We were shopping for a vehicle for my daughter, and we visited at least 5 dealerships in the Boston area. Central Chevy had the car we were looking for, so we drove to West Springfield. We worked with Tim G. in sales, and he was excellent. He was honest and did not engage in the high-pressure sales tactics we experienced at most of the Boston area dealerships. I have bought many cars from various manufacturers, and this was by far the best car sales experience I have had. Everyone at the dealership was wonderful. If you are in the market for a new Chevy and you want to work with a dealership you can trust, this is the place.

A few days ago I was having a bad day, no ac and a dead battery. I stopped by Greenfield Chevrolet late afternoon and the kind men in the office took no time coming to the rescue. I was told I was being given a ride home(Shelburne Falls), and told I would be picked up when the car was ready. The same nice man picked me up as the day before and my car was parked outside, ready for the trip home. I can’t tell you how much this meant especially since the temperature was close to ninety! I went today to look at a 2015 Ram with 117k miles. Before the test drive started the sales kid explained twice what "as is" meant, which I found odd. During the test drive, the engine light came on, So I asked to have the service department put there code reader on it. The salesman went in and came out a few minutes later explaining that their computer only worked on GM products. I kind of got a little ticked at this point and explained that the one they are legally required to have to preform state inspections has to read all makes. Then the story changed to they couldn't risk the liability of telling me what was wrong with it! At this point I started using words like dishonest, crooks, and shady and the sales kid agreed! Bottom line it was obvious the sales department had prior knowledge of major issues, and is trying to dump the truck onto someone else. Needless to say I will never do business with Brattleboro Auto Mall.

Last November we bought a 2015 Accord from Bedard's. We got a decent price for the 2009 Sonata trade in. We were going to pick up the Honda 2 days later but on the way home from there around 6:30 PM another one of the ignition coils went but we could still drive it running rough. The rack and pinion was already leaking which led us to trade it now rather than fix it. Talk about perfect timing, right? So we called Bedard's from the car and long story short we drove back there and they got the insurance upgraded from the reduced coverage we had on the Sonata after it was paid for and transferred our plates to the Honda so we could leave the old car there and take the Honda home that night. And it was a steady rain from when we first went there until we came home with the newer car. All in all they did right by us although with all the frustrations of what the day entailed I didn't bother to try to get the price lowered somewhat but that was on me. I just wanted to get it done and go home, so we did and were relieved that we didn't have to wonder what the next bad surprise would be with the other car. Johanna was our sales person and they were all nice to deal with.

DOC Fee excessive, low ball trade price - Grnmtman

Saw a 2010 Patriot on their lot. Lots of miles, over 100K.Thought it was strange this vehicle was there.Should have been on one of those "Midnight Auto Sales" lots. Looked at the maintenance records and thought I would chance it. They tried to low ball me on my Jeep trade. Offered a little over three K.After insisting more,they went up to 5K. They sold my Jeep for 10K or around there. It was listed for 10. I paid too much for the Patriot.I thought it was listed correctly but found out later, not so. The Dealer DOC Feee is a dollar short of $400.00. My first two car payments went to pay that off. The Patriot is a total junk vehicle. I have driven it just a few thousand miles and it is throwing codes like 4x4 and ABS and skid control,etc, gas cap. Now I am stuck with a junk that I owe 6K on. The 4x4 will not go into position when the codes decide to pop up. Fooled me once, you will never fool me again. Had one repair done under 30 day warranty.Code on dash. They determined it was the gas cap.The vehicle came with a attached gas cap line. They replaced it with a non attached gas cap,the kind you get at Walmart for 6 bucks. That alone sent a red flag to me about this situation.
