the dealership promptly took care of rectifying the situation above my expectations. My one complaint is with the dealership itself. I walked in the door not only pre-approved but pre-qualified with a lender. I was told by my salesman that the dealership would not blow out my application to a bunch of lenders but if fact the sales department did. Knowing I had a challenging credit situation is why I walked in with a pre-qualified lender. Even with my application being sent out to numerous lenders, the dealership went with my already pre-qualified lender in the end. Several dings to my credit report and numerous contacts from lenders really got my goat. More
