After a recent nightmare experience with another dealership, I came into Nissan of Bay Shore feeling hesitant, but Shane and Ahmad completely turned that around for me. Shane, the manager, was a breath of fresh air. He’s upbeat, has a genuinely bubbly personality, and most importantly he kept his word. When we shook hands on a monthly lease payment, he honored it without games, pressure, or surprises. That kind of integrity is rare and deeply appreciated. Ahmad, my salesperson, was equally impressive. He was patient, honest, and refreshingly straightforward. What a horrible experience so please enjoy the read. They have attempted to remove my reviews so they can pretend they are a great dealership and stand behind the sale and customer satisfaction. Well here are some screen shots where you can see that they knowingly sold a car with damage, lied about it, didn't disclose it was a theft recovery, mechanical issues as you can see from the lights on the dash, vehicle arrived with over 100 extra miles on it from when I purchased it to transport picking it up from them and more! My 2024 Nissan GTR was purchased through Hoffman Nissan with Gus as my point of contact. Rest assured he will take great care of you lol "hiding the damage and playing the I didn't know card" very well. Vehicle arrived with damage in all locations listed on the transport pick up sheet before it even arrived to me with 100 additional miles on it at pick up. Damaged components, alignment off, rims all had damage , mismatched tires (advised by Nissan not recommended as it can cause transmission issues) what do you know .... needs a transmission!!! (diagnosed by a local Nissan dealer!!) Said it was an issue prior to me owning the vehicle as diagnostic reports show it! They are liars and thieves and I have all the proof I need to take action. I have tried to contact Gus Loukus who has some how disappeared and does not answer phone calls, text or emails anymore after he made his money on the sale and Micheal Lapointe is no better! They both know what they did and how they lied and hid the damage and sold it to someone out of state to make the deal happen. Not only that they never reported by issues since August/ September of last year to the warranty claims department and let their guaranteed satisfaction warranty expire and not make a claim. A real clown show you have at this dealership and unfortunately with multiple attempts to have them stand up and resolve the problem they choose to run and hide instead of standing behind the sale and their brand. It is sad that a consumer has to get legal involved to have their vehicle repaired to the condition they were told it was in. I have attached screen shots showing that management wants to know what I want ......and my simple answer was the items not disclosed as damaged or having issues repaired or replaced. To then be ghosted and just ignored. It's sad you have to threaten with legal or social media exposure for a company to do the right thing anymore! Guess matters have to be taken to another level and I will make sure not only that this gets resolved but that no other consumer has to suffer and buy hidden garbage from your dealership! If you decide you would like to step up Hoffman and replace the parts on the vehicle you sold me with hidden damage you know where to find me. BTW it needs a transmission as well. If legal takes this claim over your bill goes up quite a bit and I won't go away. So why don't you make the right decision and take care of your customer. Step up and do the right thing. I will make it my life's mission to make sure I keep all social media options informed of this as well as potential customers thinking twice about spending a dollar with you.

After going back and forth between us and the "manager", we tried explaining the maximum amount I could finance & he wasn't having it. "That's not gonna work" was said to us more times than I cared to hear. What do you mean "it's not gonna work"?! There were plenty of used cars on that lot that fell into my price range. He wasn't having it. Kept pushing us. So we got up to walk out. The next thing I know "Gran" is dropping f-bombs!!! And when my husband responded to his outrageous language, "Gran" tried coaxing him into a physical altercation!!! He said "Let's take this outside!" My husband said "Neither of us are Spring chickens. I don't think you want to do that." Gran says "Let's take this off-property!" "We'll go across the street!" "I'll knock your head off!" We're already almost to the door and this guy is walking after us, threatening my husband!!! My husband asked "What are we, in high school?!" and we walked out. I was floored!!! I'm still in shock! I may have to file a police report & go to court for an order of protection. This guy knows everything about me! Full name, SSN, where I live, where I work. It's extremely concerning to me!

Bought a used 2016 Ram 1500 on 5/31/2025 as of 6/6/2025 the Massachusetts registration transfer still isn’t completed. Which means tomorrow I will no longer be able to legally drive the truck until they figure out how to do their job. Without the registration I cannot get a second keyfob (truck only came with one) made because Dodge requires bill of sale AND registration to get the programing pin on top of the vehicle being purchased in both mine and my husband’s name which means we both physically have to be there with photo ID to get the pin and he gets deployed on Monday so I’ll have to wait until he gets back which means I won’t be driving the truck until he’s home because the risk of losing the key and having to pay thousands to reprogram the truck to a set of keys isn’t worth it to me. We were told that it would be registered on Monday and the registration paperwork overnighted to us for Tuesday. After they messed up the paperwork and didn’t get it done Monday they promised we would have it registered by Friday but it’s Friday and still no registration. Our salesman is no longer responding and the sales manager will not return my phone calls. Never mind the lies they told us about how they wouldn’t fix the broken parking brake or chipped windshield when we looked at the truck and told them on 5/27/2025 that the truck would not pass mass inspection. Their response was“they didn’t have to abide by Massachusetts inspection laws. But lo and behold even in the state of CT they still have to pass a checklist including safety which those 2 issues fall under so they had to fix it, which they did. Why lie about it? They also claimed that they were going to have the truck detailed again prior to us leaving with it. Which they didn’t. The interior was still full of grime from the previous owner along with the previous owners personal information left in the vehicle when we test drove it. If I could rate this dealership zero stars I would.

Howeverr, Noel found a cost-effective solution and we didn’t need to replace the car starter. The car is now safe to drive and it didn’t break the bank. The service technicians go the extra mile.

This is undoubtedly because Juan Mills was one of the sweetest gentlemen I've ever dealt with at a car dealership and he made the transaction as smooth as can be. I leased my Rouge from this dealer in May, 2016. The deal they advertised was they would buy me out of my existing lease if I leased a new car from them. I did the deal and gave them my old Volkswagen but they "forgot" to turn it in. Come October I'm getting invoices from VW as the car was due to be turned in in September and Nissan said they would look into it. They say they had taken the car to their service department and forgot about it. In November they finally turned the car in and in January I got the final invoice. I sent it to them at least six times and they never answered me about paying the invoice. Now their showroom is empty and I am on the hook for $3,000 they were supposed to pay.

I want to applaud the Service Manager at Nissan of Yorktown Heights! His name Chris Risnes. He has only been there about 6 months. Although the business is about cars, he is about the people! I believe with his leadership, and modeling excellent customer service, this very low non- rating by the BBB, will not only improve, but excel. Chris went above and beyond to resolve a serious issue I had with my Nissan. I did not have transportation to the service department, and my car had the kind of problem that was a true safety issue. Chris did not delay, put off, make excuses, try to upsell, he went out of his way, came to where I live, left his car and took my car to the service department to be fixed. It took a day longer than he thought it might to get the part. He called me and let me know as soon as he knew. He called me the next day also to share an update. And he called when he was on his way back with my car. Elizabeth, who was at the service desk and took my call, also showed exemplary customer service ... she did not try and "get rid of me', listened to my story, and immediately went and talked to Chris, explained my story and he returned my call within a half hour. Both Chris and Elizabeth made me feel like they would find a solution, no matter what... not more obstacles. If your experince in the service department has felt lacking, prior to 6 months ago, please at least give those two folks a shot... they made all the difference in my experience as a customer needing assistance!
