Errors made I went for a 5000 mile oil change and with a free card for a free tire rotation and alignment check. I got the alignment on front end and tires rotat I went for a 5000 mile oil change and with a free card for a free tire rotation and alignment check. I got the alignment on front end and tires rotated. Never got the oil change. Wondered why the low overall cost till I got home. On way home, low tire pressure gage went off. I knew they forgot to adjust tire pressure and confirmed it once I got home. Front tires needed air and back tires needed adjusted. They failed to check pressure and document on bill. This is the 1st time of happening. I called them on the pressure issue. Since my car is low mileage, I will get the oil change later on. Just couldn't believe this happened. I live about 45 min. south so it is not a quick trip. More

Caliper Madness Why didn't all previous inspections catch the problem with my rear calipers? That's why I always take my Prius there, so I could avoid such problems t Why didn't all previous inspections catch the problem with my rear calipers? That's why I always take my Prius there, so I could avoid such problems through inspections done every single time I've taken my care there since purchased there. Previous inspections revealed no such problem--a "sticky caliper." I was also never informed that there is a $90 caliper service. Had I known that I could have avoided over $600 for Tuesday's repair. This is the very first time I've been disappointed with Gates service. Considering not returning until I get an explanation. Respectfully, Jose R. Roasario More

oil change All went well except I attempted to use a coupon I received from Gates in the mail for a 14.95 complete oil change. In small letters below the coupon All went well except I attempted to use a coupon I received from Gates in the mail for a 14.95 complete oil change. In small letters below the coupon it stated synthetic oil extra. My car requires synthetic oil so I was willing to pay the extra cost for the synthetic oil and still use the coupon. I was told I could not use it. I was told it was for conventional oil changes only when it clearly stated (synthetic oil extra) in small letters in the coupon. I find that somewhat deceptive with no clear explanation given. I ended up paying full oil change price minus 10 dollars for another coupon in the mailing from gates for 10 dollars off any service bill over 50 dollars. I would have saved more if I could have used the other coupon. I would like an explanation why I could not use the 14.95 coupon. More
