My first was a Ford Focus last October, and now the Explorer. I went back primarily for the character of Mr. Sam Limo (sales person) and Mr. David Hill (Finance Manager). And if the first time was a great experience, they out did themselves the second time. This second time was unusual. The gray/silver Explorer I purchased Friday had an Air Bag light that my wife did not notice when she drove the car from the overflow lot to the main dealership. Sam did notice it and took the car to the Service area to be checked. Initially they thought it was due to a device installed at the original dealership (the vehicle was a dealership trade). So, they kept the car overnight. It ended being a defective component that they had to order. My wife asked if it would be possible to get a different Explorer on the same price range. That was today. Sam got to work quickly and called my wife he had a similar model in black and that he would be ready this afternoon. We were both happy with that. Little did we know that David Hill was working on something else for us. When we arrived to the dealership the car was ready for pickup and all we had to do was sign the paperwork to get the other vehicle. Mr. Hill surprised us with a better deal than we got on Friday (which was already great). I won't go into any details because every situation is different, but I can say that we were surprised and extremely pleased. He didn't have to do anything beyond what we requested and given the fact that we were happy with the straight swap, they could've easily had left it at that. In summary, he went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND what I expected "for our troubles." This is not a fake Yelp review. I am not an actor. I am a real, satisfied customer who want to pay it forward by letting everyone I can reach that these people at Five Star Ford in North Richland Hills are the real deal. Oh... and I almost forgot to say that both cars were excellent purchases. My college bound son is extremely happy with the brand new Focus I bought for him last October and the brand new Explorer I just bought for my wife is AWESOME. And by the way, I got fair value for both cars I traded in. More

First Car Buying Experience When I went to the dealer, I was quickly assisted by a very competent and kind salesperson. He was quick to take the lead when I told him this was my first car buying experience and pointed me to cars that were in my budget without being pushy. He patiently answered all my questions (I had a lot) and was very respectful of my lack of car-buying experience. He even stayed until about 10:00pm to make sure that I was getting the service I needed. The financing person I spoke with was a fun personality and also was very willing to work with me. Everybody patiently worked with me over several days until I was ready to buy the car. My only complaints of this car-buying experience was that it felt a little rushed, so it was hard to keep up with all that was going on (that might just be because I haven't done it before). Additionally, the financing person I spoke with talked too fast and kept changing numbers because items were left out of calculations or he misspoke, which made it hard to track what my cost were and made it difficult at times to make a decision. Overall, though, it was a great first-time car-buying experience. More

I found myself needing an affordable My secondary, around-town car of 14 years suddenly and unexpectedly had some major issue crop up late last week. I found myself needing an affordable replacement fairly quickly. I stepped on the Five Star lot already knowing what I wanted and the price I was willing to pay. I encountered and worked with Alfred El-Darazi who got me fixed up and on my way with a new vehicle in short order. Alfred was friendly and easy to talk to. He was honest about some of the limitations in what I was hoping to do with the vehicle I was seeking. And, he was helpful as we negotiated the terms that were good for both sides. It is the first time I have stepped foot on a lot in over a decade, having been scared away by some negative previous encounters. My last few car-purchasing experiences have been done over the phone with a leasing agent. While I will continue to use her, Alfred really did do a good job not only to help me get the car and terms I wanted, but to redeem my view of car salesmen. I would recommend Five Star, and, specifically, Mr. El-Darazi. I also was pleased to work on the financing part of the deal with the Tutman - Tut Edwards. He was very straightforward and easy to talk to as well. He was efficient. I have had prior experiences in signing car financing agreements that drag on forever. Tut got my wife and I in-and-out of his office quickly, again with the terms we wanted. Tut was also a great character, the kind that made the process even more enjoyable. Great job, Five Star. I hope that I don't need a car for a long time. But, if I do, I will not hesitate to show back up and do business again. More

We were happy to know he was still with the dealership, and reached out to him. Changing our minds about getting the Explorer, ( too big), we decided on the Edge. Randall worked with us to meet our monthly payment, and the process went very smooth. David Hill assisted us with our paperwork for the contract, and he also, was very informative and professional. The sales manager, Mike, went the extra mile and had the car brought out to our house to make sure it would fit in the garage with room to spare.
