Called out of state to order a 2022 ford raptor. I worked with Gary Pacheco and it started off very pleasant and he got my order finalized same day. Also got an email from Ford confirming it. I worked with Gary a couple of days afterwards to edit the spec sheet once or twice and he assured me it was edited according to request. Felt like a dream come true since most dealers were out of allocation. Needless to say I was looking forward to working with the team. Come later February I was building the raptor out on the website and there was a 3k unannounced price hike. I called Gary and he assured me they would 100% price protect my original order. I initially felt reassured. But after that, Gary was unresponsive for the next 3-4 weeks. I called in to the dealer to speak about my order but none of the sales managers knew what I was talking about in regards to the MSRP increase, Gary's price protection promise, or any of my spec sheet edits. Not only did they go back on their word for price protection on a $76000 2022 raptor, but Gary also had not changed a thing about my order like we discussed over the phone (nothing had been changed since the initial order). This was very upsetting because I was planning on travelling with my family to receive the truck and also possibly order and pick up a 2022 loaded f150 Lariat for my dad who needs a new truck. I requested and received my deposit back but they get a raptor allocation for free now. Very disappointed and was expecting a better experience for my first enthusiast purchase. Went with a 2022 ram TRX from Koon's instead and they have written agreement with price protection and 10k off MSRP with no deposit. More
