Tim, to his credit, responded quickly and well, arranging a loaner (I by then had to meet certain other engagements) and also providing a discount on the bill (that I had not requested). So I will come back again, but this is unfortunately not the first time I had had this experience of being told one time only to hear it would be a lot longer (it had happened with other service reps, so am not sure this is their problem but rather getting clearer estimates from the mechanics).
