My wife went to Santa Cruz toyota for 30k maintenance and they tried to charge us $1500 for $30k miles maintenance?!? When looking at the list, it included a massive number of completely unnecessary items an they tried to charge us $1500 for $30k miles maintenance?!? When looking at the list, it included a massive number of completely unnecessary items and parts. When we asked for 'we just want what is factory recommended' we they did not want to come forward with that information. When I dwindled it down (from a google search) to what we actually need, the price magically came down to $635. Sorry, this feels like a scam to me. People buy Toyotas because they are high quality and reasonable to maintain but this ridiculous overcharging makes me reconsider that. More
