I can’t say enough great things about my experience at Patriot Subaru — especially thanks to Jacob, who was incredibly helpful from start to finish. As a woman who has had some truly awful car-buying experiences in the past, I was honestly dreading the process when my vehicle was stolen recently. But Jacob completely changed that. He was patient, respectful, and never once made me feel pressured to buy. Instead, he worked with me to find a vehicle and a price that fit within my budget, and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. He took the time to walk me through how everything in the vehicle worked, made sure my phone was connected, and followed up afterward to check that everything was still running smoothly. He also offered additional protection plans without being pushy — just giving me the information and letting me decide what felt right for me. This was by far the most comfortable and supportive car-buying experience I've ever had. I’m so grateful to Jacob and the whole team. AWFUL EXPERIENCE - NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE: I paid about $3000+ for the extended warranty on my new 2022 Subaru Forester. I inquired about having the dealership installing an electric starter. They quoted me a price in the $600+ range. Spin City Auto Glass said they would install the same unit for around $340 so I went with them. In the end, the unit that was installed was causing my battery to short out. When I brought it to Stateline Subaru Maintenance Departmentto see what the issue was, I was told that my extended warranty was null and void because I had someone else other than a Subaru dealership install the remote starter/ plug into the original electrical system other than Stateline. I was furious. Spin City Auto Glass removed the unit and gave me my money back --- and the battery short issue ceased. THE KICKER: Spin City Auto Glass is the company that Stateline Subaru contracts to install their Remote Starters. The owner of Spin City told me this when I dropped off the remote starter that was uninstalled. When I informed the Stateline Maintenance team that this voided warranty should be reinstated because SPIN CITY does all their remote staters anyways, I was told to "go POUND SAND. The warranty on the electrics of my new Subaru would not be reinstated." Honestly -- you cannot make this SHADY and awful customer service up.

This is my second review of Ryan Morrow. I first dealt with him almost 2 years ago when I was considering turning in my 05 Camry. He knew I was just window shopping but met with me twice . I was so impressed that last month, when because of the tariff issue and the fact that my car was now just a few miles short of 300,000 miles, that I remembered Ryan and called to see if he was still there. I made an appointment and he was as professional and knowledgable as I remembered. It was a very stressful time and dedcision and he was totally supportive and not at all pushy. Because of Ryan, I purchased from Balise and did not visit other Subaru dealerships.

Because these are stand-up guys who have stepped up several times to make repairs or replace parts...over and above their warranty obligations... That is a rarity among businesses...and perhaps even rarer among car dealers. But Planet Subaru has a great philosophy: "DO THE RIGHT THING" And they live up to it...'nuf said, right?

Outstanding, five star service. Mark in the Service Department and the younger mechanic who serviced my car today, December 30, deserve a bonus. I walked in this afternoon in a panic because my Subaru, which I need to drive back to DC, had a complete system failure. Mark was extremely patient with me and helped me get the claim number associated with the battery defect class action suit. Once Mark got that, he set up my car with an excellent mechanic (I wish I got his name) who did the diagnostics and needed repairs in about an hour. My Subaru is working like a charm again. I cannot thank North Reading Subaru enough for getting my car ready to go again for my drive back to DC. Your team is the best.
